I contacted ECA as my washing machine had stopped mid cycle, not spinning or pumping out, so water and washing still in the drum ! Doug was able to come out the same day. He was really friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He was able to quickly detect the issue, resolve efficiently, no parts were required, and he cleaned up as he went along. Doug ensured my machine was back ready to do the weekend washing ! Excellent work all round- Make East Coast Appliances your first & only call.

I contacted East Coast Appliances Ltd when our John Lewis washing machine developed a fault. The door lock was repeatedly locking and unlocking. The machine would not run. Not good. I had a big pile of washing to do! East Coast Appliances responded quickly. A nice lady phoning to quote a reasonable rate and offering to a visit just 2 days later. On arrival, after some initial diagnostics the fault was identified - A failing heating element. Caused by scale build-up from hard water. The faulty element must be destabilised some aspect of the electrical control. A new element was installed. The machine has worked perfectly ever since. Very happy :-) The technician arrived on time polite, was clearly knowledgable, well equipped and well spoken. I could not have asked for better service. Highly recommended.
