A first class product supplied and fitted by a first class company. Having used Derwent Windows previously we decided to approach the company to supply and fit the remaining windows in our property. Expert advice during the survey was given on the most appropriate type of windows. In this instance traditional casement rather than sash windows, two of which we had previously fitted by the company. Work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget despite some inclement weather conditions at times. The fitters were always considerate when in our home protecting fixtures and fittings at all times. Having used the company before we have found the aftercare excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Derwent Windows and will be using the company for future work.

Derwent Windows are usually very good, but with this order of just one window its been an awful experience. It was weeks for someone to actually visit and measure up the opening, which has had knock on problems meaning we weren't able to complete the extension weather proofing before Christmas. The chap fitting the window didn't seem to want to be here, and we still haven't got the keys to operate it. We placed an order with someone else for a Bifold door, and from order to fitting was 3 weeks.

Decided to replace 2 doors and 2 windows including our front door..Viewed the products at a local showroom and obviously they were of very good quality.The surveyor was very experienced and was able to answer all our enquiries.Long lead time for manufacture but we were very pleased with the quality once fitted.The fitters were excellent working hard throughout the day despite heavy rain even refitting Venetian blinds afterwards which we thought we would have to do. Although they inadvertently cut through a telephone cable which both we and they thought was redundant when it turned out it wasn’t they successfully repaired the severance. Overall very happy with the product and extremely happy with the fitting.

This company has now undertaken installations at both my current and previous properties, in all, several stunning window and door projects over the past 10 + years. The work just completed (December 2023) required feasibility advice on the installation of brand new floor-to-ceiling timber windows in alcoves to either side of a fireplace. From the initial survey and valued technical advice, to ordering the bespoke timber products, and finally the skilled building work undertaken by the superb in-house team, everything went to plan - and looks fantastic.

We had two traditional casement windows fitted to the front of our house to replace existing windows, which were pretty much beyond repair. From start to finish the service we received was excellent. Options and costings were explained clearly and communication along the way couldn’t have been better. Very satisfied. Good company to deal with and would use them again.

We were so pleased with the doors, French windows and windows they fitted in the summer we asked them back to install some more. Superb product, skilled and friendly workforce and competitive price (you get what you pay for). The customer service and caring attention to detail second to none.

Derwent windows initially installed 2 new French doors for us in April and we were so pleased with them that we went ahead and asked them to replace all the windows in our house which were in a sorry state. We were rather anxious as it was such a big, expensive job but we couldn't be happier with the finished result as our new windows are not only beautiful in appearance but they have made the house much more soundproof, warmer and secure. The whole job was completed within the 2 week schedule and the timekeeping of the window team was excellent. They were friendly, respectful and professional throughout and there was minimal disruption during the job. It has been a pleasure to deal with a company who not only have first rate products but also have a good team of window fitters to install them. We live in a conservation area, so planning permission was needed. Derwent Windows we’re helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. From our first showroom visit to installation we found all staff professional. All deadlines were met, the installation went smoothly with care taken working around garden plants and tidying after. We are very pleased with the finished job, the sash windows look fabulous and no painting! We will use Derwent Windows again and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

After a couple of our neighbours had used Derwent Windows we decided to contact them and enquire what they could do for us. What an excellent experience from start to finish. Well, what a joy, what an experience, what a result. 'Period Orangery' built in 3 months to a high specification with large sash cord windows and lantern with tumbled facing bricks from north cot brick with fabulous Aluco doors linking to the main lounge. Derwent during the build period never missed a beat and their quiet focus on the quality of work and detail was ever-present. Beyond being built to architectural with this level of focus I was very proud to be part of the team. Anticipating a Jaguar, we have built a Bentley.

We have recently had a brand new front door and stained glass top light fitted at our new house and we are delighted with the quality and look of the product and fitting. The communication after visiting the showroom was good and whenever I needed to call for an update and I could get straight through and speak to the person handling our order. We had a little hiccup along the way with some of the glass being damaged during removal however I cannot fault the service provided in response to this to get it resolved and we have ended up with an even better toplight as a result. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly the fitters workmanship is top quality. Overall, we are delighted with the door and service provided. I would 100% recommend.

In my experience Derwent Windows appear to be a well managed company whose service is of a high quality at all levels through the whole workforce. From assessment to completion of the work they give attention to detail and always put the customer first. Yes they are more expensive than other companies offering window replacement but my belief is that it is well worth the extra expense to deal with a company that operate with integrity and employ a skilled and trained workforce. I recommend them without hesitancy.

Derwent replaced 16 of our Sash and casement windows on our Victorian house. From start to finish they have been very easy to work with and are the opposite of a hard sales window company. There work is second to none and we are really pleased with the windows we have had so many compliments already. They aren’t the cheapest on the market however they are worth every penny to know we have had the best job done. Would highly recommend and will be using them again when we have our extension.

Derwent Windows provided the best customer service we have ever experienced. They were extremely helpful, very professional and the standard of work from the fitters was outstanding. Whilst the windows are not the cheapest, the quality is high and we would definitely choose them again.

Derwent Windows gave an excellent service from the quotation assessment to the detailed site survey and then to the installation. I thought the nature of the site survey was particularly useful; we discussed the nuances of the installation and they were able to answer all of my queries in a detailed yet easy-to-understand manner. Therefore, I was very confident in the installation ahead, which mostly, I would not be at home to witness. The quality of the work carried out was very good. The sash windows provided are of excellent quality and the wooden architrave and facias (made on-site, at my home) that surround the internal of each window fit perfectly between the window and the wall. The slightly high price of the installation was largely driven by the need for quality sash windows that are in keeping with the age of my house and the conservation area in which I live. Informal quotes from other companies using the same type of manufactured sash windows gave a similar ball-park price. I was very pleased with the service provided by Derwent Windows and would recommend them to future potential customers.

We had a solid wood sash window replaced by Derwent Windows. The quality of the product is top rate & the fitters did an excellent job, very thorough, polite & exceptionally well cleaned during & at the end of the job. The time from order placed to fitting was very considerable , but that is the same very where I imagine. They are not the cheapest windows on the market, but I would rather pay a premium for the product quality & craftmanship. I would definitely use again & would recommend Derwent Windows

Derwent Windows were able to provide arched timber windows entirely in keeping with our early 19th Century Old Toll House. The transformation to our house has been amazing. So many neighbours have commented positively on the appearance of these windows including some older people who remember what this house used to look like. Comments like ' your new windows look stunning' have frequently been made. We are delighted with the difference these windows have made to our home - not only in appearance but also in better heat and sound insulation. The team did an excellent job and were a pleasure to work with. Follow-up after sales was also very good. There is no doubt that this project was expensive but we were prepared to pay for quality and see it as an investment in our property. But mainly we see it as a great improvement to our home on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.

So glad I made the journey to Ripley to see Derwent Windows. Had planned to used an installer locally but none of them return my call after quote stage. Derwent were brilliant from the moment I rang them. Arrange a time to visit their showroom and even what bus to catch to their showroom. A survey was done within a week of the visit. Their knowledge and customer care was so good, I put an order in straight away. The actually installation went smoothly. The fitter was great - explain everything that was going to happen and was so meticulous in the installation and tidied up afterwards. I am thrilled with my door. Wish I chosen them from the beginning. Thank you to all the team for their help!!!

Project went to plan. We chose our preferred door. Surveyor came out to measure and following his visit felt reassured that we’d made the right choice. Proof of the pudding though is installation. The installation team were first class and we are thrilled with the door. All round first class service and product.

We have used Derwent windows 3 times now and would highly recommend. From start to finish everyone is great to deal with and the standard of the work is second to none.

We can't rate Derwent Windows highly enough. They conducted the initial site visit and provided wisdom and expertise about what our house may have looked like originally to help choose the right products. He was very patient while we looked at different options and we felt able to trust him. They then coordinated surveys and commissioned builders for us to do lintels and stonework. All calls and appointments happened when they were agreed, no issues and any sticking points were talked through clearly. Everyone in the office organised the quotations and final details without any fuss or mistakes. Then the builders and fitters did an absolutely superb job - we have had multiple comments from neighbours and passers by about what a great improvement and how sympathetic the new windows are. They are quality products that look set to last. We are very glad we trusted Derwent with this work.

Rob and the team from Derwent Windows have designed and built us a superb orangery. The team have been consistently hard-working, punctual, and professional throughout the process. Rob has site managed the project throughout. He has always kept us informed at each stage of construction, providing daily updates. The finished build is outstanding in quality and beyond our expectations. This is the third time we have used the company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

We were looking for traditional sash windows to fit into a renovation of a Georgian property. Derwent really impressed when we saw the product in the showroom. Cost was not excessive for the type of product. Fitting went extremely well with the professional installers doing a clean, quick and beautiful job. I will use them again for the next part of the renovation.

Thanks for all your help and advice over the past months, the whole service Derwent provided from the day we came over to the showroom to view in April, Andrew expertly surveying the work, to admin answering our many questions, until the fitters completed the work has been absolutely first class. It has been great to work with a company that take so much effort and pride in delivering such good customer service not only in ensuring the quality of the finished product, but also in the care, detail, politeness, personal service and interest shown by all the staff involved throughout the project. A particular thanks to Dan, Mark, Ben and Calum who worked tirelessly in difficult conditions to fit the windows. The detail, care and effort they put in to ensure the finished article was perfect, was superb. They really were all excellent throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Our old windows had been in for probably 150 years, so you can imagine the amount old dust and dirt created from behind the frames once they were removed. The fitters worked diligently to clean up after themselves and return the rooms to pristine condition each night, leaving us with very little work to do, for which we were understandably very grateful. The windows both upstairs and downstairs look great, many thanks. We will definitely be telling all our friends about Derwent Windows and look forward to working with you again in the near future

From measuring to fitting, nothing was left to chance. Windows arrived on time and were speedily and professionally fitted. Everything was “made good” afterwards with no fuss. In fact, I was so impressed both with the quality of product and fitting, I ordered another set to match. As I say, a first class company with first class staff.

Derwent supplied and fitted a new front door and surround for our 1920’s house. Very pleased with the appearance and quality of the product, the quality of the work done and the work ethic/conduct of the team who did the work.

All went exactly as Derwent said it would. A large team took 3 days from start to finish (supported by copious quantities of tea and biscuits from the customer). The workmanship of both the windows and fitting has been excellent. Particular mention must be made of the young joiner who did some great work rebuilding sills and internal surroundings. The team left the house totally clear of all dust, rubble and other mess the re-fitting process creates. They were friendly, organised and professional and left very little retouching of the paintwork to be done both inside and out. We now have windows that are secure, easy to open and keep clean and look very much in keeping with the architecture of a house now over 100 years old. We still have a few more windows to replace and will certainly be going back to Derwent to get them done.

We had Evolution flush casement windows fitted as well as a new Timer Doors front door with side panels. The windows and door include encapsulation of the original leaded light stain glass windows. Dealing with the office at Derwent has been a pleasant experience from our first visit to the showroom through to completion of fitting. Likewise, all the fitters who have been out to the house have also been very extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of the products and have received many complements from neighbours, visitors, and passers-by! We would have no hesitation in ordering from Derwent again in the future.

We have had all of our external windows and doors replaced by Derwent in 2 phases over the last couple of years and honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough. Great people to deal with, attention to detail and quality of materials is excellent, no sense that the job needs to be rushed so the fitters aren't unduly stressed so they can do their job properly and to a standard that they are content with. No hidden extras; in our experience the price given is honoured even if unforeseen difficulties are encountered during the work, and if it takes a little longer than anticipated to get the job right then that is what happens. We spoke to several mainstream companies and also local suppliers before settling on Derwent - the level of info they provide in their quotation is above and beyond that provided by anyone else. Others varied from 'the back of a fag packet' to tons of paperwork which actually gave very little detail of what was actually being provided, and of course followed by the 'hard sell'. We got none of that from Derwent. By the time the work was finished saying thanks and goodbye to Ian, our prime fitter throughout, was like bidding farewell to a good friend! The problem we have now is that our soffits, fascias & gutters need to be replaced to match but they have set the bar so high its going to be difficult to find a company with equivalent standards. Of course they are not the cheapest but that really depends on where your priorities lie - price or quality?

The service from Derwent Windows & Doors was very professional but also friendly from the initial inquiry all the way through to the installation and after sales care. We really love our Aluco Aluminum crittal doors and they look stunning as part of a full renovation of our dining room, living room and conservatory. Highly recommended.

We had a 'Timber Windows' front door with side panels and top light, a back door and an Evolution casement bathroom window fitted. The quality of the windows and doors was second to none. I had obtained quotes from other companies and although Derwent windows were more expensive than most, you definitely get what you pay for and I am so glad that I decided to use this company. Customer service was friendly and efficient and Jan was extremely helpful in answering my questions and making changes to my order along the way as I kept changing my mind! The fitters were friendly and professional and worked hard to get the job done. They created very little mess and tidied up after themselves. They removed our old doors and window very carefully avoiding any damage to external render and internal decoration. All in all we are delighted with the finished result.

We have recently had a wooden stable door fitted in a stone cottage, by Derwent windows . This is a very good product from timber windows. Dougie the installer arrived promptly as arranged, the installation was first class in very poor conditions. Not the cheapest door available but the total service make this worthwhile. Highly recommend and would use this company again.

Derwent Windows was initially recommended to me by my neighbours who had had all their windows replaced and were very satisfied. From this recommendation I had 2 windows replaced a couple of years ago and was more than happy with them. I have now had a replacement door to the balcony with a top window fitted this week. I'm delighted. There was quite a delay from ordering the door to it being fitted but in this Covid year that is no surprise. The 2 fitters did an excellent job and left the room very clean and tidy. I was shown very carefully how to operate the locks and I was impressed by how careful the fitters were in protecting the stair carpet. The products aren't cheap but the quality is excellent.

We went with Derwent windows because my parents had all their windows and doors fitted by them and was extremely happy and couldn’t speak highly enough of the service from the business owner to the fitters. After my parent's house was finished most of the other houses on the street had doors or windows from the same company just because they saw what a good job they’d done. We only had the front and rear door replaced but from looking around the great showroom they didn’t pressure you and was all very friendly and knowledgable. After we decided what we wanted it was emailed to us how the doors would look and the cost. The fitter was fantastic and a credit to the company, Really friendly, didn’t rush and did the job to the highest standard. Before he left both him and the owner of the business asked if we were happy with the job. Without doubt, if I need anything else or anyone asks who they should use for this sort of work I’d 100% recommend Derwent windows.

We would highly recommend this company, as they work to a very high standard, along with having excellent communication before, during and after the job. We had our upstairs window enlarged to accommodation bi fold doors, which has created a fantastic space, which we are thrilled with. Everyone involved was polite, and respectful, especially so in the the current circumstances relating to the Covid pandemic. We cannot recommend them enough, as we have used to company for many years now, and have always been pleased with the outcome.

Not cheap and pitched as a top of the range product we bought 6 sash windows and an external door for an old stone cottage. Throughout Derwent windows provided a clear, responsive and professional service, they managed our expectations and the team doing the installation were top notch. Time will be the real test of product quality but from the experience to date I have high hopes and no problems commending Derwent Windows for their delivery.

The sash windows of our Edwardian semi needed replacing. Our next-door neighbours had theirs replaced some years ago, by Derwent Windows, and have been very pleased with them. We thought they looked very good quality, as well as visually being almost indistinguishable from our originals. From the first contact with Derwent Windows through measuring, quotation, showroom visit to installation, the whole process has been excellent. All the staff have been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and skilful. The quality of the windows and workmanship couldn't be bettered. We have already recommended this company to friends and neighbours, including those who have stopped to admire our windows and ask who did them!

We first used Derwent nearly 3 years ago to replace the door and windows at the front and then just recently to replace the rear windows. Both times they have been spot on and I would definitely recommend them without hesitation. As others have said, they came in slightly more expensive than other firms but their attention to detail on the fitting and finishing touches is outstanding. The first time, we had two windows knocked into one and they plastered, trimmed stonework etc and now you wouldn't know there was once two windows there. Second time they had a high window to replace on a stairwell but handled the challenge with ease. They are very friendly and super tidy, minimal touching up of paintwork needed. Thank you.

We have used this company before so we know how reliable and helpful they are. Obviously the schedule was interrupted because of the lockdown situation but we were kept informed about when the business could resume and we were given a new date as soon as possible. We were not disappointed, the work was done to a very high standard. Timekeeping was excellent and not a moment of the day was wasted. The room and outside area were left tidy and clean. I would have no hesitation using the company again.

We are really pleased with our new replacement windows. The quality of the work is outstanding. Derwent fitters were friendly and helpful and worked very cleanly with no mess at all. The Windows have made a noticeable difference to warmth in the house. Love the look from the inside and outside. Large project of over 40 windows/doors/bifold etc with differing styles from traditional sash at the front of the house to a more contemporary design to the rear undertaken through 4 phases of work over a three years time period and the customer service levels, professionalism and quality remained at a high level throughout this period. A lot of support around getting the correct specification from numerous meetings, use of the showroom and the prompt return of calls/enquires to clarify the smallest detail and the level of patience/support during the various project time periods was key. As the project was conducted over 3 years and four phases we had a wide selection of team members as well as some familiar faces working at our property but all set very high standards in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and quality of work. Snagging was a breeze as the team had already completed their own snagging list and kept us fully informed throughout the phase of each project. Just remains to say thanks and would highly recommend.

From start to finish the company provided excellent customer service. They were meticulously clean as they covered all the furniture, curtains and flooring and were careful to remove it afterwards. The fitters Ian and Dan were consummate professionals. They kept me informed and involved me at every step. They were courteous and polite. There were a couple of minor issues which they resolved straight away. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy reviewing every window that they fitted with me. Would definitely recommend this company again as they made the whole experience as easy as possible from start to finish.

They fitted two double-glazed sash windows quicker than expected and on budget. They hit a problem with some old electrics in the house and resolved it quickly with no inconvenience or delay. This is the third time we have used Derwent and they are always polite, professional and respectful of the house which they leave in immaculate condition.

We had seven hardwood sash windows and a set of orangery doors replaced by Derwent Windows this month and have been delighted with the finished product and the quality of service throughout the entire process. The work was carried out to time and high standard. The workmen were polite and kept everywhere as clean as possible during the work and cleaned up when they finished. We were delighted with the high quality of the door and frame and the way it was finished and fitted. After Derwent replaced our front windows about 10 years ago - a job we were very pleased with - we decided to use them again to replace our ageing rear windows with wood-effect uPVC (in our opinion, it looks just as good as painted wood, and there is a lot less maintenance). We made 2 or 3 visits to the showroom, where there are comprehensive displays of all the ranges they sell. They deal only in high-quality frames, so this is not the firm to use if you are looking for cheap double glazing. Service throughout was helpful and courteous, with good and frequent communication by e-mail and phone. One window required stained glass, and they directed us to a local expert company to choose the glass colours. The installers work long days and just get on carefully and expertly with the job, including moving and protecting furniture etc., and cleaning up at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the appearance and quality of the finished installation. A courtesy call from Andy today to ensure we were happy was a nice touch.

Derwent Sash Windows recently installed new sash windows to the front bedrooms of our Victorian terraced house. Their team, from initial consultation to completion of work, was excellent throughout. The windows are superb and met the local council's planning requirements for the conservation area. We would definitely recommend them.

We had our old UPVC windows replaced with timber casement windows from Derwent. Their customer service from visiting the showroom to the finished windows is first class, everything from a deposit protection policy to polite, skilful & tidy fitters. The timber windows look great and make such a difference. We would highly recommend Derwent to anybody looking for new windows, it's exactly how a company should be run but so few are.

Derwent fitted 11 sash windows into our Victorian house. We had seen other houses in our area fitted with their windows which have stood the test of time; Andy clearly explained the differences between products Derwent offered and was able to guide our decision-making. The whole process from start to finish has been top quality, as are the windows. Communication has been clear and courteous, all staff have been trustworthy and friendly, and the windows enhance our property. The budget and schedule were adhered to. Every aspect of the work carried out renovating a number of large stained glass windows in our late Victorian house was excellent: quality of the product, craftsmanship, efficiency and cleanliness of the installation, and customer service throughout the project. Advice and guidance, and communication from the Derwent team were also outstanding from initial discussions to completion.

We had a front door fitted in January and have been very pleased with the standard of care throughout the process. The quality of the goods is excellent as is the skill of the fitter, Dougie, who made a super job. We are delighted and will use the company in the future.

We had a replacement hardwood front door and surrounding frame and stained glass encapsulation. The original stained glass windows were removed about a month prior to fitting. Expertly removed and our home securely boarded up. We are delighted with the finished product. The original stained glass and leaded window has been carefully cleaned, repaired and encapsulated and looks amazing. The new front door is also of a really high quality and finish. The fitters removed and fitted the new frame, window and door in a day, with minimal fuss. We were consulted throughout the fitting on minor details that needed a decision . We recently used Derwent Sash windows to install Origin bi fold doors and windows. Their professionalism and customer care are excellent. We had all the windows and doors replaced. We chose Derwent windows because they supplied Evolution windows which I considered to be the best on the market. The price was the price and non-negotiable but we considered this a positive after dealings with other National firms who's starting prices were frighteningly high followed by pressurised negotiations! Derwent were very helpful with choosing and detailing, but some confusion arose because we talked to four people, this was resolved when we asked for one focal contact (hence the 4 star rating). The installation team were fantastic, polite, helpful, covered everything with plastic sheeting and no problem was too small. All snags were resolved to our complete satisfaction.

Very high standard of workmanship. Beautifully made and fitted door and windows. They even opened up the old fanlight over the door, which had been bricked up years ago. The plastering afterwards was of a very high standard too. Courteous and prompt service. I would recommend highly to anyone in this area.

Changed all of the windows in our house and have to say this was the one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. Everything went very smoothly from the search for what we wanted, deciding upon a design, ordering and paying for two sash windows. They were installed with the minimum of disruption, on the day appointed and within the timescale suggested. The installers were all very helpful, covered all surfaces on the stairs and in the rooms where the windows were to go, worked tidily , left things clean and were even prepared for the rain that fell. good follow up and attention throughout the whole process.

An extremely professional and helpful company with every member of the team from the start to the end of the process fantastic. They listened to my requests and have changed two french doors with side half windows into to two french doors with full length side panels which has totally transformed our view of the garden. High recommend using oak, as even though it was far more expensive the gain really comes out in the finish of the wood. Will definitely only use this company for windows in the future.

We recently had new wooden doors and windows fitted. Due to the fact that they were bespoke, we had to wait 12 weeks for them , but they were well worth the wait. Derwent Sash Windows Ltd did a beautiful job: neat, fast and professional. I chose Derwent Windows because they have a reputation for quality. I liked the fact that I could look around the showroom before I ordered. I wanted a traditional wooden stable door for the back of my old cottage to replace a hideous upvc door fitted by a previous owner. I also wanted modern locking and security. I also wanted a big window in the top half so I can see my garden. The door is completely bespoke, basically I could have what I wanted. It's made of engineered hardwood, has an impressive 30 year guarantee against rot and will outlast me I'm sure. The surveyor came out to measure up and advise me on a few things I hadn't thought about. The door was fitted on schedule and without fuss in quite a tricky, wonky space. It looks great and has put all the character back into my cottage. Definitely recommend DSW.

This is the second time we've used Derwent Windows. Last year bedroom windows were replaced and we really noticed the difference over the cold winter. Now we've had landing, bathroom and kitchen. New French Doors fitted. They were there at 7.30 and finished by 10.00. We got home from work and the only way we could tell they had been, was the new doors. No mess that we could see at all. Derwent Windows came when they said they would, they prepared each room in turn with thorough dust protection and worked in a brisk and professional manner. The staff were friendly, co-operative and extremely professional. The finished product looks very impressive and the sound and heat insulation is much better than the old and compromised original double glazing. Derwent are not the cheapest company, but now I would use none other for windows and doors. The whole team are highly professional and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. This was apparent from the beginning to the end of my dealings with them- from my first visit to the lovely showroom, the visits from Alister and then Andrew, the surveyor, to the hardworking fitters themselves- all were great and Douggie was a star when he came back to fit my front door! The service from the office staff was equally good. I had Evolution flush windows and a timber door fitted at my home. I am absolutely thrilled with them and they look great. Additionally, the difference in sound reduction and heat retention is amazing. I have since had a front door fitted at another property and my tenant is thrilled with it too. We ordered our backdoor through Derwent Sash Windows. We didn't look elsewhere because visiting their showroom we knew that they would do a good job, at a reasonable price. It was evident from their customer service which was authentic and honest. Prior to the install, the measuring up was completed quickly and with friendly staff, and on the day of installation it was a joy to chat with such a great fitter. He did a perfect job in awful weather. I can't believe how clean the job was! We'll definitely get the rest of our windows and doors from here.

After visiting the showroom, my partner and I were blown away with how professionally it is all set out, with first class personal customer service, with the team there listening to what we wanted as opposed to telling us what they could do ..... overall very impressed.... We've had four new windows in our post war semi detached house replaced with Evolution flush windows from Derwent and couldn't be more pleased. We didn't want that brilliant gloss look of what many people have have when they get new windows. We wanted the traditional style. And now they look great. We've had a number of complements. The window cleaner says they look like wood! Yes they were more expensive but they're worth it. All dealings with Derwent windows staff was professional, efficient but friendly. I must mention the fitters who were excellent. Punctual, hard working, ensured everything in the room was covered and cleaned up everything. We would use them again when we look to replace our downstairs windows. Would strongly recommend the company.

We ordered 2 new wooden sliding sash windows to replace some which were badly made about 7 years ago by a local joiner, and also a fixed window which was rotten. We went to the showroom and looked at the windows which seemed to be good quality, and placed our order. The fitters came on the planned date, and even though we had cleared the area and put down dust sheets, they covered everything. The windows were fitted and finished in a day, they were very organised and tidy, and friendly. I would have no hesitation using Derwent Sash Windows again. We know that the 4 large sash windows on the front of our house will need replacing!

We have used Derwent Sash Windows to replace all our original Sash windows, and their quality of work, product and service was excellent. The windows themselves look amazing and feel really substantial. The fitters not only did a great job putting the windows in, but they also left everything really tidy, the mess was cleaned up - unlike other tradesman we have had in - we cannot fault them on any level. These windows have been worth every penny, we highly recommend them.

A good experience from the initial visit to their excellent showroom, through the measuring and fitting. By no means the cheapest, but the windows are the best that I have seen, and the only ones which suit our old house. Widows look to be well made, it remains to be seen how they stand up to the weather since they were only fitted today, however, I have no reason whatever to doubt them.

Derwent Sash have replaced every window in our Edwardian house and the original conservatory. This is not a regular window installation company, these guys are craftsmen. We took 3 quotes, all fairly similar...it is only when you get into the weeds on the detail of the window and the subsequent fit and finish internally and externally that you realise you have found the only company to trust your home with. The other 2 companies eventually withdrew their offers as the job was too difficult. A guy down the road used a regular window installer, same windows, crappy fit and finish, especially externally. Ours was a big job, huge original casements and sash windows were removed and replaced with Bygone Collection Sash and Evolution Casements. That was the bit anyone could do. The level of carpentry detailing to replicate window sills, architraves and plenty of other bits was astonishing. The conservatory was a rotten, leaky and cold a lean to, now it is the pride of the house, lovely and warm. We had a special extra wide Accoya door made to replicate the original. The whole things looks identical, but much better than the one next door. So we have a period house, now with the latest technology windows, installed stunningly. Noise reduction glass in the bedrooms kills all outside noise and the house is finally warm. And it looks just like it did before, Use them, trust them, they are worth it.

Once again Rob, Alistair and their excellent workmen have come up trumps! We cannot praise them enough. This time we had twenty two sash windows replaced, the first time it was twenty. The installation was completed with the absolute minimum of fuss and disruption. From our first contact to book the work to the last squirt of sealant everything was done to perfection. The lads on site were cheerful, polite and expert at what they did. By the end they felt like part of our family! Many thanks to all concerned. Never mind recommending this company to friends we would insist they use you!! Since completing the window replacement, Derwent have replaced our old porch, and are about to replace all our external gates and doors. We are certain that they will do a tremendous job, as they always have.
