We needed a larger loft hatch and a new loft ladder for our 1930’s house. We received a comprehensive visit where lots of questions were asked and a detailed explanation of what was available to us was given. Having made a decision, the work was promptly booked and carried out by a great 2 person team. They worked efficiently, and tidily and the end result is fabulous. They also took the time to ensure we knew how to open/close the new hatch/ladder and watched while we tried it to make sure we felt comfortable. All in all, great communication, very professional and would not hesitate to recommend.

I had East Anglian lofts install a hatch and expandable ladder in my spare room. The ceilings are exceptionally high and they managed to put in a wooden ladder that comfortably reached the floor with a spring loaded mechanism for ease of pulling down. The pole to unlock the hatch was only just long enough for me to reach it. They very kindly offered to make a bespoke pole to make it easier for me. I’m very very pleased with the job they did and quality of the installed ladder. Mark and David worked tirelessly until quite late to ensure job was finished. They left the bedroom, stairs, landing and hallway spotless which was no easy task due to the rubble and brick dust everywhere from having to knock a large hole in the ceiling. I didn’t need to re do anything. Absolutely first class. Lovely chaps and so so nice to find tradesmen who actually do exactly what they quoted for and then go above and beyond. A rare find… can’t recommend them enough.

Amazing company to deal with from the initial survey and detailed quote through to installation. I missed the deadline to get 10% off due to a minor operation but they honoured the discount, that’s incredible customer service. The fitters were very professional, explaining what they would do, the noise involved (as needed a larger hatch cutting) and how the finished works would look. I can honestly say in this day and age when it’s hard to find truly professional tradespeople, the guys from East Anglian Loft Ladders went above and beyond my expectations and even cleaned up after they had finished. Both ladders (one hybrid, one wooden) are excellent quality and the installation was very neatly and efficiently done, all at a very reasonable, competitve rate. David and Laura did an amazing job and made sure everything was tidy before they left, they were so professional and personable I really can’t recommend them enough. Having talked about improving the access to our loft for several years, East Anglian Loft Ladders were the answer to our prayers. From my first email enquiry to their final email confirming that payment had been received, everyone at the company was a pleasure to deal with – both pleasant and efficient. The quotation arrived promptly after Mark's first visit and the cost seemed reasonable. On the appointed day, the team arrived bang on time and cleaned up everything very thoroughly afterwards. Our house is around 20 years old so we were concerned regarding the depth and state of the insulation in the loft. Also, we had noticed some condensation dripping from the black roof lining during cold spells in the winter. We asked Anglian Roof Ladders to inspect the loft, make recommendations and provide a quotation. They confirmed the insulation was fine but needed relaying and suggested installing boarding down the centre of the loft with a new light. Vents were also proposed to aid air flow. We agreed to the work at a cost of £1500. The hardest part for us was clearing our suitcases and detritus prior to the work. The work was completed by two very competent and friendly workers in one day. A great job and we now have a loft we can easily access and use for storage.

From first visit to give quotation arranging installation and carrying out installation could not have been more efficient all personnel I spoke to whether on the phone or face to face was always helpful polite and professional. The installation was excellent very professionally carried out protected with dust sheets from street door to loft entrance explain workings on completion spotless clean every were they had work. I had a new loft ladder installed and a new hatch fitted. It was really easy to arrange a quote and time for the work. The work was done to a really high standard and everything left very clean and tidy after they were finished. They were very polite and friendly throughout.

Really happy with the process from start to finish. Mark came out to give us a quote and we were able to book an installation quite quickly. Jason and David arrived bang on 8:00am and laid the dust sheets. They both cracked on and the installation of a new hatch to fit the ladder and boarding of the loft was completed in 5.5 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and took away the rubbish and the room was left in the same way we had left it. Really happy with our new loft space and we cannot wait to use it. Had a loft ladder installed 3-4-23. Received a phone call prior to arrival saying when they would be here and another to say they had arrived(bang on time). Explained exactly what they were going to do, which included removing original loft hatch and increasing size to fit in new hatch, which contained the fixed ladder. They then covered the whole area with dust sheets before starting. Cracked on with the work to a high standard and then explained how it all worked.(very easy but glad they showed us). On completion hoovered all around and left in very tidy order. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Very nice people

We recently had our loft hatch replaced, a 3 piece ladder added and the loft partially boarded. We looked at previous reviews and were impressed with their high number of positive reviews. Mark came out and gave us some really good ideas for making our loft more usable. It was not really usable for storage prior to then. He went beyond and suggested things we hadn't thought of such as getting the hatch enlarged. On accepting the quote, work was booked in quickly. Jason and Derek turned up early on the day and worked non stop. They did a great job, everything finished to a high standard and cleaned up afterwards. They explained how everything worked before they left. Overall really impressed and good communication throughout. Even comes with a 3 year guarantee. No hesitation recommending and would use again.

The team arrived and work very professionally, cleaned up and then explained everything they did. The loft is very neat and tidy now with new insulation and partially boarded. The hatch they had to enlarge for ladder was very neatly cut and finished off. Everything from the first call, survey and finishing was spot on. No problem with using again.

We are very pleased with our new loft ladder and will make trips into the loft a lot safer than hauling ourselves up from a ladder. I don’t know why we didn’t do this sooner. The initial survey and quote were done efficiently and at the appointed time. Equally the fitters turned up on time and worked fast and efficiently to complete the job. We needed to have three lofts reinsulated to modern standards and flooring installed above the insulation in two of them. I chose to get a quote from East Anglian Loft Ladders Ltd because of the excellent reviews on Which Trusted Traders. Having met the surveyor and discussed our requirements I was very impressed. His suggestions for the installation were constructive and he displayed an in depth knowledge of the energy conservation field. The quote was received promptly and the price was acceptable. The installation team was first class in every way. The work was completed on time and to a high standard. They were happy to answer our questions. The old insulation was removed without creating a mess in the house and great care was taken to clean up both during the installation and after completion. Our experience as customers was exemplary. The work was completed for the quoted price in two days as we had been told it would. We will receive an official energy performance certificate from the appropriate body. Photographs were taken of the work to enable the certification. Certification of energy performance is becoming increasingly important in house sales/purchases.

I contacted the company with the view to having extra loft insulation applied. I received a very quick response and David visited and sized up the job with some helpful observations. The work was completed on 3/10 in around 3 hours with everything left clean and tidy. A fair price and a joy to deal with from start to finish.

I had East Anglian quote for insulating and boarding my loft, plus adding a loft ladder. Since it was such a large job they quoted for all of it and half of the boarding, since I wanted to keep costs low at this stage. Their quote was very competitive and their advise was spot on. Out of the different quotes I received they were the only ones who offered the solution I wanted for the ladder, everyone else tried to push something not really fit for purpose. The work was carried within budget, to an excellent level of quality, and they were always very professional and friendly. Highly recommended, I will be using them to board the rest of the loft in a few months, and I will come back to them next time I need any of the services they offer.

We had extra insulation. boarding, ladder, and lights fitted. The guys came and got on with the work as promised and left us with a loft that we can now use for storage as we wanted. Happy to recommend them or use them again. Only downside was that ladder was not quite as solid when raised or lowered as I'd have liked, but is is secure to use.

I needed my loft insulation topped up as it wasn't up to current regs. Mark came out on a Sunday to quote. he offered me different options and there was no pressure at all to have anything other than what I wanted. David and Laura came one evening to tidy up the original lagging and top it up to current regs. Although it was a small job it was done very efficiently. I am so pleased I used this company and I'm sure I will be using them again if needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. It's 5 stars from me.

Great reliable family business. Had a bigger loft hatch fitted with a ladder over a tricky small space over a bath! Great advice from Mark on the initial visit and then the installation was carried out by David and Jason. So professional and polite. I was expecting to have to fill in the plaster around the new hatch but they did everything! So tidy in their work, dust mats used and a very thorough hoovering. Place was spotless and it’s as though the new loft hatch was always there. Outcome is we have a far more accessible loft with a reliable ladder coming down from the hatch. Great work - thank you! A no obligation site survey was arranged to which Anglian Loft Ladders arrived promptly as per agreed time. A site survey was carried out promptly and very professionally. I was given a price almost immediately. The day of installation was agreed to which again Anglian Loft Ladders arrived as per time agreed. The works were carried professionally and my house was treated with the greatest of respect. My work was completed as per original plans and was fully explained during assembly. After the work was completed Anglian Loft Ladders cleaned every part of my house were they had been. I really can't recommend this company enough. We saw the East Anglian Loft Ladder company advertised in the local Villager magazine. We had a look at their website and videos and contacted them for a survey and a quote. They are a nice family business and they worked extremely well and within an hour to install a telescopic loft ladder and hatch. I found East Anglian Loft Ladders by chance and what a lucky one it was! From the first phone call I found them to be very friendly, efficient and reliable. Mark was on time for the appointment to survey what needed to be done, he did not rush and he explained everything he was proposing to do. The work, taking three days and carried out by David and Laura, started and finished on time. It involved raising the joists to increase the insulation and then fully boarding over the loft space and replacing the loft hatch with an insulated one, making sure the existing loft ladder still functioned. I was recommended EA Loft Ladders by a neighbour who had had his loft partially boarded and a drop-down ladder fitted. I engaged EA Loft Ladders to board the entirety of my loft, install some lighting, increase the size of the loft hatch and install a drop-down ladder. When they arrived to quote, they gave me several options to achieve my desired outcome and highlighted the pros and cons of each. The team were incredibly efficient, managing to complete the entirety of the work in one full working day rather than the 1.5-2 working days quoted. They arrived early and stayed after 5 to get the job done rather than stretching the job out over 2 days which meant I was bound to the house far less than I had initially anticipated. The team were incredibly friendly and professional. They made sure I knew how to operate the newly installed latch and ladder before leaving site and stressed that if there were any issues arising post installation that I was to let them know so they could return to fix. The team were also incredibly fastidious in cleaning up after the work. There was absolutely no evidence that they had been in which is more than I could expect from the average building contractor!
