F5 Engine Carbon & DPF Clean

I have used Adrian and his team numerous times over the years and they’re always professional, reliable and helpful. The service is most definitely worthwhile and I would recommend to anyone.

We have used Adrian many times and as usual such great service by this man. Explains everything about any issues etc. We've just had both cars done.. A Honda Crv and that had no issues and a Nissan Qashqui that was diagnosed with a thermostat on its last legs by Adrian's impressive diagnostic tool... Don't assume your engine temperature guage gives you accurate readings as you don't know what's happening under your bonnet. Both cars have been cleaned.. Alot quieter now.. More responsive on the throttle and alot smoother Definitely recommend Adrian... Top work as usual Thank you

I have just had my BMW X2 Engine Carbon Clean by Adrian of F5 (F5ECC) He was very informative and the job only took one hour, he notified me of any faults showing up on the Diagnostic test. And afterwards while driving my car, I could notice the improvements straight away, Money well spent.

After a narrow emissions fail at MOT for our 9 year old Land Rover Adrian was able to fit us in on very short notice. Booking was simple, and he arrived bang on time. Great customer service throughout, happy to advise and explain not only what to expect but also how to keep cars in best possible shape between visits. Would thoroughly recommend on every aspect of both service and results. (And yes, the car passed its retest)

Adrian was prompt on time and very knowledgeable, the cleaning process takes around 45 minutes with a free engine check service for codes and possible future problems that could be occurring. Now before this clean my car was running rubbish I must say and now after the clean, it's like brand new, no dipping when I accelerate, now smooth idle and no more nasty smells when on stationary tick over. So if your car is running rough, smelling and not performing well, then give Adrian a call, he will come to you.😉

I called Adrian in to investigate a DPF issue on my 2014 Astra 2 litre CDTi. The car was attempting DPF regenerations every 30 miles which were unsuccessful leading to a blocked DPF warning message which a previous garage had cleared by doing a forced regeneration. Adrian diagnosed a faulty coolant thermostat which caused the engine not to reach the required temperature which would allow a successful DPF regeneration. I eventually found a garage that would change the thermostat. 2 other garages, including a Vauxhall specialist, told me it would not fix the problem and wanted to re-diagnose the issue. After running the car for 3 weeks with a new thermostat, the car now reaches and stays at the correct temperature and successfully performs DPF regenerations at the correct intervals. I have learned a lot from Adrian on how DPF's work and conditions for successful regenerations. I also had an engine carbon clean and the car is running perfectly. Highly recommend Adrian for Carbon cleaning and to diagnose engine running issues.

An honest man with integrity. Adrian for you who don’t know him. Didn’t oversell me or undersell me, kept it to a hundred and gave me very useful information on my car's performance and capabilities. I was also looking at having some work done in regard to walnut blasting. Adrian advised me on the situation and what to look out for. Because of Adrian, I was able to avoid someone who was going to sell me a lie and perform a task that would’ve completely ruined the engine. I had two cars booked in and both cars fire like brand new! Considering one had 130K on the clock and the other had over 200K. Because of his service, my car engine light no longer appears (I had this diagnosed twice and found nothing having spent close to £150 for both combined) For those of you who have doubts, I would definitely recommend Adrian at F5ECC. Had Adrian come out to do a carbon clean on my Nissan 350z. I expected the clean to only have some minor effects, however I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like a completely different car, throttle response is better, has even regained some horse power that it's lost over the years! Fantastic customer service overall and an insanely knowledgeable person when it comes to diagnostics. 10/10 Recommend!

I was very pleased with the diagnostic service that was provided along with the detailed explanation on the engine condition of my Mercedes c class car (47000miles 2.1 diesel) . I believe the car is also running smoother following the carbon clean. With regards to the auto stop start issue you recommended to have a health check on the battery and its cranking capacity is down by a third. Although there are no starting issues this is obviously low enough to prevent the auto stop start function. Booking was easy and the agreed appointment date and time was met. Bought a second hand car that had a few problems. Lucky for me car had a warranty with it.Called adrian and he meet me same day to do a diagnostics on my car .He soon identified all the problems and explained them all to me and sent me a full report to my phone so icloud send it off to warranty company. That job has now been sorted. I have now had a carbon clean and car is running 100% better. I would highly recommend this company if you have any problems with the way your car is running.

Car failed MOT twice, advised by tester to try this otherwise I was looking at just over £1500 to fix and the car wasn’t worth that. Others told me I was wasting my money it will never work…..How wrong they were car was retested and passed. Adrian was so thorough explained everything to me. He really was the nicest person you could wish to meet. Such an honest, trustworthy and genuinely nice man which seems to be rare in the car repair industry.

I would 100% recommend having this done to your car my 220d feels like a new car get pulls better a lot smoother and a very nice person did a full diagnostic on the car and showed me every step show all the live data on the car also explained it all a very nice professional person

Adrian from ECC East Midlands (F5ECC) was brilliant. Punctual and communicative, he provided very clear, detailed diagnostic information so I knew what was happening and what my options were. My 2018 LR Discovery went straight to a red light for DPF full and he was able to reset warnings, including a service warning missed recently by the main dealer, so the auto regeneration could successfully run. This fixed the problem and for my family and I, who were only visiting Leicestershire, it was a massive relief as we were able to resume our holiday and get home without further problems! Excellent service, highly recommended.

Fabulously efficient in contacting you information in what you have issue's with knowledgeable guidance in what they offer no pushing in salesman Adrian was very very professional I had issues with my Ford Tansit Custom campervan intermittent smoking and sluggish pick up In low gear thought it could be a DPF issue but who am I ask a professional. Had a Diagnostic consultation and Engine carbon clean Adrian picked up one issue thermostat not working efficiently everything else clean bill of health took my Transit out for a drive immediately noticed a vast difference in pickup on lower gear msg back to Adrian to say very very pleased and contact saved for a return on my Audi A3 give this company a look from a research point of view I looked and read lots of companies but I kept coming back to these and so glad I did commit my money and trust in them
