Nigel recently replaced two double glazed windows for us, one with a crack in it and 1 that was misting up. We have used Nigel to replace windows on previous occasions. Each time, he got back to us quickly with a very reasonable quote, turned up when he said he would (apart from one occasion, where there was an issue and he let us know in good time), was professional, friendly, efficient and cleaned up afterwards, sending a receipt through promptly. We have never had any problems after with any of the work Nigel has carried out and consider ourselves very fortunate to have him as a local trader.

I found I had a nightmare when I couldn’t close my kitchen window on Monday night. I had previously had Nigel work on a rental I use to own in Hyde, so had his number. Chanced my arm at texting him at 9pm, luckily he responded saying he could come round at 0845 the following morning. At 0846 (on the same day I was let down by Mr Damp Proof guy) Nigel turned up at my door! Within thirty minutes, he had put new hinges on the window, faster than a gun slinger at the OK Corrall! We've used Nigel several times over the past few years, to replace window locks, repair door lock mechanisms and replace double glazing units in existing windows. He always does a superb job and is friendly and great to chat to. I called him today to ask if he could look at a faulty window that wouldn't open, and within a couple of hours, he'd been over and fixed it. So in simple terms, I can't recommend him enough!

Nigel did a great job replacing some cracked double glazing in a large sash window. Company that fitted the window told me the whole unit needed replacing, quoting about £1000, while Nigel advised he could simply replace the pane for about a quarter of the price. Took a while to source the glass but worth the wait. Fitted with no fuss and no mess. Highly recommend Nigel!

He replaced a foggy triple glazed unit and addressed the seals on the outside (the units tended to "hoot" when the wind is a certain direction). Nigel replaced all the ‘blown’ double glazing glass units (24 in total) & replaced broken hinges on the front of our house. He was extremely professional, even insisting on re ordering 1 unit that had a very minor fault which was barely noticeable to us & did an excellent job, being prompt, tidy & very friendly. Nigel came to repair a Velux window where the inner pane broke in the middle of the night. He knew that there had been a fault recall of these windows several years ago - so he rang up Velux and now that window and another are being replaced FOC by Velux, saving us several hundred £'s !! Great service and I'd definitely recommend him if you have any glazing problems.
