Ian attended the property, promptly at the agreed time to resolve an issue with two leaking radiators. He drained the system, fitted upgraded valves and refilled the heating system. His work was very thorough and he tidied up after completing the work. He also explained the work. I would highly recommend Ian Devine to anyone who requires the services of a plumber.

Devine Plumbing refurbished our Scout Hut toilets with new urinals, sinks and a new cistern. As well as tiling. Started and finished the work on schedule. All the work was completed to a high standard. Ian consulted me before starting work to ensure what my exact requirements were and kept me informed on progress throughout. Ian was a pleasure to work with, highly recommended.

Just before Christmas I wanted a new radiator fitting. As a result of looking in Which?Local I contacted Devine Plumbing. Ian came to my house and gave me an estimate and advice on what type of radiator to get. With Christmas fast approaching I got the radiator and contacted Ian. He arranged a date for the work to be done, importantly for me, before Christmas. On the date arranged his engineer, Phil, arrived on time. He was a very clean efficient worker, cheerful and pleasant. He did an excellent job. I would not have any hesitation in using Devine Plumbing again and would recommend them confidently.

Ian came recommended to me by a friend. I contacted him to look at an urgent bathroom leak and he came the same day to take a look and to give me his professional opinion. He followed up with a comprehensive quote detailing a couple of options and then carried out the work shortly after. Ian Devine was recommended by a friend when I discovered a minor leak underneath the kitchen sink; something he fixed most satisfactorily. Some three years down the line, and just before this Bank Holiday, I had a major pipe burst behind the boiler on the ground floor quite late in the evening - water everywhere about an inch deep. I rang and he came round! I hadn’t really thought he would even answer the phone seeing it was ‘out of hours’ and was contemplating ringing the emergency services. He was unbelievably calm and professional in spite of the chaos he was presented with: stopping the water cascading, immobilising the gas and double checking all was safe. He was up front about when he would be available to undertake the necessary repairs due to work promised elsewhere, and then completed it within the promised time frame working round my child care commitments. He has replaced the wrecked boiler, removed the ancient water tank in the loft (an exceedingly old system which had been giving me nightmares for some time) and fitted a new boiler in an altogether more suitable area in the house. He also replaced radiators which were well past their sell by date. Very impressed with Devine Plumbing & Heating Services not only for the professional competence, fair price and guaranteed work but for the care and attention given to carrying it out. And eternally grateful for the initial ‘rescue’ response.
