Errol designed, created, and installed two cupboards for us today. It was a pleasure to see his skills at work, and he couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. The locations both needed obstacles to be worked around and Errol’s solutions look superb. Errol put down dust sheets before starting work and cleared up and hoovered up at the end. Errol Vaughan completed a kitchen re-furb for us in December 2022. We were so pleased with the result and Errol's work ethic, we decided to request that he also completely refurbish our bathroom. We used Errol for a small job to move fitted bedroom furniture and adjust the cupboards for the new space. It was a half a day job and we very lucky that Errol was available as he had a cancellation. Errol has just completed my main bedroom project: dismantled/disposed off the built-in wardrobes/cabinets and drawer units; replaced all of those with modern units to my total satisfaction without any fuss. Would gladly use him for any future projects. Clean and tidy 'artisan'.

Rather than a complete new kitchen we decided on an update of what we already had, saving around two thirds of the cost, but making the job quite complex. Errol completed the job on time, and for the quoted price. He was puntctual, a good standard of work and was prepared to overcome problems that were not of his making, but still within the quoted price. He gave us good advice regarding our kitchen, and helped us choice our our products at trade price. On completion Errol took all the rubbish away, left our kitchen clean and tidy, was good to deal with and we would certainly use him again.

Errol is in a league of his own! He did all the above work in the space of three days to the highest quality. During the work, some problems arose as the replacements were not like for like, but Errol is a problem solver and soon found a solution. When Errol does come across a problem, he involves the customer in the discussion. He has an excellent work ethic as he starts early, works long hours with very short breaks, and cleans up the work area before finishing each day. All the work was to budget. Previously Errol has fitted a wooden living room floor, a bedroom wardrobe, kitchen worktops, shower room door, and tiled a bathroom floor in our home. I can highly recommend him as the quality of his work, his communication skills, and attention to aftercare, are outstanding.

Errol Vaughan took out our old kitchen, carried out renovations and installed a brand new kitchen for us on time and within budget. He is highly professional and extremely skilful and competent. He is reliable and worked on our kitchen every day until it was completed. He is polite and considerate and would ensure that all rubbish was cleared at the end of each day. We now have an awesome kitchen, thanks to Errol. We are so impressed by his work that we would seek his services again for other future works.

Errol presented a professional competitive quote, following his preliminary visit and discussion of my personal requirement to replace a 1930's 1st floor maisonette bedroom floor , paying specific attention to reducing sound transmission and allowing access to central heating pipework for any future remedial works etc. All redundant floorboards were safely and quickly removed and securely replaced with suitable ply boards , a high quality underlay, and finally the laminate boards and trim of my choice, supplied by myself as agreed. The work carried out by Errol was of real professional quality , my wife was delighted with the end result, and I was impressed with his attention to detail and the immediate improvement in sound attenuation from the ground floor . It was a pleasure to have this work done by such an affable competent tradie, who took considerable care to clean all the space on completion.

Errol arrived promptly and immediately started work on fitting a new Fire Door at my Flat. On looking for a quote, I found Errol very knowledgeable which gave me confidence in accepting his reasonable quote. He also went to a great deal of trouble in sourcing a Sapele veneered door to match the original door it was replacing. Errol carried out an extremely good job on a very difficult replacement where slight movement in the building has lead to misalignment of the door frame. He left the job in a clean and tidy condition. I would not hesitate to recommend Errol for joinery work.

After several attempts to find someone to repair our double-glazed windows. We are delighted to have found Errol on the Which? Trusted Trader site. Errol visited our property and explained that the window seals had perished/blown, hence the cloudy look to the units, and one of the window hinges was broken. He measured up and provided a quote for replacing 8 units in different rooms around the house. Having fixed a date to carry out the works, he arrived promptly and completed the job. He was polite, worked quickly and cleaned up after he finished. Very efficient. We would thoroughly recommend Errol for any future projects.

Errol repaired a bedroom door frame which was broken and the door had come off. He did a very neat job of cutting out the broken piece of frame and putting in a new piece of wood. He rehung the door which now opens beautifully. Thanks.

I have had two jobs done by Errol, as I was so happy with the quality of his work. First job was repairs to my old but solid front door, which I had been going to replace, but Errol has replaced the glazing and hinges and draft proof strips and I am very happy with it. He has also replaced the glass units in a double glazed French window, meaning I could keep the existing framework, and then done some internal works replacing door handles. Errol takes great attention to detail and does the job thoroughly rather than rushing it to get it finished.

Errol did a superb job at fitting my new bathroom. I am so pleased with the finished result. With this being my first home and never having had any work completed before I was a complete and utter novice and had no idea what I was doing. Errol walked me through it all and provided me with lots of invaluable advice to help me make decisions from picking the bathroom suite and furniture to the tiles and finishes. Errol is a professional and pleasure to work to with. His aim is to do a good, not to finish quickly. He takes his time and thinks of what he is doing. Most builders try to finish the work quickly and in the process make errors. Also it is essential that you can talk to the builder and ask his/her opinion, some builders get upset about that claiming that you are hindering their work. I had that experience with my bathroom fitter. Errol gives advice and opinion and warns you against it if you ask him to do something which he thinks is wrong. That is what professionals should do because they the work better than the client. The work was done in the agreed schedule and budget Overall, excellent job, very friendly and helpful.

Errol did a fantastic job with the hall cupboard. I was very inexperienced with Howdens but Errol was great with all the back and forth that went on with the order. The butler sink and top looks almost too good for the laundry room. Fast, quick but neat and tidy job with great results. Thank you.

Errol was able to remove the necessary door and doorstops to manoeuver the new washing machine underneath my stairs and also did the connection. Very practically minded and a very nice chap too.

Errol did a wonderful job of fitting a handrail, baserail, spindles and extending the newel post of my staircase. Errol turned up at 8.30am and with the exception of a short lunch break didn't stop until about 5 in the evening. He was friendly, very professional and most definitely knows his business. He made several helpful suggestions such as type of locks, whether the door should open inward or outward which hadn't even occurred to me. Errol carried out two separate pieces of work for me on separate visits after I found him via Which? Trusted Trader. He replaced a wooden side door to the back garden of our house, along with the side posts and a wooden door on the side of our garage. More recently he cut out and replaced part of a rotten wooden post supporting the roof of our porch. Both jobs were done efficiently and to a high quality. Errol arrived on time, was thorough and a true professional with a genial manner. I highly recommend Errol.

Errol replaced the window sills around my upper bay window and an oriel window. He worked virtually from dawn to dusk to complete the work and also did some additional remedial work, charging me only the cost of the materials. The job was done at a reasonable price and I am very satisfied with the results.

A Joy! From the first contact I had with Errol I found him to be extremely professional. Over the years I have built up a list of tradesmen (plumber, electrician, etc) who I can rely on. Up until recently I have not had a requirement for a joiner. I am pleased to say that Errol is now added to my list of reliable and trusted tradesmen. He gave excellent advise as to which door handle latches and locking mechanisms would be best. He is punctual and the work he did is very neat.....and for the work involved his rate was very good. I was very impressed by the overall package Errol presented ( standard of work, reliability, rates, helpfulness and friendliness) and I would highly recommend him and will definitely call upon his services in the future.

Fitted a hardboard window board in an angled bay. Prompt, efficient, personable and worked to a very good standard. Encountered a few issues, mainly because of the age of the house, which he pointed out at the time. End result was excellent.

Errol has worked in my house periodically for at least three years now. He fitted my kitchen, has done extensive carpentry work which included fitting oak floors, skirting and architraves, he's replaced the banister on the stairs, fitted new internal doors and replaced the front door twice, the second time with a composite door. He's floored the loft and even fitted a water softener. He works meticulously, will do whatever you ask him no matter how trivial, has an eye for detail and genuinely takes pride in everything that he does. Errol is a true craftsman with years of experience, there's few problems he can't overcome, he's reliable, reasonably priced and is a tradesman you'll definitely want to use again. Highly recommended and on top of all of that, he's a genuinely nice guy.

I had serious problem with the hinges on some ancient fitted kitchen cupboards. Errol quickly answered my distress call and came to look. He made immediate arrangements ith the problem, giving an accurate and reasonable estimate. He arrived precisely on time to do the repairs, working quickly and skilfully.
