We needed roof vent tiles fitted. Dan was just what we needed, fast on response, direct to the point, reliable, professional and clear on what we could expect. Very happy with the work carried out. We contacted Dan to install a cloakroom vanity unit, basin & tap. He replied literally within a minute with a date and time. Turned up bang on time and fitted everything within a couple of hours. The quality of work was superb and we can't recommend DW highly enough. Polite, very courteous and respectful of our property too. It's true, if you want the best, go with a Which Trusted Trader.

The work was undertaken on the arranged date and communication throughout was very good. The work was carried out to a high standard and efficiently. Dan also repainted the fire coals and fire backing which I really wasn’t expecting and made a big difference to the appearance of the fire which was looking a bit tired. He was also thorough in ensuring that the room was clean and tidy after the work was completed. Dan is friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend.

Dan has done an excellent job installing a flue liner for our open fire. We had our first fire last night and it was great. No problems at all. He arrived as promised, dust sheared everywhere, respected our property and did an amazing job. Really nice to work with. 100% recommend him. Dan, removed my old small radiator and replaced it with a larger one. Upon his initial visit he removed my old radiator and was asked to return the following day providing me time to prepare the walls before fitting the new one. He was more than happy to do so. He was polite informative and left the job exceptionally professional done. The price was a lot lower than other quotes

So glad I have found an honest and reliable Plumber. Will never call anyone else. Six plumbers have looked at my Shower and have either never got back to me or told me what a big job it is going to be. On this occasion we needed to have a kitchen tap replaced and called Dan as he is our first port of call having used his services for many years, we are thankful to have such a friendly, reliable, professional contractor with great attention to detail available to us. We've employed Dan on multiple occasions in recent years (due to home moves to property that needed major upgrades) that includes boiler upgrade (Vaillent x 2), Victorian Arch Balanced Flue fireplace and mantel installation (x 2) and complete bathroom renovations ( x 3) including full redesign, tiling etc. The work has been complete to a very high standard and always leaving us with the 'wow factor' and beautiful for us to enjoy in our home. We have had a terrible small leak causing issues for a number of months and previously had several companies out to explore the problem. After a small visit to the house, Dan identified the root cause of the issue and provided a detailed explanation as to the problem and the issues it had caused, then immediately took time to fix the solution. Pleasingly Dan kept in touch over the coming days to ensure we had no further issues and the problem had remained resolved. I would 100% recommend for any type of service.

I hired Dan to fit a water supply and drainage system for our Summer house/salon in the garden. His work is extremely neat 👌🏻 pipes are insulated and his work and professionalism are on point. It's so good to find a good honest tradesman with reasonable prices and good quality of work. I 100% recommend Dan and have just booked another job in with him for a boiler service. DW serviced our three gas fires, fitted a flu liner and fixed our chimney. Dan was responsive and courteous. I felt the quote was very reasonable and was impressed with his service. Everything quoted for was completed to a high standard and they went above and beyond to get everything completed in a timely fashion, despite circumstances outside their control. They were respectful of my house, leaving it spotless and I was delighted with how they were able to get our old Victorian fires that had never been used, fully working and looking brand new. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Hired Dan following a search on Which and HETAS website, for HETAS approved installer. Dan did a great job, supplying fitting and installing the multifuel wood burner and dealing with the existing pipework at a competitive price. Looking forward to using the Woodburner later in the year.

Dan removed the existing shower bath and fitted a new walk-in shower including removal of existing wall tiles and retiling. He also replaced a faulty stop cock. The work was done to a high standard, existing carpets in the hallway were protected and the workspace was cleared on completion of the job. All of the work was done in-line with the original estimates

DW did an excellent job fitting my boiler, including relocating it to a different position in the kitchen. The work was performed quickly and was tidy when finished. I also had a new stopcock tap fitted in my shed which included reconnecting an old blanked-off redundant pipe. Dan did an excellent job which had proven to be more challenging than originally expected (including digging out concrete to establish a leak-free connection). I would highly recommend DW to anyone.

I called with a problem and was given a time slot for work to commence and even though it was not urgent it was next day between 1300 and 1500. I received a message from Dan at 1300 to say they were on their way to me. They arrived within 10 minutes and were a Very friendly and very professional service. Dan and Martyn have just finished refurbishing my bathroom. They replaced my old space saver bath and shower with a walk in shower, retiled both the bathroom walls and floor, also fitting a new washbasin tap. Dan answered my initial e-mail enquiry promptly and fixed up a time to view the job. He offered advice on the project and the finished result is exactly as I was expecting. The quality of the plumbing work and tiling is excellent. All the rubbish was removed when the work was finished. The price I paid was the price quoted, despite needing some work to replace a few rotten floorboards.

I can certainly recommend Dan and Bryan who both went above and beyond. The underfloor heating was to be fitted in my conservatory which contains 50 plus plants along with several pieces of furniture. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to have the room emptied. This did not deter them and they moved the contents into my living room in a very short space of time. The orginal flooring was removed, and the underfloor heating was fitted perfectly. I am looking forward to spending more time in my conservatory during the autumn and winter knowing I now have an efficient heating system.

I recently employed this company, ie. Dan Woods, to complete several plumbing jobs for me. The jobs involved were, re-fitting an en suite bathroom, re-fitting a cloakroom, plus, several additional plumbing jobs. I found Dan easy to deal with and very pleasant on all occasions. The same can be said for the additional tradesmen he needed to use for the work involved. His work was completed efficiently and when problems presented themselves, they were dealt with to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with the standard of Dan's work and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others, or using him again.

We hired Dan to completely overhaul our bedroom en-suite based on the quality of his previous jobs, and we weren't disappointed. We gave him a house key and let him organise the project in his own time. One of the key improvements Dan made was to divert the waste water beneath the floor (as originally it was fed around the room edge and boxed in), and this made a huge difference to the end finish. Dan organised and liaised with his tiler (who did an amazing job with a large 1.2m tile), and installed a new shower, tray and wet room screen. Dan even came up with the goods in terms of the little details which made a big difference to the finishing. During the whole project, the stairs carpet was protected and the room left tidy at every stage of the job. We're so pleased, we've asked Dan to revamp our main bathroom in the Summer.

Dan has recently renovated my downstairs cloakroom by replacing the existing toilet and sink and installing a shower. I am delighted with the results! Dan never left a mess behind at the end of the day, he arranged for other trades ie plasterer and tiler to attend when required and the price quoted initially was the price I actually paid. I am happy to recommend his work.

Dan was great from start to finish. Arrived on time and when stated. Fair and transparent pricing. I had a chimney lined which was no doubt a messy job however, my home was left spotless.

I found Dan from Which?, so contacted him to disconnect my mum’s washing machine after I had had a negative (and wet!) experience, disconnecting one before where the isolation valve, unknown to me, wasn’t working! Dan turned up promptly, and offered an honest steer as to what the best course would be; he quickly sorted it; efficient and affable - would definitely engage him again and would recommend him.

We have recently had a full bathroom/wetroom fitted. The original bathroom was stripped back and we had a walk in shower, new vanity unit plus sink, new toilet and radiator fitted. The bathroom was completely re-tiled - floor and walls and a new ceiling and spots fitted. I can not recommend Dan enough. The quality of the job was excellent. The tiler was exceptional and we even had new electrics fitted to comply with regulations. All work was completed to the timeline agreed and Dan came back to fit accessories with no complaint. All work was completed in a clean and efficient manner. The team were friendly and polite. We cannot recommend his services enough - you won't be disappointed.

We had issues with a previous builder who botched our bathroom refurb last year, much to our dismay. Dan came out to inspect as we developed a leak and he was truthful about the previous poor workmanship and gave us an extremely reasonable quote to fix our shower! He sorted this problem and resealed everywhere to a much better standard, I’m just sorry we didn’t get him to do the whole bathroom. Thanks so much
