F5 Engine Carbon & DPF Clean

My Vw Transporter van 2.0 180 automatic was smoking very dense white/ Grey smoke. After contacting various Garages that could not get to the bottom of the problem, I contacted Adrian from carbon clean. He did a full diagnostic and found that the PDF filer was completely full Suspected with Ash. He carried out a carbon clean and told me I need to find a garage that would remove it and completely was it out. Adrian was very honest as he could have flushed the pdf and left it at that but he said there is no way that would clear it out.Adrian wanted me to contact him after it was done to make sure it had fixed the problem. The vehicle was taken and it was done. Not only did the vehicle have more performance but fuel economy has improved from 25mpg to 34mpg. The vehicle responds to throttle fantastically and the engine runs so smooth. I am so grateful to Adrian and highly recommend his diagnostic and his advice. I will certainly use Adrian in the future. A fantastic experience.

Adrian did a carbon clean on my new-to-me 2011 Skoda. The engine sounded 'chuggy' and the MPG was very low. Adrian suggested the journeys had been short ones contributing to a carbon build up. A carbon clean was carried out with Adrian explaining the process and what outcomes I could expect. The service was professionally and thoroughly completed and I am very pleased with the outcome. Mercedes charged me £180 to diagnose why the EMS warning light was showing on my dashboard. They conspicuously failed and suggested a new ad blue tank would be required at a cost of £2000 or possibly new sensors at a cost of £500 each Adrian attended at my home with his impressive equipment and diagnosed the fault as probably a poor electrical connection or a blown fuse. An independent Mercedes mechanic found it to be a bad connection !!

Adrian has just done a full decarbonisation on my 1971 Mach 1 mustang and also my 1979 Suzuki GS 550 . The difference in performance on both vehicles is incredible ! I highly recommend anyone with a classic vehicle use this company ! Extremely reliable and great service .

Adrian came out to see our two cars a BMW 335d and a Renault Kadjar 1.5dci. The BMW had high fuel consumption, the Renault had a engine warning light and the engine was sooted up. Adrian was able to identify and clean both cars, both cars are now running great and he was able to give us areas on the engine which would next need to be looked into. Adrian's knowledge and explanation of what he was doing and seeing with our cars was second to none. Home service saving having the hassle of getting your car back and forth from a garage which are booked up for week. I wasn't expecting much to be honest I've had my car for just under a year and done every maintance task possible before adrian's visit my car is already stage 1 remapped but i was making sure that my car was in tiptop condition for him to come an do a carbon clean and an indepth diagnosis session for me. Definitely was not expecting the results I got! So much more responsive and a completely different animal than before the carbon clean. Engine runs so much smoother and quiter plant my right foot and the car is a missile!! Massive improvement and id definitely recommend anyone to him. Adrian was very upfront with what to expect from the service and gave me a lot of information to consider even before booking it in. It took just about an hour, and during that time he did a visual check and found two minor issues that will improve the performance and economy of my car, then the detailed diagnostic, which he sent to me and we went through it together. The actual carbon clean made such a big difference too - I knew from cleaning the EGR valve that it was a mess, but didn't expect it to completely get rid of the rough idling. It runs so much better - I will definitely have this done again!

I’m more than happy with the service. The diagnostics talk through whilst the carbon clean happened was most enlightening. We’re all geared to jump on the EGR issue tomorrow and start to rectify the issue there. The reports were also very helpful. I was dreading a failed injector so to know it was wiring related was a relief. I’ll let you know how we get on for sure. *Update* Adrian’s initial cautious diagnosis was quite right. The EGR had failed (2 months old Chinese rubbish). Replaced it with OEM today. The difference is night and day. This big old diesel V6 feels responsive and clean. I really rate this service but, what I rate more is Adrian. He’s clear, calm and well informed. I really appreciate everything he did and will happily use him again in the future.

I am really pleased with the service that Adrian has done for my Subaru . The clean has totally changed the way the car runs and performs . Before it was down on power , running rich and the exhaust sound was terrible .It also had a lot of sooty deposits from the exhaust which also covered the rear of the car. Adrian explained every step of the process as it was done . Overall the information given to me , the price and the availability to fit my car in and the attention to detail of the service was excellent. I have used this service before once back when I got my 1 series, I had it done before at 54000 miles and I have decided to do it again at 65000 miles just to keep on top of the engine cleaning. The MPG average has been noticeable as well as the power and output when accelerating has a massive difference. He helped me look into codes I was getting prior temporarily that he then explained his thoughts and was open and honest about. He provided a brilliant service for a good price. Will be using the service again wether it’s for this car or future cars.

Incredible service. I can't believe how much improvement it's achieved just from a pipe shoved up the air filter for an hour. It's alleviated so many shakes and the whole engine and car is smoother. Adrian arrived on time, discussed what he was doing at every stage of the Carbon Clean, found a possible issue with engine temp, very pleased with the whole process and cost, would highly recommend.

Always have Adrian to do a carbon clean after getting any new car and this time was no different always goes out his way to get date’s I requested and this time while doing clean & diagnostics found an issue with car of which I wouldn’t of found and have managed to get done while still under warranty so saved me lots of money can’t recommend Adrian enough service second to none

Our Zafira has been a workhorse for the best part of 12 years and in the last few months developed a fault. The engine management light would come on and then disappear, usually when it was booked into a garage for diagnosis. Eventually, it was diagnosed as the system running lean. But, there was no explanation for it. Any garage will work on trial and error. This could mean injectors to sensors. I saw the YouTube video of Adrian with a similar Zafira and thought that it would be worth contacting ECC and see what they thought. I have an Astra as well so booked both in for diagnosis and Carbon Clean. Adrian was very thorough and professional. Explained the error codes and what could be the cause of the problems. Although they don't do the repair work, the complete diagnosis, working with live data, is invaluable. The potential problem was identified as a stuck thermostat. Not what I would have thought at all. Can't recommend Adrian and ECC enough. I now have a good idea of where to start with the Zafira. For anyone thinking of keeping an older ICE vehicle on the road for longer, I would have ECC out to perform a Carbon Clean. Both the Astra and Zafira now run a lot smoother.

Booked in with Engine Carbon Clean on recommendation and Adrian did not fail to disappoint! Flagged issues with the engine I would not have known about until it was broken and its already running much smoother, once I get the work done it will be even better! Adrian came to do an Engine carbon clean and diagnostic consultation on both my Audi A4 and A6. Explained the whole process of the carbon clean and what it actually does and doesnt do. He also spent time to go through the live diagnostics explaining what the results show and what they mean which is something all garages do not do. After the engine clean wow!! the difference it makes. The older A4 is over 15 years old and now drives like a brand new car. The drive is smooth, the engine sounds quieter and the engine wobble at idle has pretty much reduced to nothing. Highly recommend Adrian, he goes above and beyond to get your car healthy again.

I was struggling to find a knowledgeable Auto diagnosis that would not simply plug in a BDO2. .Some want £90 and no printout. Adrian actually encouraged me to stay and watch and provide excellent clear info on what he was doing and how it affected the car as I had for a few pounds extra the engine De-carboned (Cleaned) using the amazing Hydrogen Electrolysis process. He also kept in touch after to see how the faults diagnosed were performing and the repairs I had authorised. Rarely do I give praise, to be honest, but this is a first-class service.
