We contacted Ian to arrange a replacement boiler. He provided us with excellent advice and guided us through the various options available. We had no problem arranging an installation date and were perfectly happy to leave Ian with a key to our house and for him to manage the installation while we were away on a short holiday. The installation went well, despite some access issues (which Ian sorted out really well for us) and was completed within the timescales quoted. The after-care has been great - Ian explained the controls and the maintenance schedule and registered the warrantee online for us as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ian for plumbing jobs large or small (this wasn't the first job he's done for us - and he has been consistently good).

Ian has helped me out with many plumbing emergencies over the years. He has also fitted a new bathroom for me and a new boiler when I moved house. He is always very reliable and friendly and he is flexible on times if you work long hours like I do. I would highly recommend him and his team!

Ian installed the new boiler at our previous property, and we were glad to ask him to fit a Worcester combi-boiler when we moved into our new house. We renovated the entire property, and as well as installing the boiler (re-sited to a new location from the old boiler), Ian fitted new radiators and pipework to serve the new layout. Ian came to the property at key stages to carry out different phases of the work, and his flexibility in making himself available to get to the site at times that coordinated with other tradesmen involved on the project really helped us in getting into the property before our Christmas deadline. I heard about Ian originally as a family recommendation, and I am happy to recommend based on the work he has done for us.

Ian first came to our property in September last year. Since that point he has removed our old heating system, removed old and disused piping, installed a new boiler and new heating system as well as installing new radiators in most rooms of the house. He has also plumbed in a new water connection for our washing machine as well as removing old waste pipe and installing a new plastic one. His work has been extensive and done to a high standard, if any problems arose with our house he quickly and calmly resolved them. He has always been honest with me and my partner and done whatever we have asked of him and done so to a high quality finish. We would recommend him to all our friends in a heartbeat, he has given us so many tips on how to take care of our boiler and our new system he has installed. His quotes are fair and you are paying for a master of his craft. If you want the job done properly he is your tradesman. He also likes coffee with a bit of milk in. Thanks for everything Ian.

Ian has helped me in total 3 times. The first 2 times were for leaks (internal), which caused a lot of damage. I had not used Ian before but he gave me excellent advice on the phone and was highly responsive in remediating the leak which he attended to in the evening of the same day. The 3rd occassion was for remediation (which became a re installation) of a Worcester gas boiler. Once again we were in a pickle ... this was a few weeks before Christmas without hot water and heating and the UK weather was extremely cold. Once again Ian was highly responsive and the boiler was installed with 2 days effort. In all cases I can say Ian has gone the exta mile and it is a pleasure to write this review and be able to give him the highest recommendation.

Ian was really helpful. He explained how to slow down the leak until he could visit. He came when he said he would. He fixed the problem. Very friendly and reassuring.

Ian correctly diagnosed that my toilet cistern was cracked. He ordered a new one for me and thoughtfully suggested a higher-than-normal one, given my osteoarthritis in my knees. It was fitted today and works perfectly. He cleaned up thoroughly and made sure that recyclable packaging went in the correct bin. Outstanding!

We have used Ian many times over the past decade for various jobs, so when it came to installing our recent combi boiler upgrade, we contacted him for a consultation/quote. On both days of the job Ian turned up on time, set his work up and promptly started. This man is a real grafter who has a professional attitude, and cares about his standards of work- some of the pipework he did under our kitchen worktop was seriously impressive. He is an amicable man, answered our plumbing questions with clarity, and kept us updated as the job progressed- he even did an extra job for us, (supplied & fitted a new radiator), which wasn't part of the original quote. He also cleaned up at the end of the job, removed the old items, and ensured all was ok. We highly recommend Ian for all aspects of plumbing work.

Ian and his team were great to work with. Ian provided a design service, and expertly installed and finished our bathroom. The quality of workmanship was really excellent, and I found him to be helpful, considerate and reliable. I'm very happy with the work Ian has done for me, he was able to schedule me in for the following day to complete two gas safety checks, despite having to change vehicles even to get to mine on the day and all for a very reasonable price. He arrived promptly and completed the work very thoroughly taking time to ensure I was aware of any issues and potential issues that could crop up. He clearly knows what he is talking about! Also, at the first property the gas safety shutoff tap was very stiff so he organised Transco to sort it out who were able to replace the valve within an hour on the same day free of charge. Ian is a friendly, straight talking chap who did a great job of replacing our 15 year old Ravenheat boiler with a new Worcester Bosch 30i. His quote was cheaper than 2 other which recommended local companies and was quickest to respond. Ian did a great job of making sure the position of the condensate drainage pipe was planned carefully and explained all the possible options for us well. The job was completed tidily and took about 1.5 days. He even spent a while debugging the Nest thermostat with me and would not leave until it was working correctly! Great service at a great price, would not hesitate to recommend these guys for boiler replacements.

Ian ran a gas line for me which can be used for a gas fire. He was quick to respond to me, came round to give a quote the next day and then did the work the following day. He was friendly and helpful, even giving me advice on my boiler too! He was thorough in his work and left everything tidy at the end.

For the last two years we have used this company for all our plumbing needs, including fitting a new boiler system and a complete bathroom renovation amongst other small jobs. They provide an unbeatable friendly service, and are always happy to help. Ian helped us completely transform our small bathroom based on a small rough sketch I had made. He worked with us to maximise the space and the results are beautiful, still looking brand new eighteen months on. Thankfully Ian himself organised an electrician and a masterful tiler to help him complete the job, which saved us the hassle of organising three different traders. Ian at least 7 years ago helped repair my shower. Since then he has put in a central heating system as I had electric storage heaters. Serviced the boiler each year, and last week after ordering a part for my gas fire got the part fitted and working. The shower touch wood is working fine. Happy with all his work and gets back to me when I ring him.

Ian was really helpful, trying to mend the leak, giving advice about what to do while I was away and then replacing the taps . He arrived when he said and cleaned up. The taps are fine.

One of my radiators wasn't heating up and after trying to troubleshoot it myself for hours, Ian came out and fixed it within a few minutes.

It was a pretty complicated job because I live in an apartment so it involved working at height and also needed to be completed to the highest standards to ensure it met all of the regulations and considerations of a communal building. The team offered me very sound advice and a number of options to consider for installation. They were professional, friendly and considered in their approach, consulting with me throughout. The installation was conducted professionally, efficiently and accurately. I now have a wonderful toasty-warm apartment and a secure and safe installation that meets all the necessary standards. I highly recommend this firm - they were even very lovely to my Staffie dog who was keen to get involved and check everything was on track!

Was given Ian's contact details via another plumber. He was fast, friendly and reliable. He fixed a leak from our bathroom to kitchen, then followed up plumbing the bath taps back in. He also gave me some tips on patching up the tiling. Was a great help and would recommend him to anyone that needs work doing. A very professional service.

We've just had a bathroom completely refitted by Ian Devine. We wanted to move the toilet, sink and radiator as well as install a shower enclosure. Along with changes to the hot and cold internal pipe work, this meant the ancient cast iron soil pipe would need removing, replacing and rerouting. Not an easy task. We contacted Ian Devine and from start to finish, he was great - thoroughly professional, knowledgeable and skilled. At the early planning stages he gave us advice and support. During the refit he explained every step as he went along, Afterwards, he visited to check everything was OK, The plasterers and tiler he called in were also top notch. We are delighted with the bathroom he's created for us.

Extremely competitive quote. 4 day complete installation including removal of industrial sized old hot air heating system. Really neat and considerate work with minimal disruption. Radiators look great and neat pipe work with minimal visible above the flooring. Came back promptly to finish last bits. Really happy with the work. Nice team and I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
