Nick and his team fully renovated two bathrooms for us. One was more complicated with a wet room shower, floor to ceiling tiling, recessed tiled shelves, wall hung toilet and underfloor heating plumbed into our multi-zoned central heating. Nick’s quote was similar to other two we obtained, but it was obvious Nick knew what he was doing, and we were confident he would produce a great result. Nick provided a plan, kept us informed throughout and work was completed on time within the agreed dates. As with any build, you don’t know what you’ll find until you rip things out. But Nick dealt with unexpected issues calmly. Where decisions were required, he explained the options carefully and would give recommendations based on his experience; focussing on the outcome for us, rather than what was easiest for him. The team arrived on time each day, were courteous and always very tidy. We are very happy with the results and I would fully recommend him.

I contacted Nick to do some underfloor heating. Unfortunately I had some other costs arise before I could commit to the project so I had to cancel my plans. However, Nick’s assessment of the task ahead was professional and enlightening. I would be happy to contract him for further work in future.

Nick installed and serviced heating boiler etc for a few years. He responded to a breakdown in the system very quickly and diagnosed the fault as a pump failure. He took the trouble to source a replacement which he collected and installed. Work completed and heating system left in working order within a couple of hours. Can highly recommend Nick.

I have been using Nick for a number of years now,always turns up when arranged.i had an old floor standing boiler & immersion tank with shower pumps etc which needed updating as not very efficient.we agreed a 40kw vaillant combi would be a good option.Nick arrived on time on the installation day with Mike.the work was done in the 2 days as advised when quoted which was great as I didn't need to book any extra time off work.a fantastic job,very neat & tidy,all waste removed.very happy with the end result,powerful showers without pumps etc and rads Heat up within minutes,used to take at least 30 mins before,also energy costs are already way lower as not heating a tank of water all the time.i would not hesitate to recommend Nick to anyone,very good from start to finish

I'm extremely pleased with the service that Nick Edwards and his electrician colleague provided recently. They were very accommodating, fitting me in at quite short notice, and worked together really effectively to solve a complicated problem with my electric immersion heater. I cannot praise this company highly enough: All of my heating/boiler/shower systems were in a mess. Nick calmly and cheerfully sorted out everything for me - replacing two pumps, a shower and thoroughly serviced my boiler. Unlike other tradespeople I have had, he thoroughly tested everything, including my gas supply (which no other plumber/heating engineer has ever done). I have had some dreadful experiences in the past and feel very lucky to have found him. He works in a very tidy way and his attitude is friendly and reassuring. Everything was done to an agreed schedule and reasonable budget with adequate communication in advance.

Nick priced up the bathroom refit and then quickly provided his quote (which he stuck to). We were then in communication several times to agree fixtures and schedule (he had to fit around my tiler's availability). Nick and Kevin turned up on time each day, and worked hard to complete the job. They were flexible with how things were done, accommodating my requests including some minor extra work. Overall the result is very professional looking and plumbing work has been finished to a high standard. I have used Edwards Heating for a number of domestic jobs over the past few years - both gas and plumbing - always been impressed at Nick's knowledge and professional attitude. He is also a friendly guy!

I used Nick for the first time to convert my old loft tanks and hot water tank system to a combi boiler. I was a little concerned as I had two showers but Nick explained the potential impact of the change and I have to say as my cold water tank was lowered many users ago due to an attic conversion I have suffered from poor shower performance but not anymore, I now have two great showers running off the mains! Nick did the job over two days, was very aware of covid precautions and put down carpet protectors etc. He just got on with the job and I am very happy with the end result.

We contacted Nick as we needed to replace our very old boiler. From the very start Nick was extremely knowledgeable and carefully explained to us the best options of boiler for our requirements. On the day he started work he was punctual and firstly made sure he protected all of the carpets around the work area from any dirt and debris etc. He was very thorough and competent throughout the job and kept me informed with the various sequences involved as well as keeping things tidy. On completion of the installation, Nick then carefully demonstrated the boiler program and talked us through the user manual with attention to detail. We needed an older boiler and water softener replaced by modern ones. The work was done professionally and to what looks like a high standard. It was carried out over 4 days and the odd tweaks and modifications to what was originally planned were dealt with easily. Nick installed a Nest thermostat and performed a boiler service for us in our new (to us) house. The original installation was a little fiddly but Nick made fast work of it and careful explanation of how it all works. Service revealed a couple of issues that required fixing. I booked Nick to service a very old gas fire which had not been used for at least 13 years. He arrived promptly and was very pleasant. He examined the fire thoroughly to check that it would still be safe and legal to use before going ahead with the servicing. He also gave me some good tips and advice. The charge was reasonable. Will definitely call Nick when I need a gas engineer again.

Contacted Nick after being let down by my boiler installer several times. Nick was very honest with regards to how busy he was and that he was booked for several weeks however he still made the time to come around and look at what was needed to be done.He had a cancellation and was able to install the fire just over a week later after his first visit. He kept me updated as to his expected arrival and informed me of any delays. The price I was quoted was as expected and there was no hidden extras or charges. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. He did a first class job, very clean and tidy and respectful of my home. I would thoroughly recommend him, he is reliable, efficient and his communication skills are second to none! He's an absolute star !

I phone Nick on a day of terrible weather conditions when my boiler had packed up in the extreme cold. He promised to be with me the same day and gave me an estimated time of arrival. He actually phoned me later on in the day to check it was OK if he arrived earlier than previously agreed. He arrived on time and immediately got to the root of the problem. He resolved the immediate problem and offered suggestions to resolve the underlying design issue. He was extremely tidy. You would hardly had known he had been. The bill was extremely reasonable. No stupidly high emergency call-out rates here! Nick is definitely getting my business in future.

Nick was really great and we would highly recommend him to anyone needing work to their boiler or radiators. We had the full works...new boiler, replaced all radiators and got set up with Nest and Nick was very helpful with advice and help whenever we needed it, as well as lots of patience during our indecision! We had three quotes for the job and Nick by far felt the most knowledgeable, genuine and trustworthy. He worked really hard on his own (his apprentice was ill) for 3 solid days of work and we're really pleased with the job. And so far so good with having a nice toasty house! We'll definitely be using Nick again for any heating and plumbing work we need doing. Thanks Nick!

We had an old boiler which was playing up and needed replacing and we needed a radiator replaced with a new towel radiator. Nick from Edwards Heating provided a very reasonable quote for various options that would work with our house (a 4 bed terrace). Booked us in and turned up bang on time. Installation of combi boiler and radiator went well and boiler is working great. Nick is a pleasure to have around, works quickly and was very careful to not damage or make the house dirty (he put coverings over hall carpet etc) and he cleaned up everything afterwards. Fantastic service. Would recommend him to anyone. Invoicing by email and bacs payment is very handy too.

New replacement combi boiler installed in same location (3-bed detached property). The installer was very knowledgable in the regulations. Helped me to choose the right solution for my house without trying to push a particular solution which suited his method of work. He gave me various options and the prices all broken down and itemised on paper. I knew how much labour and various materials were costing me as part of the invoice. Very professional in working standards. Quoted me a price very promptly after I contacted him via the Vaillant website of approved installers (within 2-days). I would 100% recommend this installer. Competitive price and similar to other quotes I received. He works very hard and I was impressed with the speed of his work. Prepared invoices very efficiently straight from his mobile phone. I paid directly by bank transfer when the work was finished. This is how it should be done - complete the work and pay the installer. He also took the time to explain the boiler workings, instructions and documentation I need to keep for future reference and servicing. I was also working myself on other plumbing within the house on the same day (DIY works). He was happy to work around my timings and schedules so I could complete this at the same time. Excellent trader overall and easy going.
