Edge Fencing

Our second use of Edge for garden fencing and it was again a good, efficient service at an acceptable price.

Edge fencing replaced a rotting old garden fence with new high quality panels, posts and gravel boards. The work was completed efficiently to a very high standard and looks superb. The team provide expertise and care, leaving the site clean and tidy. An excellent company that I readily recommend.

We found Andrew from edge fencing on this site. After reading the reviews Edge Fencing sounded that they were the guys to call. Andrew came round promptly and discussed our ideas and with his input we now have a great looking fence and gate which was not a straightforward job. His team were excellent, worked very hard and kept us informed throughout the works. So impressed with their work we are now having a new lawn and sleepers etc. Our neighbours have all commented on how nice it looks and one has already asked for his services. Thanks guys great job. Andrew was excellent. My very old fence and gate were damaged beyond repair following another storm. As a pensioner, cost was as important as the quality of work. Andrew took this into account so that only necessary work was carried out. This was done expertly in a timely manner with no fuss. All the rubbish was cleared and the garden left clean and tidy

The replacement of our leaning fence post, in what was a very awkward position, was completed quickly and carefully by workmen who were both skilled and courteous. This followed a very helpful site visit from the Director, Andrew Thompson, who explained clearly what the work would entail and how long it would take. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. No hidden costs, no hassle, and with polite workers who cracked on. I'd use Edge again for any fencing related jobs with confidence.

Andrew and his team were very professional in all our dealings. Andrew explained everything that would be done, including any potential problems that they might have. I had to go to work, but felt very comfortable leaving the team to get on with the fence.

I asked Andrew to quote to replace some damaged fence panels at my rental property. Andrew replied promptly and provided a comprehensive quote, explaining the cost breakdown, potential variations, and gave me an approximate idea of when the job could be completed. The company did offer to match any genuine comparable quote but I did not get another quote as I had confidence in this company from the communication I had from them. It turned out that Andrew had some time available earlier than expected which was great. The work was finished to a very good standard and the lady who rents the house said that the team were very polite. Would definitely recommend.

This job was a challenge - different ground levels along a slope by some steps; trees and bushes to remove; a trench to be dug; a bamboo protective barrier to be installed behind sleepers and then a fence built down the slope. We had used Edge Fencing before to replace other garden fencing, so we knew Andrew and his team would do a good job. They turned up as promised and completed the work to a high standard at the agreed price.

We received excellent advice from Andrew during the quotation process and really appreciated that he was happy to take the time to discuss different options. The price quoted was competitive and, while we made a couple of changes during the works, any changes to price were clearly discussed. Andrew's intallation team did a brilliant job and clearly cared about the quality of their work, as well as being very pleasant to talk to. Don't you just love it when someone does what they say they're going to do! From quick response to enquiry to prompt, acceptable quotation to meeting agreed start and finish date. I needed a gate and fencing to two sides of a medium sized, gently sloping garden. I was pleased when Andrew suggested Jacksons Fencing products and how to bring my vision to life. Andrew contacted me the day before to check if I was available for them to fix my fence (I was due for a visit in May). As it was a relatively small job he managed to fit me in with one days notice. Excellent job done, and I will definitely use the company again in the future.

Andrew's team were absolutely great! Arrived exactly as scheduled and even though it was pouring with rain and the ground was a quagmire, they quickly started dismantling the old rotten fence and battled to remove the decaying concrete posts in a most professional manner. Boards put down to protect the grass and pieces of old fence used as well, so no damage noted when they completed the job after three hectic days. It was a complex job requiring different height panels to compensate for a sloping garden, so much adjustment needed. Fortunately, weather on days two & three was a lot better but they still had to cope with post holes that filled with water the moment they dug them! Nothing fazed them! Lovely men who took great care and pride in their work. Competitively priced and Andrew provided good advice on how best to meet our needs. No hesitation in recommending Edge Fencing.

I've used Andrew for all my garden repairs and improvements and will continue to do so. He is a very genuine person, I'd have no hesitation in recommending him if you are in his catchment and can be patient for him to fit you in.

Had a small fencing job, a broken fence post and a couple of loose ones. Have used Edge previously and know they do a good job. Called Andrew and he was in the area so managed to pop past and see what needed to be done. We discussed what needed to be done and Andrew was very helpful with his advice. I had a quote that evening, which was very reasonable. Job was booked in a for a couple of days later. Marc and Garfield arrived exactly when Andrew said they would. Job was completed in a couple of hours. Neat work and all the debris was removed and the garden left neat and tidy. I can highly recommend Andrew and his team. Will definitely use again if I need.
