DW serviced our three gas fires, fitted a flu liner and fixed our chimney. Dan was responsive and courteous. I felt the quote was very reasonable and was impressed with his service. Everything quoted for was completed to a high standard and they went above and beyond to get everything completed in a timely fashion, despite circumstances outside their control. They were respectful of my house, leaving it spotless and I was delighted with how they were able to get our old Victorian fires that had never been used, fully working and looking brand new. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

We contacted Dan to install a cloakroom vanity unit, basin & tap. He replied literally within a minute with a date and time. Turned up bang on time and fitted everything within a couple of hours. The quality of work was superb and we can't recommend DW highly enough. Polite, very courteous and respectful of our property too. It's true, if you want the best, go with a Which Trusted Trader.

Had my old run down bathroom totally ripped back to brick and new bathroom fitted by these guys. Had plumbing, electrics and tilling trades which were co-ordinated well by Dan who also did all the ripping out and plumbing. Electricians did a great job putting new wiring for my mirror, a new fan repositioned and new spotlights fitted. The tiler Martyn was incredible (already passed his details to a friend- so impressed) he did an amazing job and kept me informed on decisions whilst working through, great guy, went out of his way to get the job done and managed all my requests so well. After the whole rip out Dan fitted all the bathroom fittings (shower, cubicle, sink, toilet, radiator etc) and completed the plumbing which looks amazing- great job Dan. Only one thing with my materials, the mirror had a small chip on it which was a shame but overall look and job by these guys was 5 stars. Time-wise we went into another week but that was a mutual decision and quality of job was high on the agenda for both of us (was only a few days extra no big deal). The guys work with you on what you want and listen well. They don’t stop either and keep the job moving forward. Clean and tidy and respectful of my home too with all rubbish and waste removed safely and responsibly. Thanks guys love the bathroom. If you are considering getting your bathroom done give these guys a call.

DW Plumbing and Heating fitted a fire for me and did a brilliant job. Daniel and Andy were friendly, professional, and took the time to really listen to what I wanted. You could tell they genuinely cared about doing a thorough job and making sure I was happy with the result. The work was finished to a high standard, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Good, reliable tradespeople are hard to find, and Daniel and Andy are exactly that. I’d happily recommend them.

Great New Bathroom

We have recently had a full bathroom/wetroom fitted. The original bathroom was stripped back and we had a walk in shower, new vanity unit plus sink, new toilet and radiator fitted. The bathroom was completely re-tiled - floor and walls and a new ceiling and spots fitted. I can not recommend Dan enough. The quality of the job was excellent. The tiler was exceptional and we even had new electrics fitted to comply with regulations. All work was completed to the timeline agreed and Dan came back to fit accessories with no complaint. All work was completed in a clean and efficient manner. The team were friendly and polite. We cannot recommend his services enough - you won't be disappointed.

The work was undertaken on the arranged date and communication throughout was very good. The work was carried out to a high standard and efficiently. Dan also repainted the fire coals and fire backing which I really wasn’t expecting and made a big difference to the appearance of the fire which was looking a bit tired. He was also thorough in ensuring that the room was clean and tidy after the work was completed. Dan is friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend.

ADW have installed two fireplaces for us and we have been pleased with the installation, however, the second fireplace needed some minor alterations which at the time, ADW agreed to come back and complete for a nominal fee. After a lot of chasing, we finally managed to book them in to do the work. The day arrived and despite waiting in all day, nobody showed up. We contacted them in the evening only to be told they were delayed on another job. We had a decorator booked in the following week which we had to cancel due to them not turning up. Despite contacting ADW on numerous occasions to try to re-arrange a date for the work to be completed, they will now not return calls or texts which is disappointing.

We find this review very unfair as both fireplaces were installed and as usual to a very high standard. The "minor' alteration was that the customer wanted us to remove (a week after it was installed) and cut down the stone mantlepiece for them as they thought it was too big - the customer bought this mantlepiece themselves off the internet. We were paid just to install it The customer was advised that it was not something we can do as it's a specialist job and a stone mason type of trade should be able to assist them with The fireplace showroom whom we got the job through also spoke to the customer and told them it wasn't a job they or us do or have done in the past. I was told by the showroom not to worry about it as the customer understood We always do our best to help/assist our customers after a job has been completed. That's why we get repetitive customers & recommendations

I will keep this as fair as possible but Unfortunately I’m gutted to say we’re highly disappointed overall. We have been left with a functional bathroom that looks aesthetically pleasing. The company were relatively professional and clean and did a large proportion of the work whilst we were on holiday with reasonable communication. We have had numerous problems which I think are generally unacceptable. We’ve never had an apology for any inconvenience or issues caused which is strange in my opinion. But Danny, to his credit, has returned it must be over 10 times to resolve various issues I’ll briefly mention below. We paid a significant sum for our bathroom and from what should have been an October finish took 5 months to fully rectify issues. - Dinted ceiling x2, scratched bath, scratched shower, leaking shower, scratched toilet seat, poor silicone finish in numerous areas with some areas completely absent. Tiling/Grout - This isn’t necessarily the direct fault of this company however you pay them for the job and they sub contract people in. So they are responsible for the whole job in its entirety and should it’s done to the correct standard. But There are without doubt issues here. The grout in our bathroom rubs out like dust. It won’t take any sort of cleaning without running away down the drain. Have asked advice recently on how to clean without destroying the grout and the response was “don’t know”. Unfortunately can’t recommend

Thanks for leaving your review. I appreciate all feedback as it helps me improve my work. I’d like to clear up a few things about the job and how the problems were sorted. The bathroom was actually finished in 12-13 working days from start to finish, not 5 months as mentioned. I always do my best to fix any issues that come up. When we spotted the dent in the ceiling after I’d finished, I came back and replaced that bit for free. The shower had a fault from the manufacturer, so I got a replacement from my suppliers and fitted it at no cost. When you told me about the scratches on the bath and panel, I paid £135 for a specialist to come out and repair them properly. I replaced the toilet seat when you mentioned it was scratched. I came back to do the silicone work where it was needed, and my tiler returned to redo all the grouting in the bathroom for free. I also replaced a wall tile that had a tiny manufacturing flaw at no charge. You were happy with each repair when I finished it, and I came back about 15 times to sort things out, including answering messages and calls outside normal hours. I know things can go wrong on any job, but what matters is putting them right quickly. My 145 five-star reviews on Which? Trusted Traders show that I stand behind my work and look after my customers properly. This was a job that had a few snags and I done my best to rectify them as quickly as when they arose
Unusable shower

After getting a quote and paying a 50% deposit , Dan eventually came round to remove an electric shower and replace it with a mixer shower. He done the job and we paid the rest of the money. It looks tidy, we used it next day, but the shower was scalding hot and the mixer tap wasn’t making it any cooler. I emailed Dan who came to ‘fix’ it a couple of days later. He left saying ‘that’s fine now’. We used it next day but it was still roasting hot, the mixer tap hardly turns round and zero cold water was mixing. With only hot water coming through, you cannot stand under it. I emailed Dan again 3 times and left 4 voice messages but, weeks later, he hasn’t even replied and we are now left with an expensive bathroom ornament.

I find this 1 star review unfair as the shower conversion job was done to a high standard (pic's to prove). The customer contacted me the day after the install saying the shower wasn't mixing how it should. I promptly returned and reset the shower and it was working when I left the property. I went on holiday the following day for 7 days so unfortunately couldn't answer my calls or emails due to being away & also enjoying time with my wife & kids. On my return from holiday I had a voicemail saying the shower wasn't mixing again & I also saw I'd been left this review before I could speak to suppliers regarding the issue and to also call back to the property to sort out any issues.
