We chose Ecowise for a number of reasons, which reviews, accreditation and professionalism. We wanted a local company to easily sort out problems should they occur (there were none). Quote from Lee Reynolds on Tuesday was reasonable and decided to go ahead, on reflection this was a good move because they were one hundred percent good to their word. Scaffolding went up the following bank holiday! Work started on Tuesday 8am and by 3pm they had more or less finished and scaffolding down on Wednesday. Every concern about wiring routing was addressed and apart from looking at the roof or in the under-stairs cupboard, there are no visible signs of the installation, brilliant! To be fair the house layout helped, but they put a lot of work in as well, confirming I'd chosen the right company. Communication before, during and after the job was very good. Since installation we have fed about 420 kWh back to the grid (which we are now getting paid for) and have consumed virtually nothing from the grid over 1.5 months. We used to worry about the children leaving devices on, running around turning everything off the moment it wasn't needed. Now we don’t worry. Do more washing / dishwasher loads, using a lot less gas into the bargain as well by heating water through other means. Only regret is not doing it sooner.

We wanted to know what the cost of putting solar panels on the house would be. We opted for Ecowise Renewables Ltd as they had good reviews. A energy advisor Peter Storey arrived at the agreed time and explained the system and was very knowledgeable he answered all my questions and I must say I trusted him. He carried out a survey of my house and said we could fit eleven or twelve max solar panels on the roof with an inverter and battery. The price was agreed and deposit paid. The installation was carried out three weeks later, a team turned up and started at 8am and were completed by 4pm. Kris the electrician explained how the system worked and also downloaded an app on my phone so we can monitor it. The workmen made sure they left the site clean and tidy. A week later we ordered a second battery as the single battery was being filled to the max by the free energy out there (the sun). I know we are in the summer months, so we will see a lot of sun. Our electricity cost was between £30-35 per week before the solar panels, this last week it was under £13. Great job Ecowise.

12 panel system with battery installed over 2 days. Scaffolding erected day before to minimise delay. Friendly helpful workmen. Minor installation issues dealt with efficiently and corrected even on a Bank Holiday, listened to our requirements. Electrics installation was not easy on our property but electrician persevered and used his initiative and all additional fuse box etc. was accommodated in original meter box. Power generation achieved immediately and app installed to allow us to monitor. 94 percent of our power from panels over the first month

The team arrived promptly on schedule. The work was conducted with minimum disruption and is very neat and tidy. The system is performing well and as predicted. Would recommend using this company.

Contacted Ecowise after research from customer reviews and Which reviews. Arranged an appointment for a visit consultation with one of the Directors, who arrived on time and went through our options. Answered all our prepared questions with actual facts and real data and at no point made us feel pressurised. Happy with the quotation and arranged for installation which was performed in double quick time. The team arrived early Monday morning and completed that day. Very helpful, obliging and professional team. The system is working very well and any additional after sales questions are answered promptly. Very happy with dealing with Ecowise from sales, installation, and support and pleased to have chosen them for the work.

We had considered solar panels for so long. Too long. But with electricity prices the way are, and the use of a battery, now seemed the time to act. We’re glad we did. They came around the week before and discussed our location (S.E facing), options, price and potential savings. The salesman/surveyor did a very good job we thought. We felt reassured, especially as we could seek immediate references from one or two nearby people who had recently used them. Pricing seemed reasonable. Everything went well. And like clockwork. First the scaffolding crew. Scaffolding went up on one day. What an art that is. The team to put up the 13 panels came the next morning, the same day their electrician installed the battery and inverter - and got us all set up on the app. Then the next day the scaffolders came back to take away their framework. All very efficient. Done by good teams of guys. The app works very well at providing the data on output, use, battery..export. It’s very informative. The panels were tested by some heavy winds immediately after installation. I was glad to see everything was still nicely in place after! We received the installation handover pack a week after installation by email. MCS Certificate, warranty documents, other docs - runs to 60 pages. All in all, very impressed. Quickly up and running with no problems.

We have been very impressed by the work undertaken by professional and friendly team. The whole system was explained to us clearly and all our options by very knowledgeable advisor. The company were very flexible when we had to delay the fitting and kept us fully informed at each step of the way including how to get the best from the system. We are very pleased and happy to recommend to others.

We asked Ecowise Renewables Ltd to install solar panels, anti-pigeon mesh, and battery for excess energy in our garage. We were impressed by the sales representative and the information he gave us. There was no hard sell unlike the other companies we spoke to. The sales rep was clear what we could expect from the panels and listened to our needs. A solution was put together and he recommended a bigger battery which would store power to use through the night which other companies did not suggest. In hindsight, the choice of battery was correct as it powers our home throughout the night and still has capacity in the morning. If we had gone with a different contractor we would not have had enough capacity. Despite the larger battery the quote was still extremely competitive with flexible installation slots. All contractors arrived on time and were courteous and respectful of our property. They explained everything as they installed the units. All installed equipment is top quality. The units on the roof look nice and tidy and the wire mesh was installed immediately after fitting panels. Installation of the panels and battery took one day. (Scaffolding was erected the day before and removed the day after). The company inspected the final work and have been in touch since. Our electric bill has significantly decreased. We would highly recommend this company. They made us feel valued throughout the process.
