When a low-level pitched bay roof on my Edwardian terraced house began seriously leaking I consulted Which? Trusted Traders and obtained a quick response from Dudley & Co. Steve visited to appraise the situation and determined that the roof needed completely renewing and that overflowing high-level guttering also needed replacing. After I accepted his quotation, Steve was able to fit in the work over the following two weeks, during which it was found that the wooden framework supporting the roof was completely rotten and also needed to be replaced. I accepted his revised quotation, which I considered very fair, and the work, including the replacement and rejigging of the high- and low-level guttering and down-pipes, was completed by his hard-working team to my complete satisfaction, and in keeping with the age and design of the property. The quality of the result is nothing short of excellent and I would recommend Dudley & Co. for such work without hesitation.

The initial Drone Survey Report was so concise, thorough and detailed as it identified the cause of the leaking roof, in addition to other roof problems. Even for a layman, like me, I understood the photos and video! Dudley carried out all of the major works on my roof (broken tiles and moss cleaning), in addition to replacing all gutters, weatherproofing and repainting the exterior front house. The house now looks absolutely amazing and the quality of workmanship shines through! What a makeover! Based on my whole experience, I can honestly say that Dudley are true Professionals and lived up to their excellent reputation. Pricing was reasonable. Communication with Natalie was prompt! Every team member; Steve, Tom and Rob, was reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and more importantly, they cared about my property. They were extremely organised, worked efficiently within planned timescales (despite the awful weather) and cleaned up! Steve and his team did a great job replacing the roof and guttering on an outbuilding. The job was well organised, everyone was very hard working, polite and helpful, they cleared up each day, removing all the debris. Steve had a problem-solving attitude, was easy to contact and was responsive. He provided a written estimate and before and after photos of the work. Natalie in the office was friendly and very efficient. Steve was recommended by a couple of people in my street and I would definitely recommend him.

After lots of vague quotes and ghosting by other traders, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Steve and his team. From start to finish they were very professional and communication was clear throughout. I was very happy with the work they completed - fitting a large roof light, reinforcing joists, sealing and getting roof, repositioning lights and plastering. They cleaned up well after every visit and were all polite, friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely use them again for any roof related issues. Following a water leak through our roof, we tried to obtain the services of a roofer nearby. I consulted Which Trusted trader and Checkatrade. Dudley and Co Ltd responded promptly with a reasonable quote and prospective dates to do the work. I was anxious that a further leak might damage the structure of our home so they arranged a rapid response and called this morning. Steve gave me notice on the phone that he was coming. He arrived at the appointed time. He was careful and considerate about our property. He immediately found the problem and competently set out to repair the cracked tiles. He also obligingly removed some of the moss on the surrounding tiles. All the waste (old tiles and moss) was placed into a paper bag for disposal. Very pleased with the job. I would highly recommend this company.

Steve and Rob, with others, repaired my main roof earlier this year and replaced a flat roof on a back extension last month. Can't fault their professionalism and good natured attitude. I really appreciated them fitting me in so quickly on the recent, emergency flat roof replacement, between other jobs. Proper job done and am very grateful. We had a problem with both our flatroof and overflowing guttering, causing rain to leak through into our property. We left a voicemail message for Steve, who popped round the same day to inspect the works. Steve was busy, however, he adjusted his schedule to fit us in. The weather was appaling, heavy snowfall, Steve however continued to work throughout. Excellent communication both from Steve and his admin team. We had a problem with the extractor pipe of our bathroom fan, the sealant was defective, leading to lots of water running into the fan. Steve was super easy to communicate with and was able to fit us into our schedule immediately. He was very nice, showed me exactly what he was doing, found the problem and fixed it. I will definitely hire him again. He is very easy to talk to and knew exactly what he was doing.

Steve and the team undertook some flashing and roof repairs to a block of residential student accommodation. He was clear and concise about the work that needed to be done offering a range of options.
