We booked Grant and Elementis Boiler Experts following a lot of research, however, the company are a Which recommended trader and Grant was very personable when quoting for the job. We had a Potterton Powermax boiler replaced with an Ideal Logic boiler, which was placed on the top floor of a three storey house. Grant was really clear with what work would be completed and stuck with the agreed date. Grant worked with his brother and they were clean, tidy and explained things are the job progressed. There was a hitch when the roofer let them down to put the flue in, however this was fully explained and we made the decision to have no hot water for the weekend rather than agree another date. The job was priced reasonably and included the installation of a Hive thermostat that we purchased separately. A great company and one that we will use again in the future.

What is better than a plumber? Answer: A LOCAL plumber. A couple of weeks ago I discovered I had a water tank leak and I had no hot water. I telephoned several recommended plumbers, one of whom said he could get to me in 3-4 weeks! I needed someone much sooner. Grant Chaney was recommended as a local plumber with a good reputation in our Village. I left a message for Grant. He responded and fitted in a visit at the end of the same day on his way home. He assessed the situation, made recommendations and sent quotes for various options the same evening. After considering the options, I accepted one and Grant fitted me in his diary for the following week to replace my boiler and pipework What joy! He came when he said, with his brother, and they worked solidly ensuring I had a water supply at the end of the first day. The job was completed at the end of the second day, all working perfectly. I contacted Grant from Elementis Boiler Experts after looking at online reviews. I wanted my boiler replaced, Grant presented a range of options to me. I selected an option, Grant scheduled the work date with me. They arrived on time and installed the new boiler to a very high standard. Once the work was completed they cleaned the work area and removed all old parts. Grant gave me an overview of the new boiler and control programmer. Grant 1st attended to our boiler on 20th Feb. The boiler was serviced & he also quickly identified what the fault that was causing us to experience intermittent hot water. He ordered the part & then attended, again, on 22nd Feb to fix the fault. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable & efficient & we now have continuous hot water. We would definitely use him again.

Great boiler service. Would highly recommend. We had both a boiler service and a service of our megaflow hot water tank. Both were done on the same morning, and we had a little air on the radiators on the top floor so these were bled too. Very happy with the service. It was a high standard and efficient. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. The booking process was also easy to arrange, to book both a day and a time slot, which helps when needing to arrange the appointment around work.

Grant originally came to diagnose a fault which was intermittent and not present on the day. The boiler needed servicing anyway so the job description was changed with no extra charge. Grant was punctual, he arrived at the exact time arranged but even if he didn’t there is tracking provided so you can see how far away he is from your job. He was very friendly and at the end even explained he was able to clear dirt from one of our pipes which looked to be built up over some years meaning previous services were less thorough! I wouldn’t hesitate to invite Grant back next time we need a service. 5*

Being fairly new to the area we were looking for a gas engineer to resolve an issue with a leak dripping through the ceiling and a problem with our boiler. A friend recommended Elementis Boiler Experts. Right from the beginning we were extremely impressed with the speed and quality of communication which gave us confidence from the outset. Such a lovely friendly engineer who quickly identified the problems and gave us a quote to get the remedial works done. The price was very fair and the initial jobs were completed to a high standard and to our complete satisfaction. A return visit has been booked to replace a boiler part. We have already booked him to return next year to do the annual boiler service. He made a worrying time a lot less stressful! Would absolutely recommend.

Grant was recommended to me by my neighbour who has used him for some years. He was prompt and on time friendly and thorough. He serviced and repaired my boiler. A follow up appointment was needed to rectify some problems with the system caused by poor work by previous plumber/gas engineer. He was cheerful and cleaned up after he finished.

ELEMENTIS had previously serviced my boiler and I found that they were the best company that I had asked to a job like this in the ten years that I have lived at my current address. So when I needed my cold water supply to be re-piped around my property I thought of them. Firstly they responded politely to my call for an estimate and came around that same evening. By the next morning I had a clear quote sent to my computer. I accepted this and they were able to fit me in the next week as they had one day between jobs (they said they had allowed an extra day just in case they came across any issues but all had gone well). They arrived on time, covered the floors and started work after giving me a "breakdown" of their plan. The work was carried out very efficiently, and after a double check on their own work, they cleared up and left my property having made sure that I was happy with the job done and how they had made sure everything was left clean and tidy. I am happy to recommend them and will certainly call them as and when I need a boiler service or any other plumbing need

Grant installed a new boiler and has since serviced it twice. He also refitted our downstairs cloakroom. All his work has been excellent. He has carried out all works on time and on budget. I would highly recommend this business.
