Director, Paul Furnival, has been involved since 1980 in replacement windows and continues to bring his expertise to the demanding market for double glazing and uPVC windows in York and the surrounding areas.

They provided a prompt and efficient quotation which was highly competitive and fair. The survey was undertaken a few days later and then fitting was organised around our schedule. From the first visit to measure up for a quote to the end of the installation, everyone was extremely knowledgeable and accurate in their work. The admin was well handled by Jo and the team of fitters worked quickly and efficiently in the installation and in a subsequent service call to adjust one of our patio doors. We love the new patio doors you have fitted to our house. Service was super friendly and helpful right from the start. I was able to visit your showroom to make sure I was happy with our choice and communication throughout was excellent. On the day they were fitted we were told exactly when the job would start and the guys who came to do the fitting were great - full of banter but very professional at the same time. The finished job is high quality and we love the black textured finish. Thanks again for the excellent service.

Ebor windows more than lived up to our expectations, instilling confidence from first contact. We took months to make a decision after our initial quote but there was no pressure or pestering. Once made it was definitely a good decision. We’d been given excellent advice and are so pleased with our new windows and front door. We had been dreading having the work done but Richard and his team were so efficient and friendly and did an excellent job. They kept us informed on progress and cleaned up at the end of each day. If we ever need doors or windows in future I would have no hesitation in using them or recommending them to friends and family.

Ebor did the important things well - started & finished on time, which was essential to my very tight refurbishment programme and installed the new windows very professionally. The house was empty but I still wanted floors and furniture etc sheeted up & protected. This regime slipped a little toward the end of the job, but for me the overriding issue was completion on time. As the old windows were removed, the inevitable dust was minimised by vacuuming the window reveals. The new windows were then installed very carefully and professionally, not least fitting the internal timber architraves & cills, with minimal collateral damage to plasterwork which they patched up in the few places affected. We have used this company before to fit windows and had a very positive experience with them. We re-contacted them to fit doors for us. They were able to quickly explain how the doors were fitted and alleviated concerns we had gained looking at other companies reviews about potential problems with composite doors. They also explained the guarantee system and that we would be fully covered for any product defect. The fitters arrived on time on the nominated day and the team worked quickly and cleanly to finish the job. All waste was cleaned up and the site left as it was before they arrived. The final price did not differ from the quote. Our experience was again that this family firm continues to offer a friendly and ultra-reliable service.

It’s a long time since I have seen a team show such experience, competence and motivation to complete a job to the highest standard. It was obvious that Richard and his team take such a pride in their work and want perfection. The job was not easy. We wanted all our windows updated and every window’s position needed adjusting but Richard and his team took on the challenge with ease. Replastering was done by Richard and the end result really is perfect. The team went the extra mile, flashing was cleaned and fascias replaced; even our front door that was sticking was mended - without me even asking. I am absolutely delighted with the job and highly recommend Ebor Windows.
