We first came across Sean by seeing his garden gates with the lovely dragonfly engraving. We then discovered that he offered joinery services as well so we recruited him for our recent house renovation. It's a period property so we wanted to preserve as many features as we could. Sean did all manner of jobs on the house from coving to wooden flooring, boxing in, window frames and architraves to flipping old doors and building a stud wall with glass windows. Sean replaced our hideous ranch-fencing style staircase with a 1930s style one with turned spindles and a polished dark oak rail in keeping with the original design of our 1932 house. It looks amazing, absolutely what we wanted. He arrived on time each morning and cleaned up before he left in the evening. He also designed, built & fitted cupboards in our porch and re-organised the shelving in the under-stairs cupboard so we can easily access the meters & boiler. Highly recommended.

We found Sean through Which? Trusted Traders and we are so glad that we did! We needed two bookcases added either side of the chimney in our lounge and a cupboard installing in an odd bit of space at the top of our cellar steps. The age of the house means that there are almost no right angles anywhere - including between the floor and walls. Sean took it all in his stride and produced three perfectly sized (and beautiful) pieces of furniture. He is very professional and friendly, turns up when he says he will, gives great advice, and his work is fairly priced and of exceptionally high quality. We can't recommend him enough. In fact, we are already planning our next project with him!

We specified which doors and ironmongery we wanted and Sean at Dragonfly gave a competitive quote for the work and started the two day job about four months after we accepted the quote. We were happy to wait till Sean could fit us in and he advised that we pay for the materials soon after confirming the order (approximately seventy five percent of the quote) in case of a Howdens price increase. Sean collected the materials and they were stored in our garage until he came on the promised date to do the work. Sean covered everything over in the rooms that he worked and his work was very tidy and clean. We now have seven beautiful internal doors (four solid, three glazed)with chrome ironmongery and although the doors were factory primed, there is no rush to finish painting them because Sean left them in such a good, clean and tidy condition. I wouldn't hesitate to use Sean at Dragonfly again for Joinery works.

Dragonfly Design Interiors refitted our bedroom with new wardrobes, bedside cabinets, cupboards and a chest of drawers. The work was carried out by Sean, the proprietor, who is a skilled woodworker. He worked carefully and precisely and we are delighted with the result. Beforehand, Sean was always available to discuss what needed to be done and made some good suggestions for the overall layout of the room. The work started on the arranged date and it was carried out on time and to the agreed price; there were no 'extras'. Sean replaced our wooden bannister with a glass and oak balustrade. Due to COVID, the job was spread over a number of months. However Sean worked around the difficulties this created for us, never losing his focus and communicating with us on a regular basis. He is very skillful and thoroughly professional tradesman who did what he said he was going to do, when he said he would do it and with painstaking attention to detail. The end result is magnificent and a showpiece for our home.

Sean from Dragonfly Interiors designed a dressing room for us with fitted wardrobes, mirrors, shelving and dressing table. It is stunning and we are delighted with his work. We thoroughly recommend him.

Sean has completed a couple of jobs for us. One was putting in an oak office desk and one was putting in fitted wardrobes. He did an excellent job on both occasions. I’ll definitely be asking him back if we need to. Always very professional.

We hired Sean to build a cupboard and bench in our hallway as well as hang some upstairs doors. We were really please with all of Sean’s work and absolutely love our new cupboard and bench. I got Dragonfly back to do some general work as a result of building renovations. I wanted to use Sean as a result of working with him previously. He'd previously installed a cloakroom, bathroom cabinet and storage for the children's playroom. The work is beautiful and the rooms left clean. Sean works alongside you to ensure you get what you want this includes recommendations for wood, etc.

We have used Dragonfly now on two seperate occasions and we find them excellent. They first came and fit us some Kitchen worktops last year and we recently had them in to fit a staircase and banisters etc. We would highly recomment them.
