Firstly let me introduce myself. My name is Daniel Woods and I have over 20 years experience in the heating, plumbing and fireplace industry

High winds had snapped the brackets on my existing cowl so it was hanging off. Rang Dan who ordered a new one and fitted a few days later. Dan is very polite, easy to talk to and efficient. Would highly recommend and use again.

Dan came to disconnect my water a d gas to allow me to remove an old kitchen. He was able to fit me in quickly and did a great job. There was no mess left and he did the job very quickly. I am very pleased and will use them again when the kitchen is in and for any other jobs in the future.

I had asked Dan to convert a small room next to the kitchen, into a shower room/utility room. Dan's quote was by far the best . He and his team worked steadily to create a great, workable room. They carried out everything I had asked for, came up with suggestions and completed the task within days. Standard was excellent and everything left tidy and clean. I should definitely consider contacting Dan again if I needed a plumber and would have no problem recommending him.

After getting a quote and paying a 50% deposit , Dan eventually came round to remove an electric shower and replace it with a mixer shower. He done the job and we paid the rest of the money. It looks tidy, we used it next day, but the shower was scalding hot and the mixer tap wasn’t making it any cooler. I emailed Dan who came to ‘fix’ it a couple of days later. He left saying ‘that’s fine now’. We used it next day but it was still roasting hot, the mixer tap hardly turns round and zero cold water was mixing. With only hot water coming through, you cannot stand under it. I emailed Dan again 3 times and left 4 voice messages but, weeks later, he hasn’t even replied and we are now left with an expensive bathroom ornament.

Dan came to inspect the job and sent estimate within 3 days. The price quoted is the price I paid. The work was done on time he had quoted 3 days. He replaced my old bathtub for walk-in shower. Replaced tiles. New wooden floor installed He left everything clean and tidy before leaving in the evenings. All rubbish was taken away by the end of the job. The bathroom looks wonderful and I can’t praise his workmanship enough. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dan was excellent.He came to my house and was professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. He arrived on the scheduled date, and within 4 hours had installed my multi fuel stove. He explained all the work and the relevant stages of installation. He also did all the HEATAS paperwork, fitted a CO2 alarm, explained how the stove worked and told me the recommended combustion distances from the stove. He also left the room as clean and tidy as it was before he started. I am made up....thanks Dan

Dan removed an old bathroom suite, replacing it with a new suite. He had to take the walls back to brick and start the walls and floor from scratch. Floor and walls are now completly tiled, suite fitted, underfloor heating fitted all working well. The bathroom came in on budget apart from some extra electrical work not requested in the original quote. Dan and his team were outstanding during the time in my property. Always happy to pause to answer any questions. Dan went the extra mile by collecting some of the materials in his van from the different suppliers we purchased from. We had one small problem after a week which the electrician sorted when we contacted Dan.

We had issues with a previous builder who botched our bathroom refurb last year, much to our dismay. Dan came out to inspect as we developed a leak and he was truthful about the previous poor workmanship and gave us an extremely reasonable quote to fix our shower! He sorted this problem and resealed everywhere to a much better standard, I’m just sorry we didn’t get him to do the whole bathroom. Thanks so much

We have recently had a full bathroom/wetroom fitted. The original bathroom was stripped back and we had a walk in shower, new vanity unit plus sink, new toilet and radiator fitted. The bathroom was completely re-tiled - floor and walls and a new ceiling and spots fitted. I can not recommend Dan enough. The quality of the job was excellent. The tiler was exceptional and we even had new electrics fitted to comply with regulations. All work was completed to the timeline agreed and Dan came back to fit accessories with no complaint. All work was completed in a clean and efficient manner. The team were friendly and polite. We cannot recommend his services enough - you won't be disappointed.

I found Dan from Which?, so contacted him to disconnect my mum’s washing machine after I had had a negative (and wet!) experience, disconnecting one before where the isolation valve, unknown to me, wasn’t working! Dan turned up promptly, and offered an honest steer as to what the best course would be; he quickly sorted it; efficient and affable - would definitely engage him again and would recommend him.

Dan has recently renovated my downstairs cloakroom by replacing the existing toilet and sink and installing a shower. I am delighted with the results! Dan never left a mess behind at the end of the day, he arranged for other trades ie plasterer and tiler to attend when required and the price quoted initially was the price I actually paid. We hired Dan to completely overhaul our bedroom en-suite based on the quality of his previous jobs, and we weren't disappointed. We gave him a house key and let him organise the project in his own time. One of the key improvements Dan made was to divert the waste water beneath the floor (as originally it was fed around the room edge and boxed in), and this made a huge difference to the end finish. Dan organised and liaised with his tiler (who did an amazing job with a large 1.2m tile), and installed a new shower, tray and wet room screen. Dan even came up with the goods in terms of the little details which made a big difference to the finishing. During the whole project, the stairs carpet was protected and the room left tidy at every stage of the job. We're so pleased, we've asked Dan to revamp our main bathroom in the Summer.

I recently employed this company, ie. Dan Woods, to complete several plumbing jobs for me. The jobs involved were, re-fitting an en suite bathroom, re-fitting a cloakroom, plus, several additional plumbing jobs. I found Dan easy to deal with and very pleasant on all occasions. I can certainly recommend Dan and Bryan who both went above and beyond. The underfloor heating was to be fitted in my conservatory which contains 50 plus plants along with several pieces of furniture. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to have the room emptied. This did not deter them and they moved the contents into my living room in a very short space of time. The orginal flooring was removed, and the underfloor heating was fitted perfectly. I am looking forward to spending more time in my conservatory during the autumn and winter knowing I now have an efficient heating system.

Dan and Martyn have just finished refurbishing my bathroom. They replaced my old space saver bath and shower with a walk in shower, retiled both the bathroom walls and floor, also fitting a new washbasin tap. Dan answered my initial e-mail enquiry promptly and fixed up a time to view the job. He offered advice on the project and the finished result is exactly as I was expecting. The quality of the plumbing work and tiling is excellent. All the rubbish was removed when the work was finished. The price I paid was the price quoted, despite needing some work to replace a few rotten floorboards.

I called with a problem and was given a time slot for work to commence and even though it was not urgent it was next day between 1300 and 1500. I received a message from Dan at 1300 to say they were on their way to me. They arrived within 10 minutes and were a Very friendly and very professional service. DW did an excellent job fitting my boiler, including relocating it to a different position in the kitchen. The work was performed quickly and was tidy when finished. I also had a new stopcock tap fitted in my shed which included reconnecting an old blanked-off redundant pipe. Dan did an excellent job which had proven to be more challenging than originally expected (including digging out concrete to establish a leak-free connection). I would highly recommend DW to anyone.
