We would like to introduce you to Dee Cee Upholstery and Interior’s World of Comfort.
Established in 1978, we are one of the South’s leading experts in Upholstery and Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs.
Partner in Dee Cee Upholstery, Derek Caplen, became the youngest master Upholsterer in the UK at the tender age of 21, and by the age of 43 he had become the youngest Fellow of the Association of Master Upholsterers for his outstanding contribution in training young people, and dedication to the A.M.U. and Soft Furnishers.
As suppliers of award winning, quality Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs, we are acknowledged experts, recommended by occupational therapists, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, and are approved specialist suppliers to local councils and the NHS.

I was extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the attitude of this trader. The pattern on the fabric was not placed properly to the centre on a small stool he was asked to upholster, and consequently now looks off-centre. In addition, I asked at the outset that the original fabric be kept for return to me - but apparently it was thrown in their bin and subsequently could not be retrieved ! Finally I had to make numerous phone calls to get the remaining 1 meter of the new (very expensive) velvet returned to me. When it finally was brought back, it was completely scrunched up and very creased, with two rubber bands around it. All in all, an unpleasant and stressful experience with Dee Cee upholstery and naturally I shall never use them again.

In response to Mrs B we would like to say how disappointed we are with her review. Firstly, the quality of our work was never in question, and on delivery Mrs B seemed very happy with her stool. We received only one call regarding her left over material which we promptly delivered the same day neatly rolled up. Regarding the patterned fabric (supplied by Mrs B herself), this was placed in the only way possible to fit the stool. Whilst we admit to the mistake of failing to return the old fabric removed from the stool, Mrs B fails to mention that we came to an amicable financial refund that she was happy with. She also fails to mention that we removed and rehung her large and heavy curtains at no cost to herself! We believe our workmanship and indeed our customer service to be of the highest quality, as our 78 other reviews attest to. We have been in business for 38 years and always strive to treat our customers with the utmost respect and courtesy.

It is a nice feeling when we get a job through a recommendation from a previous satisfied customer. The chairs were re-upholstered in an Oyster colour faux linen, with matching window seat that was self-piped and buttoned. Another customer who would highly recommend us.

Hi Leslie , as you know your original Pirelli rubber Webbing after 30 years had completely perished and in need of replacing. the job was completed in 2 days .

We required a cushion for our bench in the kitchen. Dee Cee Upholsterers created a quality cushion that will take years of use without showing wear and tear as the manufacture process was very thorough. Quite expensive but a excellent product.

We supplied a top-quality 3" fire retardant foam cushion interior which was wrapped in polyester and stockinet lining for your bench seat. The cushion was made with a box self piped edging fitted with a zip. As with anything quality comes at a price. We are pleased that you gave us a 5-star rating for quality and you stated that it was an excellent product. At this point, I would like to thank you for your email received on 28/09/21. " I Just would like to say thank you for making my seat cushion. I am so pleased with the quality of workmanship and the time it took to make it. It looks fantastic and I appreciate the effort taken to complete it, with the material that you were given. I love it"

I had a chair that was 60 years old, and in a poor state. It was transformed into a lovely heirloom. The workmanship was excellent. Maybe not the best selection of materials, but I was able to bring my own.

I was really pleased with the friendly and reliable service Derek at Dee Cee Upholstery provided. The finished outcome, a window seat cushion cover, was better than I could have hoped for! My only slight niggle is that, days after I thought the job had been started, I had to confirm a third time that I wanted the work to be done. This meant that I had to wait a bit longer but it was well worth the wait!

The window seat was custom made by our customers carpenter . The fabric used was a chenille selected from our end of rolls in our remnant room at ( ( at half the normal retail price ) . We upholstered the base using 3 " medium density fire retardant foam covered with an interliner of 4 0z polyester . We then trimmed the top edge with piping in the same fabric and delivered the window seat free of charge, as our customer stated it was worth the wait.
