Ebor Windows were professional from start to finish and exhibited product / job knowledge which really impressed us. They also worked with us on a couple of matters above and beyond just fitting our new windows and doors. The fitting team were friendly and courteous and did a fantastic job and we are thrilled with the end result. We would highly recommend the whole team.

We chose to have all our Windows and Patio Door replaced this year as they were over 30 years old and as we had previously used Which Trusted Trader with success decided to view local firms/companies for the installation. we saw Ebor Windows had very good reviews and as they were local decided to use them. The installation began with a visit from Jo who took all the initial details and advised on styles, timing, installation etc. After agreeing to the work and signing the contract everything more or less fell into place, installation date was bang on and the vans arrived on time and the lads quickly and efficiently started the installation which was over a three day period, even planning their working times to fit in with weather forecasts. They were very clean with stacks of dust sheets their attention to detail was first class They obviously took great pride in their work and wanted the customer to be totally happy with it. Everything was cleaned and tidied up thoroughly afterwards. I would recommend Ebor Windows to anyone.

I was recommended Ebor Windows by a friend, who told me, "They have done quite a bit of work for us... We have always been very satisfied!" Well, so am I!! Right from the get-go, I felt the job was in safe hands. To begin with, Jo came out to quote for the replacement of the front windows of my house. I was unsure what style I wanted, all of them done at once, or over a longer period of time. Jo talked me through all aspects, but no pressure was put on me to go ahead with the project. After agreeing to the work, Jo kept me informed, the lads came out to measure up properly, and a fitting date was set. The vans arrived on time, and the lads set to work, with dust covers galore! They were all friendly and respectful, working quickly and efficiently; their attention to detail was second to none! They obviously took great pride in their work and wanted the customer to be totally happy with it, too. Everything was cleaned and tidied up thoroughly afterwards, and apart from my lovely new windows, I wouldn't have known they had been! They allowed 3 days for the job, but it was actually completed in a day and a half. Pretty impressive!! I can thoroughly recommend Ebor Windows to anyone... You won't be disappointed!!!

Richard and his team as always deliver a very professional, high quality service. The windows and doors we have had fitted are of exceptional quality. The look great and function reliably. Very impressed with every aspect of the service from Ebor windows, from beginning to end. Initial communication was easy and their representative attended quickly to look at our house and provide a quote. The quote itself arrived swiftly and was highly competitive. After we confirmed, communication was excellent and the glaziers attended to start the work within a few days. Workmanship excellent is excellent , with all the finishing-off done very neatly, and cleaned up well after themselves. A few bits of snagging were attended to promptly. All the staff we dealt with were friendly, efficient, and communicated very well. No high pressure sales techniques, just excellent service throughout. Very highly recommended

We live in a 1930s semi and it was time to replace most of the original replacement windows (30+ years old) and front/back doors. We got three quotes from independent replacement windows companies and decided to go with Ebor - we do not regret it! They were not the cheapest but Jo was brilliant, listened to what we wanted, gave good advice, helped us to decide what would be best and was patient in negotiations around final specifications without pressure. Ebor also took charge of the 3rd party building and scaffolding work that would be needed ahead of the windows going in. Richard, Ben and Aaron did the install - there was a lot to do: 4 bay windows, one with a patio door, three other windows and new composite doors front/back. There was a delay in starting due to weather on a previous job and our work overran by a day - but these were the only issues. The three fitters did an excellent job, the fit and look is brilliant, they were more than happy to work through snagging and small things that needed attending to, and it was great to hear their care and attention to detail when working on aspects of the job. We would definitely recommend them - in fact we are having them back to replace another window, that despite not needing replacing, looks a little tired now compared to the rest of the house! Very, very pleased. Ebor windows are a high quality, friendly, family business. We needed to replace our old timber framed, single glazed windows and install uPVC double glazing throughout and a new front door. Our journey started with Jo in the office who researched and visited the house and gave great advice on all the options available. She listened and was sympathetic to our views which was appreciated as we were very wary about changing the character of the house. We are pleased we followed her wise advice. Thanks to Richard, Ben and Aaron who fitted the windows in what is an older and challenging property. They were extremely skilled, informed us of every step and were a pleasure to have in the house. The worked with great skill, patience and attention to detail and made certain that all was left in good order at the end of each working day. They made every effort to ensure all the rooms were clean and restored back to normal as they moved around the house. The work was completed precisely within the given timescale. We are delighted with the result and can highly recommend Ebor Windows to you.

Decided to go with Ebor after they had done such a good job on our windows We had pretty much decided on what door we wanted, but there was still plenty of options to discuss, such as hinges, locks, window frosting, door handles, so lots of communication back and forth with Jo supplying drawings and lots options with costs The team turned up on the date and time agreed and got plenty of covers down on the carpet before they set too The old door did not come out without a fight, but once out you could see what a hack job had been done on the old door and frame. Once the new door was in, it looked amazing, the team finished everything off both inside and out to a very high standard and cleaned everything up. I am looking at covering the underside of the door porch to match the door, when I told them this, they really wanted to know when so that they could come out and do any further sealant work to support the work I had done - never normally get that, its often a done and dash job One of the down covers had a nick in it, again this was no hassle for them to come out and replace it, rather than botch patch it and keep quiet These guys go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction A professional job, fantastic finish and now we have an amazing front door

New composite door supplied and fitted within timeline and costs. Excellent, prompt, friendly and professional customer service. Fitters were on time, friendly and worked with great attention to detail. The fitting is excellent work and also the care and attention to the finishing details. The old door and frame were taken away and the work area was left clean and tidy. The door is very good quality. We have used Ebor Windows previously to replace our back door, and their work was excellent, and we will use again.

From initial contact to fitting and final touches the team at Ebor Windows were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Any cosmetic adjustments were fully discussed along the way. All works were completed in advance of estimated timeline, within costs and to a high standard. Cracking job!

First appointment, to provide quote, made via phone call. Jo was prompt, professional and friendly, asking all relevant questions regarding the product; the quote was received later that day and included current lead times. On accepting the quote we received the contract, which included full details of the patio doors to be fitted. Receipt of our deposit was confirmed. The patio doors were fitted within 6 weeks of the deposit being paid, inline with expected timings. The team fitting the windows arrived on time and completed the job efficiently, asking my opinion on some cosmetic aspects which was appreciated. They treated our property with respect and cleaned up afterwards, taking our old doors away. We received both guarantee and Certass Certification for the work completed. Since the patio doors being fitted they have been tested by a various storms with strong wind and rain. They passed the test! Based upon this experience I would use Ebor windows again.

Work was carried out efficiently and work areas were left very tidy. Any issues were swiftly dealt with. My Parents, Sister and I have all used Ebor windows and have been very satisfied with the work completed.

We have had 11 windows in uPVC and a composite door installed. Customer service has been very good throughout, prompt installation and very friendly and considerate installers. Windows are good quality and installation professionally done with attention to detail, eg correct colour of sealant to match our stonework.

I have just had all my wooden windows replaced by EBor Windows and absolutely thrilled by the standard of their work, from the initial survey to the actual fitting everything has gone very smooth, with minimal disruption and everything cleared away by them. Also lovely people to have in your home doing the job. Could not recommend them highly enough.

Ebor did the important things well - started & finished on time, which was essential to my very tight refurbishment programme and installed the new windows very professionally. The house was empty but I still wanted floors and furniture etc sheeted up & protected. This regime slipped a little toward the end of the job, but for me the overriding issue was completion on time. As the old windows were removed, the inevitable dust was minimised by vacuuming the window reveals. The new windows were then installed very carefully and professionally, not least fitting the internal timber architraves & cills, with minimal collateral damage to plasterwork which they patched up in the few places affected. Happy to recommend Ebor Windows. They are highly professional, did an excellent job on replacing our hall window - including encapsulating the original stained glass window in the new double glazing. The finished work looks fantastic. Jo and her team were friendly and helpful.

We had a PVC door fitted by Ebor Windows. Right from the word go - the process was easy. We called into the showroom to make an enquiry, got a reasonable price, easy as that! Jo was very knowledgeable and down to earth, not pushy in any way and though it was January was honest enough to tell us that we would be looking at early March for fitting. The survey was done a couple of weeks later. On the day of fitting the fitters (Jay and Aaron) were excellent and the door was fitted to a very high standard and finished off so well on the inside that we didn't even need to redecorate. It was nice to have people taking pride in making a nice job. All mess was cleared up and taken away together with the old door. Other than the lovely new door - there was no indication they had ever been here. All done for the agreed price and fitted on the agreed timescale. I couldn't recommend this company enough. We will be getting replacement windows at some point and won't be going anywhere else! A local 5* service.

Ebor windows more than lived up to our expectations, instilling confidence from first contact. We took months to make a decision after our initial quote but there was no pressure or pestering. Once made it was definitely a good decision. We’d been given excellent advice and are so pleased with our new windows and front door. We had been dreading having the work done but Richard and his team were so efficient and friendly and did an excellent job. They kept us informed on progress and cleaned up at the end of each day. If we ever need doors or windows in future I would have no hesitation in using them or recommending them to friends and family.

We had our front door, and door between our dining room and conservatory replaced. Ebor Windows was one of the few companies in the area that actually responded with a quote when requested, and Jo did a very good job of finding a triple pane bifold that fitted in our budget after we met and explained what we were looking for, as well as succinctly explaining what would and wouldn't be possible. On the day, both doors were fitted in the space of just one morning, which I feel was very fast, and we're very pleased with the quality of the final result. The only recommendation I could make for improvement would to keep us updated on when we should expect certain information in the early stages of the process, as I was unsure what timeline to expect e.g. the formal quote, then an expected date for the door fitting until quite late on. It wasn't an issue for the most part as I was confident that it was just a case of waiting for materials to arrive but a heads up that that was the case would be appreciated! Otherwise everything was communicated with us very well in regard to what options we had and what we should expect.

Ebor Windows are certainly good at promoting themselves. I first had Jo out who gave us the ‘family business’ sales pitch and took an interest in our renovation work. I had a quote for a patio and porch door. I was told that Ebor would provide a stay for the patio doors and replace a defective hinge on my windows, nothing was too much trouble. When the work was due to be carried out Ebor had failed to allow for the plaster despite me telling their surveyor meaning the porch door wouldn't fit. They also hadn't brought stays and had a window hinge that was too large. I then received a phone call on the Monday morning. Jo told me that they had a meeting that morning and they had an offer for me, an additional £360 to fit the porch door. I said that I wasn’t prepared to pay that as it wasn’t my fault. By this point I just wanted to work with a company that I had confidence could do the job right, so I said to Jo that I would pay for the patio door installation once the stays had been fitted but I won’t proceed with the porch door and we can walk away at that. “We’ll take that” said Jo, sounding delighted. I then received another call from Jo that afternoon. She was acting aggressively towards me immediately and virtually shouting at me. Apparently, they'd had another meeting with the Director and now wanted me to pay for the door, despite it being their error and not what we agreed. She continued to harass me until I had to hang up to join a work call. Ebor has no integrity.
