A 6.4KWh solar system 14 panels on a flat roof plus a sigen inverter 10KW battery. They turned up when they said they would got all the work done in a day. Where really helpful with a pre-site visit arranging where the batter/inverter unit would sit. Extremely helpful doing the paperwork to get connected to the Grid and explained the process for registering with the energy provider and UK power networks. They even managed to install it a couple of weeks earlier than expected so we can have the benefit of extra solar generation. Really helpful during the quotation phase when we where unsure about the number of panels and size of the battery required. If you are considering a solar installation I would and have recommended them.

Electech Installation recently completed the installation of my solar panels and battery storage system. Throughout the process, the team was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Their quotation was competitively priced and they took time to explain the available options and answer any questions I had before work commenced. A particular thanks to Lee, who was my main point of contact throughout the project. From my initial enquiry through to completion, he was patient, responsive, knowledgeable and kept me informed at every stage, making the whole process straightforward and easy to follow. The installation was carried out within the agreed timeframe and budget, with clear and consistent communication throughout. The team arrived as scheduled, worked efficiently and conducted themselves professionally at all times. What stood out most was the combination of technical knowledge, competitive pricing and a straightforward, customer-focused approach. I felt well informed throughout the project. As the system has only recently been commissioned, it is still early days in terms of assessing long-term performance and aftercare. However, everything has been operating as expected so far, and my experience to date has been entirely positive. Overall I am very pleased with the service provided and the quality of the installation.

Anyone interested in getting solar i would recommend these guys. Not only was the quote and equipment competitive but they were supportive the whole way along, had patience and the guys on install day were very respectful and polite as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

With continuous problems re loss of power from 11yr old LG Solar Panels & Inverter I discovered Electec Installations on Which Trusted Trader - excellent reviews. Tom in Sales arranged an inspection within 3 days. Technician, Kai, was polite, respectful explaining his findings in clear layman’s terms. I appreciated his intelligent, efficient and helpful assessment of present fault(s) & use of my Enlighten App as a learning tool. He noted my LUX Batteries had been incorrectly wired, resulting in low storage. He corrected the fault & vast improvement was visible within 30 mins on app. Having inspected the condition/output of old solar panels (no protection mesh & micro inverters stuck on with gaffer tape!) Kai suggested a panel upgrade to include tidying up wiring from the inverter to the meter board. I accepted their quotation of £5200 to decommission/dispose of old Panels/Mounting System; Install 8 Jinko 450w Solar Panels, including all cabling & accessories. Kai, Mitchel and Demetriou arrived promptly. Extremely efficient & respectful of my home. Careful planning = No scaffolding required. Stuck to the schedule, working as a team under Kai’s proficient leadership. Hard working; finished on time and proficiently tidied up & vacuumed. E.I. was honest in their appraisal; stayed within my budget; no hard sell. Always treated me with respect, patience and in a friendly manner. Thank u Martyn for helping re-negotiate the FiT contract with EoN. Electric usage with Octopus is now almost 0! Would highly recommend them.

We employed Electech to install 14 solar panels and a Tesla battery system. The company came recommended by a neighbour who had used them. Pre-install emails and communications were good, and questions answered promptly. Scaffolding was up a little longer than intended, but was erected/dismantled efficiently. Fitting crew were polite and worked steadily, despite changes having to be made on-site to the configuration of the panels owing to space limitation on our roofs. System is now up and running and seems to be working well. We now await certification to start exporting to the grid. I would thoroughly recommend Electech as a professional and efficient installer.

Electech installed 18 Aiko panels with Tigo optimisers, an inverter, a battery and a gateway (all Fox). I selected them against several other bidders because they were very responsive to my many questions, their price was competitive (though not the cheapest), they have in-house installers (not subcontractors) and of course because they are a Which? Trusted Trader. They installed the system in a single day (it took about six hours) and they took care to make a neat job: for instance they hid the electrical cabling behind my gutter downpipe. Before they left they set me up on the Fox and Tigo apps so I can monitor my system. I have had the system running without any problems for four weeks now but I'm confident that if I do have any issues they will give me the support I need, based on other reviews. All in all, highly recommended.

I was a bit anxious that a distant business could be difficult to work with but not at all. Better price for better spec than the three local businesses I approached despite distance (Essex to Dorset). Once I accepted the quote the booking was within days, and the team started early morning and everything neat, tidy and handover completed that afternoon. Very polite and friendly bunch of people, in person and over the phone. The use of Sigenergy has also proven beneficial, the Facebook group is very informative and the system is very easy to use. I’ve no hesitation in recommending them to any of my friends and neighbours. They’d arranged scaffolding to be done by local firm who were also efficient and friendly. So no significant disruption and I was benefitting from the investment within days of making the decision to go for it.

In October 2025,my aim was to max out solar production and add battery storage on my property in Ramsgate through a second system in parallel to a May 2014 16 panel 4kW system installed by a different firm. My aim was to provide a rapid ROI, eliminate future electricity bills and develop a reliable income stream in our retirement years. ElecTech added 31 panels, initially, but then, in December, a further 20 panels, on multiple buildings. Due to the number of arrays and desire to maximize production, I needed two full Tesla Powerwall batteries (6MPPTs). ElecTech also added a Tesla EV Wall Connector 3. All works were carried out efficiently and at very competitive prices. Post-installation support was exceptional. I separately commissioned them to install a second array on my daughter's new build home in Larkfield, Kent (20 panels in four rows on a very challenging 47.5 degree slope roof). Exceptional skill was required to achieve that. That also involved a Tesla Powerwall 3 and Tesla battery. All these works were done with great customer service, cleanliness and aftercare. I'm now considering the possibility of having this firm carry out further works on my property in Ramsgate, after extensive further construction of outbuildings: a third system that would require further DNO increases in permitted export and raise my total panel count to 93 with an annual production of nearly 40 megawatts. I wouldn't dream of getting any other firm to do that work.

Electech Installations installed a Tesla Powerwall 3 expansion pack for me, wall-mounted alongside my existing Powerwall 3 unit. From the start they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Communication was excellent, and they were happy to answer questions outside normal working hours, including evenings and weekends. Their advertised price was extremely competitive - I couldn’t find another installer online who could beat it. That initially made me a little sceptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service and professionalism were exactly what you would hope for. They kept me informed ahead of the visit, confirming the date and time and providing an estimated arrival time on the day. The team arrived when they said they would and carried out the work efficiently and neatly. The installation was completed to the agreed price with no issues at all. Everything went smoothly and I’m very happy with the result. I would be happy to recommend Electech Installations to anyone considering a similar installation.

We had solar panels installed by Electech. From first contact, they were clear and helpful, explaining the options and advising what they thought would work well for us. At no point were they pushy nor did they hassle me while we considered. Installation was easy, straightforward and they tidied up after themselves. Everything worked perfectly and we enjoyed watching the solar gain over the whole year - particularly the summer. The aftersales service has been really excellent. I've rung them to ask for advice on how best I can optimise my settings and they've been able to offer advice on my electricity tariff as well. All round, I'm really pleased with their service, cost, and support.
