Eco Trades South West Ltd

I don't normally take the time to leave reviews but I felt especially compelled to do so with Eco Trades because they were so excellent. I found them through a google search of the local area and they immediately stood out for the reviews they had - they're a local family business and from the off, I knew we were in good hands. They did two visits to the property before the work even began. They wanted to make 100% sure that a heat pump would work for our house - they listened to our concerns/questions about the system and how it would compare to other heating options. They looked at every little detail and we felt so reassured and excited when we then made the decision to proceed. When they were in our home they were consistently respectful of our space (we work from home and have two small children) - keeping things tidy, working around us etc. They worked really hard, all day and were just genuinely nice people to be around. The end result is such a high standard of work and works perfectly so far. We'll see how it performs in winter but I have no major concerns based on its performance so far. It feels a no brainer to be honest if you are looking to upgrade your heating system (at a time when there is a £9k grant for certain households). If you're getting the work done, you won't be let down by Eco Trades. They've been immense.

Asked for a quote for an ASHP to replace a Rayburn that my elderly father was struggling to operate. Vicky and Patrick turned up on time, measured, and quoted. I had to pause accepting and moving forward, as Dad was not convinced re the merits of the ASHP. 18 months later, the Rayburn has become completely unmanageable for him, so called again; V and P came out again, no moans, no issues. I chose Eco Trades SW based on these interactions rather than just cost and was not disappointed. Install was great, turned up on time as arranged, clean, polite, intelligent workers. Installers were happy to discuss requirements, worked around Dad and myself to accommodate appointments and reduce disruption. Work is neat and thoughtful. Replaced a couple of bits of existing plumbing that could have easily been charged for, they just got on and did it. The installers were supplied a potentially defective water tank; they dealt with this, making sure a new one was supplied rather than risk continuing. Supplied some rads free of charge. Assisted immediately regarding an (as it turned out) unrelated tap issue following install. Installers demonstrated the system and the handover pack supplied with all information, warranty, etc. Excellent communication throughout. On time, on budget. House now sat at a steady 23deg, Dad is toasty and I'm not having to visit every day to feed the solid fuel beast... A huge thanks to all at ETSW for making it so easy- a gem of a family business.

Really really happy with our decision to use Eco Trades to fit a full central heating system and heat pump in our Victorian terraced house. The whole team were so helpful - from helping us source radiators at a great price to rethinking how the hot water tank controls were installed to give us better use of the kitchen, at every step they worked to get the best possible result for us. Throughout the work they did an amazing job at the end of every day to put the house back in order for us in the evening, which was very appreciated! Communication was great and they were quick to answer questions + make changes when needed. The installation has been done to a really high standard and the heat pump is running well. We now can't wait for winter to get to use the radiators!

They have just finished fitting my solar panels and battery installation. The process was explained clearly to me and the position of the battery box location and the solar panels agreed. They arrived promptly the first morning and worked through the day fixing the solar panels in place. Connecting them to the battery and inverter box. On the morning of the second day they finished the connection to the mains and set up an app to show how it was all working. They also installed covering around the solar panels to restrict birds from nesting. A very friendly and professional job well done. Highly recommend using them

Very happy with our decision to use Eco Trades. Vicky was great at accommodating our schedule and some other complications caused by our situation. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
