Electech Installations installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 expansion pack for me, wall-mounted alongside my existing Powerwall 3 unit. From the start they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Communication was excellent, and they were happy to answer questions outside normal working hours, including evenings and weekends. Their advertised price was extremely competitive - I couldn’t find another installer online who could beat it. That initially made me a little sceptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service and professionalism were exactly what you would hope for. They kept me informed ahead of the visit, confirming the date and time and providing an estimated arrival time on the day. The team arrived when they said they would and carried out the work efficiently and neatly. The installation was completed to the agreed price with no issues at all. Everything went smoothly and I’m very happy with the result. I would be happy to recommend Electech Installations to anyone considering a similar installation.

We had solar panels installed by Electech. From first contact, they were clear and helpful, explaining the options and advising what they thought would work well for us. At no point were they pushy nor did they hassle me while we considered. Installation was easy, straightforward and they tidied up after themselves. Everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed watching the solar gain over the whole year - particularly the summer. The aftersales service has been really excellent. I've rung them to ask for advice on how best I can optimise my settings and they've been able to offer advice on my electricity tariff as well. All round, I'm really pleased with their service, cost, and support.

Work to install Tesla battery carried out ahead of schedule, and on-budget. The install team were open to my suggestions about where to position the battery and carried out the work within a few hours. Very pleased with the quality of the install and overall service.

I went out to three installers out of the three Electech were by far the ones who understood what was necessary to install and complete the installation to our requirements. The whole installation was only achievable if they could come up with a route for the cable installation the was inconspicuous and did impact on the structure of the house. They achieved this and we agreed to have the installation. We had the Sigenergy battery system. It's a very neat piece of equipment and easy to understand via they app. Electech talk through and explained all aspects and the use of solar panels, batteries, and the information to be able to contact our electricity supplier to discuss the correct tariff. All in all we feel that Electech, from the installation team to the office staff, have given us the installation we expected and are very happy with the end result. Thank you Electech.

Electech installed our solar panels and Tesla Powerwall and we’re really pleased with the overall experience. The installation team were punctual, polite and clearly experienced. The workmanship is neat and everything looks very tidy, including inside our media cupboard where they installed the Gateway / isolation / control hardware. They also cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed. As can sometimes happen with roof installations, a couple of tiles were cracked during the work, but these were replaced promptly and without any fuss. The lead guy had to go to 6 different places to find matching tiles which only proves more how diligent they are. They took responsibility and wanted the job finished properly. We did have a slight issue with the scaffolding company not turning up as expected on 2 occasions, but to be fair this was not a company connected to Electech, only a local company that they booked in to do our scaffold, and they chased this for us and followed up afterwards to ensure the scaffolding was removed. We really appreciated them taking ownership of that rather than leaving us to deal with it. All certification and paperwork (MCS certificate, G99 approval and export MPAN documentation) was provided promptly and without us needing to chase. Communication throughout was clear and professional. Overall, it felt like a well-managed installation from start to finish and we would happily recommend Electech to anyone considering solar and battery storage.

Finding the right Solar Panel installer can be stressful but It wasn’t for us. Lee was great giving us all the information we need on getting the right system and Martyn was always happy answering our questions. Definitely recommend them to anyone who thinks of getting Solar panels installed.

I received excellent service from Electech when installing a new Growatt 6.5kW battery to complement my existing battery of the same specification. After finding out the battery was being discounted, I contacted the company that had originally installed my system. Rather than helping, they attempted to persuade me to remove my relatively new setup and replace it with a different brand altogether. The experience felt overly sales-driven and left me uncomfortable. I then came across Electech, and the difference was clear from the outset. Martyn and Tom were professional, factual and genuinely helpful. They gave me the time and space to consider my options and carry out further research, without any pressure. They were also able to supply the exact battery I wanted and offered guaranteed installation, which gave me real peace of mind. At no point did I feel pushed into making a decision. The installation was carried out to a high standard, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I would happily recommend Electech to others.

From the moment I contacted Electech Essex Ltd, they were so easy to deal with, friendly, efficient and helpful. We asked for a quotation for a Tesla Powerwall 3, expansion pack and gateway, and the quotation was very competitive indeed and very prompt. We asked for a lead time which they stated, and when we asked them to do the work, this lead time was stuck to exactly. The weather couldn't have been worse when Archie and Kye installed the batteries and gateway, but they were efficient, cheerful and worked seamlessly together doing a first class job, and I have to say I am fussy having built the house myself so was impressed. The paperwork and communication with Electech was brilliant. All in all, I will definitely be using this company again as we will be moving in around 5 years, and good companies like this are very hard to find.

From start to finish these guys were excellent! From taking 4 months to decide over the quote back and forth adding bits etc to the installation and them correcting the previous contractors faults! 10/10

From initial contact through to work completion, communication was brilliant. Response time was class leading. We had to reschedule the installation as they were running late on another job but great communication and empathy made this bearable. I am glad I waited. On installation day, the te team turned up in time, they were friendly but focused. They made sure to locate the Tesla battery where I wanted and managed to complete the job quickly, leaving the place very tidy indeed. All at the most competitive price I could find anywhere…..and I did try😂.

We have used Electech to install a battery and more photovoltaic panels to add to our existing solar tiles in 2024 and were very pleased with the quality of their work. They rectified a small problem within 24 hours of installing the extra panels and recently have been very helpful when we changed our tariff to charge the batteries with cheap electricity. We have been able to access the office every time we need advice and they have always been most helpful.

Electech is, hands down, the best customer experienced I've had from a small trader/builder. I found them via Trusted Traders and the whole experience, from beginning to end, has been outstanding. They helped me design the system as I wanted it, answered my questions, made their recommendations and respected my decisions,. To top it all up, they even provided the best quote! The installation (13 solar panels + Powerwall 3 + extension pack) went smoothly. They ran the unusually long cable exactly the way I wanted it, left everything tidy - except for a few cable ties here and there :-) - and it all worked beautifully from day one. They also spoke directly to Tesla when I complained that the battery wasn't behaving the way I wanted. The Tesla team provided a quick update to the software and it's all perfect now. A few weeks after the installation, Tom from their support still replies to me almost immediately whenever I message him with a question or concern. An additional nice detail: they originally quoted for 14 panels and without considering that the cable would need to be longer than usual. Still, when only panels fit on my roof, they discounted the price of the panel from the invoice. No questions asked. Well done to the whole Electech team.

Great service and experience overall. Prompt replies to emails and timely re-bookings due to rainy weather. On the install day all went smooth - although the cable runs to the meter/electric cabinet were relatively short, the new installation had to be carried out with consideration to the previous electric cabling in the wall and the proximity to the gas supply. The technicians took necessary time and showed diligence to carry out all the measurements and consulted with us on where pre-existing installs were so that the new cable runs could be fitted perfectly, which they were! Both the indoor and outdoor cable management was completed exceptionally neat and I appreciated the smoothness and snag free process - which one could see relies on a work philosophy of both being proud of ones profession as well as enjoying it at the same time! We know who we will be contacting should we decide for an Expansion Pack to the PW3. Providing the Solar Installer's trade a great Service!!

We had a large installation of 3 Powerwalls and 50 panels. Everything from the initial quote to completion was superb. Great comms, super professional guys. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Got 26 panels and 2 Tesla Powerwalls installed, and having had a lot of quotes was super refreshing to come across Electech. Who were just straight to the point, there was just no time wasted all round quote was given to me within a day. Price was really competitive, just fair and to the point especially in the world now where every can share quotes online. Process there in was very simple, I did want more panels than suggested so a site visit was scheduled. Everything was agreed and within a month installation started. The whole thing was over in 2 days, the team were very professional. The work was very tidy and neat. I wanted to have the batteries in the garage but at first glance it didn't look possible but they made it work. Nothing I can complain about, even the payment not everyone accepted credit card for the full payment but Electech did, which made financing the project super easy. Having used them now I'm convinced they're the best company out there for solar and battery.

Took me a while to track down what i considered to be a good candidate for our solar installation. From the very beginning this firm was a pleasure to deal with. No hard sale, and no pressure from anyone to process and seal the deal. Installation date was delayed as they had overrun on a previous job but that gave peace of mind they would stay and finish my project. Kept me informed immediately of their delay of 1 day. Constant communication through the whole process and always answered the phone when i needed simple help. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all a fantastic company who will look after you. I had a fantastic experience with Electech Installations. They sourced and installed a new battery for my solar panel system, and I couldn't be happier. The installation itself was superb - the technicians were incredibly professional, quick, and left the workspace perfectly clean. Throughout the entire process, their communication was exceptional, keeping me informed every step of the way. My anxiety of roof leaks has completely disappeared. We moved into a new build 6 months ago. The developers didn't install solar. After months of research I came across Electech. Tom was brilliant at trying to find the right system for me. Not pushing whatever product they wanted to sell. Once we found the right product and i was ready to go ahead. They came the following week. No long drawn out processes, everything was done directly with Tom. It was brilliant. But that is just sales. I was of course skeptical about workmanship, especially horror stories about issues with roofs. Worse still this will likely void my new roof 10 year guarantee - so i have a lot to lose. But no. Jack, Dom and team arrived on site, and my worries vanished. They were meticulous at making sure everything was just right. If i had to nit pick, there was one set of cables they might have been able to conduit in under the garage step. But thats it. A massive 30 pannel installation, + battery and gateway, and the worst thing i can find is a single wonky cable that will take me 5 mins to fix. They are brilliant, have already recommended them to my neighbours and family. So have no issues recommending them here. For a genuinely thoughtful sales process and a stress free installation. Use them! *They were also surprisingly competitive on price. So een if you are on a budget i'd recommend getting a quote.

Electech excelled themselves in every single aspect from their customer care - pre. during and post installation, positioning, scheduling and execution of the installation and software of their Solar Photovoltaic system, through to identifying a non-related issue and sharing their expertise with another service provider in resolving the issue. Without hesitation I absolutely recommend all personnel of Electech and send them the highest accolades for the quality of their products, communication, customer care, patience, understanding - such a privilege and joy to have them install the system.
