Moving house has to be one of the most stressful times. Easymove could not have been more helpful or reassuring. From the first phone conversation to the wave goodbye after our move, the experience was positive and stress free. All done with good humour and a problem-solving approach. Nothing too much trouble. The costs were accurate, no hidden extras. Richard was easy to contact and always got back to us so we felt informed the whole way through, excellent communication throughout. Easymove did what they said they would do; it was all clearly explained. They turned up on time and went beyond our expectations in our two day move from Derby to Norfolk. What struck me in particular is that Richard is an employer who looks after his staff, ensuring health and safety, breaks etc. Getting the people stuff right as an employer is so important to delivering a professional service. Can't recommend Easymove highly enough.

From start to finish, our move was handled very professionally. We had three quotes from different companies -Easymove was the one in the middle of the price range but from the start, we felt confident that Richard and his team would do the best job for us. Richard was very patient whilst we confirmed our completion date and held our booking for us even though we only knew for definite that we were going a few days before the move. The guys started loading the day before the move and finished the next morning (we had 3 vans altogether), taking about 8 hours in total with a team of 5. We were amazed at our new house that everything was unloaded in about 2 and a half hours and that included moving some large bits of furniture around when we decided they might look better in a different position. We did our own packing due to the Coronavirus outbreak but all boxes were handled carefully and furniture, pictures and TV etc were all carefully wrapped. Protective coverings were put down on the floors at both the old and new houses. All the team were courteous, friendly and helpful. They say that moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do but the actual move was the least stressful part of the whole process thanks to Richard and his team from Easymove. I would highly recommend them.

Richard and the team arrived On time, worked hard on one of the hottest days of the year so far to art pack us on the 25th. Then returned 15 minutes early on 26th. when they went to work completing the packing. Richard had estimated that Thursday would be around 3 hours work (done in 2hr 55mins). Richard estimated arrive 9am Friday and complete packing and leaving around 12.30 departed 12.40pm. We moved from a 3 bedroom home on 3 floors with wide doors and stairways. to a 3 Bedroom on 3 floors with a basement. Doors had to be and replaced, Furniture disassembled and reassembled (one door was only 2 foot wide) This as no problem for the team. Richard had estimated completion around 4.30pm they left around 4.45pm. Throughout it all they were all smiling and helpful and very pleasant. They took all the stress and strain of the move away. (apart from the unpacking) Still they had to leave us something to do. I can only say a great big thank you to Richard and the team.

Richard and his team moved us from our house in Duffield, into his storage for six months, and then into small, three storey house in London with difficult narrow staircases. They had to take both front doors off to get stuff in. They were very competent, flexible, friendly and reasonably priced. Recommended without any qualification. Pauline and Phil

Can not recommend Richard and his team with more enthusiasm! Our recent relocation from Hampshire back to Derby’s has plenty of challenges, including a lot of large scale furniture previously purchased in the Middle East. On arrival in day one, Richards whole team knew our names and addressed us immediately with our names and a smile. All off items we hadn’t wrapped were safely wrapped and packed and the trucks were loaded with great skill. On day two the new property had a number of challenges including a spiral staircase to take a king sized up. They had all the kit and were so professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Easy Move of Derby’s. Very careful and considerate movers.

Richard was extremely helpful and accommodating at very short notice. Nick and Andrew were amazing on the day. The weather was dreadful and they had a long wait for me to receive the keys to my new property but despite this, they carried out the removal in a friendly, good humoured and very efficient manner. Highly recommended.

We have recently moved house with Easymove of Derby, and it was undoubtedly the least stressful part of the moving process, due to Richard and his team's professionalism, care, unstinting can-do approach, hard work and good cheer. We were impressed with Richard's service from the start. He was easy to contact, reliable, knowledgeable, helpful, honest and good value. Particular issues to be overcome were poor access to our old property, endless heavy boxes of books, and manoeuvring a particularly heavy antique book case up a twisting staircase (both survived intact!), all in 24 degrees. Nothing became an unnecessary drama. On the day, Richard, Dan and Ben worked tirelessly in fierce summer heat, and managed to keep in excellent humour throughout. We were really impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this company. They would certainly be our first port of call if we were ever to move again. Hearty thanks to all concerned.

A truly professional service provided for a staggered move from the north, storage for several months, and then delivery at very short notice (1 week) to a new property in the south. Richard & his team ensured that the whole process (which could have been highly stressful) was entirely stress-free. The team were very polite and helpful throughout.
