DPR began trading in 1989 when Darren Rickett (MD), aged 22, bought an old Ford Escort van and some ladders. He had worked for his dads roofing business, since leaving school at 16, prior to this and during many school holidays and weekends, Darren also helped out labouring for his dads business to get extra savings to buy a car at 17 years old, which was his dream from a very young age.
Within 2 years of setting up on his own, he had 2 further employees and a 2nd van. DPR kept growing....The business now has 14 work vehicles of varying types and many on the books employees. They do not use sub contract labour as most other companies do. We pride ourself on quality works, by very polite staff and carried out safely, as much a must as a good job.

We had recently had our living room decorated when we noticed water getting in through the bay window roof. Darren and DPR were recommended to us, so we asked them to come out and provide a quote. Darren was working a few streets away at the time and explained the team could return the following week, as it was a relatively small job. We were happy with the price and appreciated his clear explanation and recommendation of a GRP roof solution. The team who carried out the work were polite, friendly and professional throughout. The job was completed efficiently and to a high standard. We are pleased that the roof is now fully waterproof and it has also noticeably improved the kerb appeal of our home. We would happily recommend DPR based on our experience.

We had DPR replace our fixture and soffits and fall pipes on our house. And I will say with most praise THAT THE work was completed on time along with all the and expertise and knowledge given by the 2personal who completed the whole project and the team of scaffolding team with the total respect and consideration towards my family. We have used DPR Roofing for many years on both our own home and my parents' house. Their work has always been of the highest standard, and they never compromise on health and safety, something I value just as much as quality workmanship. Most recently, in August, they installed a brand-new fibreglass roof on our kitchen extension. They even added an increased slope for improved water drainage, which was an unexpected but very welcome improvement. The finish is pristine, and the team were a pleasure to have around being punctual, polite, hardworking, and excellent at cleaning up after themselves. We were also provided with before-and-after photos, which was a great touch. I highly recommend the entire team, from the office staff to the chaps on the roof.

We have had a number of problems with water coming in to one of the bedrooms. DPR advised that to fully stop it we should renew our rear gutters and have an extra rear pipe fitted. We took this advice and have had absolutely no water ingress since, despite some torrential rain at times following the work. DPR workmen were efficient, polite and ensured we understood what they were doing and why. They cleared up immediately following the work (not something all workmen do in my experience) and told us to let them know if the problem was not solved. I fully trust them and would recommend them to anyone. I do not expect to need to call them back as the problem is FIXED!

DPR realigned my gutters which had dropped. They provided a detailed survey showing the planned work. They kept me informed of the work and timescales. There was a slight leak following the realignment and gutter clean which they returned to rectify and repair immediately. I would use them again and recommend them.
