I called in the morning and he arrived mid-afternoon to sort out a blocked external drain. He accurately assessed the problem and dealt with it quickly and effectively. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Contacted via website regarding a blocked drain and received a prompt email reply and an appointment the next day. Ken cleared the blockage and excavated much of the gravel that was obstructing the flow. Altogether very satisfactory and reasonably priced.

I contacted Ken to arrange a pre purchase cctv survey. This turned out to be quite complicated and revealed some issues that needed dealing with including flushing, clearing, repairs and rebuilding of manhole chamber wall.. Our kitchen sink was not draining properly and it became clear from the external gully that our drain needed to be cleared. We contacted Ken and he arrived at the time we had agreed and quickly set to work. After opening the manholes he identified where the blockage was located and set up the high pressure hose which he operated from his van. The blockage was cleared within what appeared to be seconds and the waste water etc began to flow again. He then managed to lift the cover which was fitted over the gully. This was no mean feat. I had tried to lift this last year but it was stuck fast and I had no success. Ken persisted and was able to release it, albeit after some minutes. He then cleared a mound of sludge from the gully. I was amazed to see how much there was as we are careful not to let fat or solid kitchen waste get into the drain. Job done, Ken packed his gear up and was off. He is a fast worker and knows this sort of job inside out. We are very happy with the result and would definitely use him again.

We needed a CCTV inspection of our main drain in case there was a leak. Ken not only did the CCTV efficiently which confirmed that there was no leak, which is what he suspected when he made the initial inspection, but he also cleared an obstruction. All to a very reasonable budget. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I rang Drain Catt on Monday morning, he said he would come along in the afternoon. I had an ongoing blockage in drains/main soil stack. Ken quickly and successfully dealt with the blockages (others hadn't) and also returned yesterday to deal with the glug glugging from the wash hand basin (associated with the blockages). - Ken was professional , honest and extremely competent. The problem: standing water in two manholes, one in the front garden and the other in the back garden, plus a sometimes slow-draining and smelly kitchen sink. Ken arrived an hour or so after I phoned him, and had discovered the blockage (a buildup of limescale at the exit from the main manhole) within minutes. He cleared this, as well as scale that was starting to build up elsewhere. He made sure everything was running freely from all waste outlets. Brilliant. And, very importantly, his charge is very reasonable, compared with two other exorbitant quotes I'd got (one from a Which Trusted trader). I highly recommend him.

Stuck with standing water in two drains between Christmas and New Year and wondering how we'd manage. When Dyno-Rod quote you double the price and expect you to sit in the entire day to wait for them, whilst watching your waste pipe pour out horrid stuff on to your lawn and being unable to use your loo or washing machine whilst waiting, CALL DRAIN CATT! One phone call to explain the gravity of the situation and someone turns up when they said they would withing two hours. Impressive job done, problem explained and a sensible bill which got paid on the spot.

Chose this service as it was local and not part of a chain. He rang me back very quickly, agreed a time and arrived ahead of schedule. All good. Looked at my drains, gave good advice and took action as necessary. Would definitely recommend - he clearly has years of experience.

For years we've suffered slow running and blocked kitchen sink, various plumbers have tried to no avail. Whilst looking for a 'drain' expert who could do a full CCTV scan of our entire drain system, I came across this amazing company via Checkatrade. Ken came round and after three hours hard graft trying different things, he sourced and fixed the problem and we have free running water in our kitchen sink following a jet wash of our main external manhole and clearing out years' worth of fat. I was impressed by his call to me (via Checkatrade) and, as he is local to me, he offered to pop round to see if he could solve it without the expense of CCTV scan. Highly recommend this great company.

Can't thank Kenneth enough for sorting out my blocked drain problem. He used simple solution to sort out the issue . Home care guys rejected the issue of blocking and Kenneth sorted it . He wa very nice polite and very skillful. I will highly recommend him.
