Established in 1978, we are one of the South’s leading experts in Upholstery and Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs.
Partner in Dee Cee Upholstery, Derek Caplen, became the youngest master Upholsterer in the UK at the tender age of 21, and by the age of 43 he had become the youngest Fellow of the Association of Master Upholsterers for his outstanding contribution in training young people, and dedication to the A.M.U. and Soft Furnishers.
As suppliers of award winning, quality Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs, we are acknowledged experts, recommended by occupational therapists, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, and are approved specialist suppliers to local councils and the NHS.

Derek & Sam were prompt on arrival & very helpful with advice. They have made our "tired" suite look like new & I can now get up off the settee without using my hands. We had two new sofa base cushions to replace very old ones. The people in this shop were extremely helpful and understood exactly what kind of product would be best. The price quoted was very reasonable and the order process was easy and seamless. The cushions were ready in less than two weeks and the owner of the shop even drove to our house to pick up the old cushions and replace with the new ones. I did not know this kind of personal service existed nowadays! Highly recommended and we would definitely use again. A fabulous small business!

I had 4 large L shaped cushion's refilled and a zip repair. Derek gave me good advice and was very helpful. Was quoted they would be ready in 2 weeks, but were ready in one. I required eight conservatory seat cushions recovered and having purchased goods from the same shop many years ago. I decided to give them a go. It was really good to find out that the shop is still run on a family basis and that two of the chaps in the shop were apprentice to Ron Eldridge. The service was perfect. The virus control is well supported and looked perfectly safe to get in the shop. The quality of the material and the workmanship was of A1 service. The cushions were completed on time. I highly recommend DeeCee.

I am over the moon with the quality of workmanship from Dee Cee Interiors. I was apprehensive about having my suite re-upholstered, but wow I have two absolutely unique stunning sofas, in superb fabrics. Derek and his team spent time explaining about the fabrics and which fabrics would crush over time and which wouldn't. The staff at Dee Cee were always very helpful and friendly, the whole experience was excellent, very personal and friendly, yet professional. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dee Cee Interiors. A first class job!

We inherited an Ercol chair which was in need of recovering. We contacted Dee Cee Upholstery as they were very local to us and have an excellent reputation. They collected the chair and completed the work within the agreed timescale. What particularly impressed us was not only the standard of work (which is superb) but the fact that they kept us informed of progress from the initial estimate, a discussion on the selection of materials and possible extras through to completion and delivery. We don’t have anything else to recover but if we did we would use them again without hesitation.

I commissioned Dee Cee to repair and reupholster my grandfather's old rocking chair and some more modern dining chairs and they have done a superb job. Karen helped me decide on the right fabrics from an impossibly large array of options and they look perfect now the chairs are done and home. Derek showed great attention to detail on the work, as well as providing a super-efficient collection and delivery service. They only take the chairs away when they are ready to do the work, and the project was complete within a week. The finished chairs are a world away from what they were and are a real enhancement to my home now. Thank you Dee Cee!

We had a Parker Knoll fireside chair which was left to us by an elderly neighbour which had previously been re-upholstered. It was looking tired so we visited Dee Cee to view samples. Derek had previously re-upholstered a foot stool so we chose a co-ordinating fabric. We also had the legs stripped and re- polished, seat cushion and springing replaced. The chair has just returned and the workmanship is first class and the chair is as good as new, pattern matching is perfect. A top quality job.
