Gary installed a new shower for us. The work required the removal of existing tiling on one wall of our shower cubicle because a leak from an old shower valve had caused the wall to bend. Gary retiled the wall afterwards. He carried out the installation with great care and attention in a rather confined space. It was completed on time and on budget and we would have no hesitation in recommending him.

This last piece of work was a really speedy response and resolution of a bath blockage problem. Gary has done plumbing work for me for 10 years now. Most recently he renovated the bathrooms in my house. The work involved stripping out the old sanitary ware, moving pipework, laying underfloor heating, tiling and installing the new sanitary ware. Gary works hard & to very high standards. Gary completed a number of jobs in a Tenanted flat and communal area, following a site visit to agree solutions ; showeroom plumbing installations, sealant, fitting kitchen wall cupboards and correcting previous kitchen cupboards gap fault, boarding a storage cupboard. They did a really professional job from initial quote to saying when he was available and sticking to it, to advising on the toilets and other bits we needed, helping us find workarounds what would work, what wouldn’t so we’ve ended up with exactly what we wanted. Would really recommend.

It was a difficult situation as the leak was not coming from the cistern, the only part easily accessible and all the plumbing was hidden behind tiled walls. To find the source of the leak with minimal destruction of the existing tiling, one tile was carefully taken out below the sink and the wall-hanged toilet was removed . Once the source was identified, the defectuous part was immediately replaced. Gary then reinstalled the toilet and the missing tile with great attention to details such as the colour of the silicone sealant. The place was left as it was before his intervention. It was a difficult situation and Gary did an excellent work. He was prompt to intervene and explained very well the specific difficulties and the different options.

Gary did a great job with installing our water filter. He's done multiple jobs for us now and is always efficient, reliable and prompt.

Gary removed an old bathtub and pedestal sink, repaired and retiled in the area where the bath had been and installed a new vanity. He worked to schedule, starting when he agreed to start and finishing as planned. The job ran to budget. Gary was particularly helpful, a good communicator, tidy and considerate. I particularly appreciated that he was willing to work with my slightly complicated tiling design and the workmanship was very high quality.

I called Domine Plumbing when a stain appeared on the ceiling of my half basement dining room. We made an ointment for the day after next and Gary arrived promptly. He uncovered the leak in a section of lead piping and explained what needed to be done. He then exposed the entire length of piping which had been plastered into the wall in the under-stair cupboard. In the end he managed to thread new flexible piping through the existing conduit i the dining room and connect it to existing copper piping. He worked tidily and left the area he'd worked on free from debris and even dust. Courteous, clear and helpful (even warning me when when he opened a window, in case my cat make a break for it!) – definitely my go to plumber from now on.

Gary came to replace a bathroom basin. He was able to visit quite quickly and worked methodically and carefully to remove the basin and some tiles. He was easy to have around and communication was good. After this he remained available over a number of weeks while I sourced tiles etc. I was very happy with his work, would call on him again and would recommend him to others. His charges were within the usual London rates.

Some years ago Gary fixed a toilet which was flushing slowly . Recently I needed a dripping tap replaced and so I sought him out and was prepared to wait. He did a perfect job at a good price.

I have used Gary Elliott of Domino Plumbing for some years now to deal with various plumbing issues arising in my Putney flat which I let out to tenants. Gary is always quick to respond to a repair request. On this occasion, it was a leaky tap. He was bit longer than usual calling by this time, due to troubles with his van, but he came as soon as he could, arrived as promised, carried out the repair and left leaving no mess behind. He is a kind and polite contractor and a pleasure to deal with.

Gary arrived to do the job at the time arranged, did an efficient job, left no mess, and charged a fair price. We always ask Gary to do any plumbing work we require and have always been satisfied with his work.

We live in a big old house and I joked with Gary that we had 5 loos only 1 of which actually worked properly - Gary came to fix two of the others and had to make multiple visits to get the jobs done but now we have 3 working loos - hooray! Although very busy Gary kindly fitted in his visits, during evenings and on a weekend, in order that we didn't have to wait months to get the work done. He's a very tidy/clean plumber and does a very good job. Costs are not cheap but that was not a surprise - my understanding is that his rates are typical of good plumbers today. I will happily call upon him again, if/when in need, and just hope he's available.

Domine refitted an awkward old bathroom and created a lovely new shower room. Gary provided excellent service, from his initial visit and quotation to the final tidying up. He had clever suggestions to improve our design and fitted all the plumbing and associated decorations beautifully, taking on board all the constraints we imposed. He coped with difficulties in supplies of materials and unexpected pipework but kept to his originally quoted price.

They gave a very reasonable quote to install a bathtub in our wet room. He also fixed a broken tile and resealed the grout with mastic. He was on time and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend and hire him again!

Amazed. Everything was arranged via email. Gary ordered a complete bathroom suite based on a rough remit and then installed it on the date and within the timeframe planned. I limited the budget (rental property) but Gary installed everything with the same care and attention to detail that others might have reserved for a more expensive bathroom. Gary carried out a service of our three boilers and mended a dripping tap. He came as arranged, carried out the services and was helpful about bleeding the system, showing my daughter how to do it for herself . He also advised on how the system was working generally. Gary was brilliant. Job was removal of an old bathroom suite and installation of a new one - on the third floor of a house. The new bathroom has been fitted to an incredible standard and looks excellent. Gary went into extra effort when tiling, pointing out that wall of the bathroom was slightly warped. In addition, he was very tidy, laid down dust mats each day and left the place like he'd never been there - except for the lovely new, sparkling clean bathroom!

My small bathroom needed complete refurbishment. I obtained three estimates for the job but I chose Gary because his estimate was slightly cheaper and I liked his straightforward manner. The job included replacing a bath, shower, vanity unit, mirrored cupboard, radiator, vent as well as tiling and painting. The old plumbing was a mess and he sorted that out as will as replacing some old floorboards. I supplied all the new fittings. Gary removed all the rubbish. Old basin removed and new vanity unit installed and made good. Gary has tidied up the tiling around the new basin so it all looks new. He spent time aligning everything perfectly (old house, walls and floor all a bit crooked and no perpendicular lines). He installed new bath panels to match the vanity unit. It all looks really good, I am very pleased. He tidied and cleaned afterwards so it looked lovely straight away.

We had serious issues of washing machine and dishwasher 'backing up' into the sink. A good job of rerouting the waste and clearing the old pipes has solved the problem.

The flush of our toilet which was never particularly efficient, finally broke down. Gary supplied and replaced unit with new flush valves and now the toilet is working far better than it ever did before. Gary is a conscientious and reliable tradesman.

Had a leak from the hot water supply pipe in a solid floor so at short notice Gary set about tracking it down for repair. Despite a confusing layout, he was able to expose the leak enabling it to be sorted. He cleared away the mess and re-screeded the trench carefully, leaving the floor ready to accept a new covering. Gary recently undertook a fairly large repair job to our en-suite bathroom. The shower tray had been fitted by a previous contractor and the tray cracked, meaning we had to remove the screen, tiles and floor. The shower screen is floor to ceiling, and extremely heavy, and the walls tiled in marble - so we wanted to be sure that we got someone who new what they were doing, not just a plumber. The quality of his work is first class, he's very laid back, polite, stuck to programme and left the work area spotless.

Gary helped me again in fixing an issue at a rented property. He got back to me very quickly after I contacted him asking him to help and liaised with the tenant to arrange a time to get the work done.

Gary responded to my call for urgent help and came the same evening to assess the problem. He ordered a new pump online to get the best deal and fitted it just two days later, also after working hours on a Friday evening so that we would not be without the pump and therefore our washing machine over the weekend. Water dripping through the ceiling is always a worry. Gary quickly identified the likely cause and fixed the leaking sink tap with minimal disruption to the fixtures in the bathroom. The work took about 2.5hrs and Gary came in the evening, after his full working day, to help me out. The toilet couldn't be used and I needed it fixed before several guests arrived for Christmas.
