Our kitchen developed a leak between the isolation tap and the feed to the header tank in the roof. My normal plumber was not available so I contacted E&W. Richard got back to me within 40 minutes, and arranged for a member of his team to visit. This showed that the leak was under the floor and a further visit was required. Throughout Richard was very responsive and easy to get hold of.

We have used Richard,s team to firstly repair a broken heating system when the weather was at its coldest and they responded immediately getting it working again. Subsequent to that we used them again for servicing our heating system again to our satisfaction. Recently we needed them for many differing pieces of work to our bathroom, waste outlet, sink waste and replacement taps. All of this required their highly skilled workforce to use their problem solving abilities to get over many issues. We are so indebted to them and it might sound dramatic but you realise how much you need your bathroom when parts of it do not work. So to sum up, all communication with Richard and his team is brilliant. Time scales are excellent, the team are communicative, helpful and a pleasure to have in your home. Definitely a company to recommend to everyone.

As always, excellent and trustworthy work from E&W for my elderly brother who has a learning disability. Two gas fires were serviced and noisy pipes in the bathroom were sorted.

I have had difficulty getting a good plumber at a reasonable rate to do relatively small jobs. The last one would not come back when his work on an immersion heater started leaking. But in E & W Plumbing and Heating of Wallingford I found a team who did just what they said they would do - fixed all the minor things, fitted a new tap, sorted out a cistern, and, on the second visit, foxed the immersion heater, even adding a new drainage tap at no extra cost. Their plumbers were friendly and tidy; they explained everything clearly and did a neat job in the time they said it would take. The whole service was clear and efficient and at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend them for any job in the South Oxfordshire area.

Our Heatrae Sadia water heater had stopped working and trying to find the right people to come and take a look had proved difficult. E&W Plumbing and Heating sent an engineer out very quickly and he was able to diagnose the issue and get the parts on order. The engineer was superb, well mannered and explained in detail what he had found, what he had done and what was now required. Very impressed with all communications with E&W too.

E and W have done several jobs for us in the past couple of years- boiler services, plumbing leaks etc. They are quick to respond, efficient, friendly and professional. I have used E&W Plumbing several times now. The last job was challenging, as old, poorly installed pipework needed to be replaced. The plumber who came was brilliant. In spite of the difficulties he encountered, he remained highly professional throughout the twelve hours he was here, finally leaving at 9 pm and the job was completed the following morning. In all my contacts with E&W, I have been so impressed with their work ethic, politeness, knowledge and communication. The office is highly efficient, and appointments are booked amazingly quickly, even late at night. The quality of the work is second to none and the cost of the work is so reasonable. I will always use E&W from now on.

E & W have proved to be swift, efficient and professional: The phone is always answered promptly and messages are passed on and call-backs happen when arranged. The team is headed up by Richard who is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things to do with heating and plumbing: He is willing and able to provide advice by telephone or email; he always responds swiftly and with comprehensive answers or suggestions. Our heating system is pressurised and we had a problem with the expansion vessel losing pressure - E & W quoted to replace this unit and replenish the inhibitor: the job was completed more quickly than had been anticipated and they consequently reduced the final bill, which was very fair and very welcome. All the team members I have dealt with are polite and professional.

Two new radiators were replaced and one removed. An initial visit by an engineer confirmed our request was achievable and the correct heat output calculated. A competitive quote was provided for the work which I was happy to accept. A date was agreed to carry out the work which was honoured. The engineer arrived and completed the work to a very high standard. The copper pipework and the radiators look excellent complimenting a new kitchen. The system was tested and the heat output impressive. Service was professional and of the highest quality throughout. I would recommend and we will definitely seek their service in the future.

I needed replacement kitchen and garden taps and a dripping overflow pipe which was making wall damp needed to be fixed. Booking the visit was easy and the secretary was really helpful. I received advice regarding which kitchen tap was required, everything happened on time and the plumber who came out was delightful. An unforeseen problem arose which was sorted out very quickly with an extra visit. I can thoroughly recommend this company. Their helpfulness, communication and standard of work were excellent all around and I will use them from now on for plumbing problems.

E&W Plumbing are now my first call for central heating work after they managed to sort out underflooring heating problems that two other companies had given up on. Recently they replaced a faulty actuator and the female team member who came was punctual, very knowledgeable, very efficient and pleasant. E&W managed to find exactly the right spare for our hansgrohe bath mixer which is 21 years old. Fitted and it is as good as new. Our plumber was friendly and professional, we were happy to have him working in the house. Communication is very good, they turn up as scheduled, and we are really pleased with all their work and the price. We will definitely be asking them back for further house improvements this year. E&W replaced our (20 year old) boiler, replaced the pump, replaced the valves on all our radiators, power-flushed and balanced the system, and installed NEST. The workers were incredibly polite and professional and the work they've done is impeccable. We recently had our boiler and radiators replaced by E & W Heating & Plumbing. From the initial contact, through to completion of works we received a very professional and friendly service. Due to the age of the house and the thickness of the stone walls this was a considerable job. However, Barry and his Apprentice carried out a very neat installation. The quality of workmanship was second to none and so too was their friendly attitude. Great care was taken to protect our house during the work and we were kept informed throughout the installation. We would not hesitate in recommending this company.

We had a smell of gas in our home, rang E&W Plumbing and they had someone there within a couple of hours. They very quickly worked out what the problem was, and put it right immediately. They then carried out a check of the gas appliances to make sure everything was working OK - excellent service. E&W Plumbing and Heating Ltd three years ago installed a new boiler at our home and replaced all the radiators. Since then they have serviced the boiler every year. Their work is superb and the boiler is absolutely brilliant the best one we have ever had by far. Exceptional quality, technically very proficient, very clean and tidy and very polite and friendly.
