We were impressed from start to finish with our interactions with Alex regarding our blocked drain. He was professional and responsive, explained what he was going to do with the CCTV and what he found. As well as doing a great job, it was a pleasure to have Alex on the premises. This is the second time I've used Alex in four years to clear a blocked drain and the first thing to say is that he's a really nice, friendly guy. He knows what he's doing, does it with a smile on his face and is thoroughly professional. Today, he took one look and despite the drain being more severely backed up than we suspected, he just got on with it and stuck to the pre-agreed, very reasonable price. And he didn't just do the bare minimum, he went out of his way to trim some roots that were contributing to the blockage, without any fuss or talk of paying him extra. Other traders might have left those so they could get more work in the near future. He says he's been clearing drains for 20 years and I think that shows.

Had a blocked drain. They arrived on time, sorted the problem effectively and efficiently, checked it was all working and cleaned up afterwards! Would definitely use again.

Alex was the third person I had to call out for drainage problems and bad smells. He carried out camera work and jetting . He was the only person who really solved my drainage issues and it was a difficult time when you have bad smells in your home. I thoroughly recommend him. He is honest and polite.

I phoned 1st thing this morning and got a call back very soon after. He arranged to visit between 2/3pm today and quoted a price. He arrived as planned. We had a blocked drain which he efficiently dealt with and was very helpful. He even checked with a neighbour to make sure her toilet/taps were working ok before he left. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

Alex was an absolute dream! Having called at 6pm on Wednesday about getting a drain survey for a property we're looking to purchase - he was able to move some things around and fit us in by 9.30am the following morning to ensure we kept our journey to exchange on track. I would highly recommend this company. They turned up prepared and carried the work out to a high standard. Every action they took was explained thoroughly in laymen’s terms and the reason for it. Also, they were polite and friendly. After finishing they left the area tidy. Job well done.

Due to some unpleasant smells I contacted Alex and arranged a date for a drain survey. This was carried out when Alex was keen to show me what the camera was highlighting so I could see the problem for myself. Having finished the survey, they then flushed the drain to remove debris. Alex explained what repair work was required for which he provided a quote. This then carried out a couple of weeks later for the agreed price.

Had an awful odour coming through our sink and shower drain in one of our bathrooms. Alex attended promptly as arranged, did a diagnostic and gave his honest feedback. Suggested options and I felt fully informed. There was no undue pressure at any stage. After Alex attended on another day, jet-washed our drains and the odour has vanished! Really pleased with the service received. Mine wasn’t a straightforward problem due to access but Alex and his colleague did everything they could and went out of their way to resolve the issue and were successful in unblocking the pipes and drain. I called Alex to unblock a drain at my elderly mother's house. He came the following day and used a high pressure jet to unblock it, also analysing what the likely problem is (roots in drain). He and his coworker were polite and efficient. Fair price.

Alex came and cleared our blocked drains. Quick turnaround from getting in contact. Good price and helpful advice about managing issues and likely costs of further remedial work if required in the future. No qualms about recommending to others.

Alex came to look at my blocked gully which I thought needed repair. He cleaned it, then put a camera down and showed me that there was cement at the bottom of the gully, and leaking joints, as well as the broken drain that I could see. He quoted me a price, and did the job over two days, well within the time he said it would take. Everything was finished to a high standard and there was no mess, although he had to dig a trench. Rubble was taken away and I now have peace of mind. Alex is efficient and courteous, helpful without being pushy, and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Alex and his colleague were excellent, they turned up as expected to camera my drains and were thorough in their work with a genuine desire to resolve the issue for me. I would 100% recommend Alex at Drainflow Services. Yesterday he changed a soakaway from draining into my garden to drain into the main sewer. This is not the first time Alex has put in new sewer pipes and drains for me, he also did sewer works for two new toilets earlier this year. On both occasions I was really pleased with how neat and tidy the jobs were done. He was really precise cutting through the existing concrete, only channelling out the absolute necessary space for the work to be done. The concrete that was laid afterwards when the new pipes were in had been done perfectly. I didn't have to wait long for either the quote or the work to be done. The quote was better than expected on both occasions. The clearing up after the work was excellent. Everything was left neat and tidy, the left over rubble was bagged and stacked aside safely and collected this morning. There was no extra clearing or cleaning for me to do. Alex is a very pleasant cheerful man and just gets on with the job in hand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone in the future.

The external drain collecting the outflow from my kitchen and that of a neighbour was overflowing. I called Drain Flow Services as we previously had tree roots breaking into the drains and obstructing them. Alex visited the next day and cleared the blockage. A CCTV inspection of the pipes confirmed that they were intact and unaffected by roots. The team were efficient and friendly. The work was explained and the video of the pipes was played back to me. The price was clearly explained as was the cost of the CCTV inspection, which was done at my request. I had a problem with rattling pipes in my bathroom, which Alex looked at free of charge and identified as being due to a u-bend drying out.
