Adrian kept me posted about his ETA and even messaged me the day before to check that appointment was still okay. He turned up on time and got straight to work (the car was already warm as I’d just arrived home). A diagnostics check was completed first of all and everything came back clear/okay (no issues or faults at all) and so Adrian then connected up the necessary equipment, which would then start the internal cleaning process. Although I was working from home that day I left Adrian to get on with his work as I knew what the process entailed... This is the third time I’ve used Adrian and his company to clean my car engines internally (Kia Cee’d, Kia Sorenro and Jaguar XF). All three cars ran/run better, smoother, quieter after the cleaning process. I ask Adrian to visit and work his magic each time I swap my car so that I know the engine is starting from the best (cleanest) place possible whilst I own the vehicle - the diagnostic check also always me to get any underlying issues sorted, if any show up. The visit took about 50mins from start to finish, I paid by contactless and Adrian was then on his way to the next appointment. He’s a good egg, always polite, very knowledgeable and I think the product/service he offers is worth every penny.

I have an Audi A6 C7 (2018) 2.0 quattro petrol. I just bought it with 50k miles on the clock. The MPG seemed poorer than expected and the car would stutter if revved in neutral before returning to idle. Since having the cleaning done, it has improved my instant consumption gauge from 10 mpg to 30+ mpg when I'm doing 70mpg in 7th gear on uphill inclines. This is exactly what I was hoping for as I had to put my foot down alot more just to maintain the speed before the clean. My engine also revs perfectly fine with no dips. Highly recommend. This is the second time I have used this service and would certainly do it again.

Adrian was very professional and kept me fully informed about what he found. The result was that when I went out for a 17 mile trip, it felt much smoother and quieter, even with the sunroof open.

Had various power related issues with a diesel fueled car. The diagnostic and visual check showed an error with a faulty part linked to the fuel system. The engine was also decarbonised too and I have noted a difference in performance and a reduction in exhaust smoke. I'm very pleased with the results and Adrian's expertise and advice. I'm very pleased with the service I was provided with by Adrian from Engine Carbon Clean! He's very competent and professional! The diagnostic was accurate and informative, so thanks to it I have found out about a few issues I wasn't even aware of. Adrian is a brilliant guy. Nothing was too much trouble. I had my DPF sensor replaced and he reset the ECU for me and did an engine and filter clean. Thoroughly good value for money and my car accelerates and runs like it should. I'm really happy with the work done and definitely recommend the service to anyone with a diesel or other engine problems.

It's not often you find a company with outstanding service. This is the second time I have used Adrian at Engine Carbon Clean. The first time I was a little sceptical on the carbon cleaning process, there is a mixture of reviews on-line from various companies, but most were positive. I also thought that my car (2012 VW Touran TDI with 91,000 miles at first visit, 110,00 at the second) would probably have carbon build up due to many short trips would benefit from the clean if it actually worked. Prior to the second visit I had experienced a sticky EGR valve. On both occasions, Adrian arrived on time and after explaining the whole process and running a full diagnosis check on my car, he commenced with the clean keeping a close eye on the live diagnostic data. After both cleans my car has felt better to drive, smoother, quieter and more responsive. MPG has also increased and now acheiving 65 mpg on a run. Would I recommend? Definitely.

Adrian is a great honest guy who knows his stuff. He has come from a scientific background and will explain the process really well. He is well able to answer any questions the customer has and does it in a polite and professional way. Really recommend the service also. The car had some issues which straight away Adrian says the cleaning will not deal with, but after the clean the car runs so much better.

I have used Adrian at engine carbon clean a few times now and he's polite and efficient and very very knowledgeable. He performs in-depth diagnostics and an amazing engine carbon clean. I had him to do my car and treated the wife's car too. When the engine cleaning was done I took them for a drive and it restored lots of lost power both run smoothly and better mpg which is great. I booked Adrian to come and give my car a carbon clean. I just recently purchased my Range Rover sport and thought I would get it carbon cleaned while it still has warranty. Adrian has worked on several of my previous cars as well. As always I was kept in the loop of what time he was arriving and the process that he was doing. Yet again very pleased with the results and I’ve got peace of mind that there is nothing seriously wrong with my new car. Adrian was brilliant from start to finish, explaining everything he was checking and doing as he went along and suggestions for next steps. Nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to answer any questions I had. The advice he gave me was easy to understand and will ultimately save me a fair amount of money!

This was the third time Adrian has been out to do a carbon clean for us. Booking process was easy, Adrian is responsive to messages and very informative. Primarily had the most recent carbon clean for preventative/maintenance as had just purchased the car and wanted to make sure it had a clean bill of health so any issues identified could be sorted under warranty. Adrian was able to provide this reassurance. Great service as always an am sure we will be seeing Adrian again.

My 2008 Citroen C4 1.6hdi had the dpf light come on. The local garage cleared it but wasn't confident it would stay off. They told me to speak to the main dealers. In the end, I just got confused, mainly because neither of them told me what the problem was. Enter Adrian, after having read his website I felt confident that he would diagnose the fault. He arrived promptly and went about his work in a professional and friendly manner. The fault was diagnosed to a relay, he also did a carbon clean, the car is now a totally different car to when I bought it. It's much quieter and much more responsive as well. Would I recommend Adrian? In a heartbeat every time.

having used Adrian before on other cars I have owned I asked him to clean my audi a6 on nearly 200k miles he's always knowledgeable and explains if the cars need anything the car is now more responsive and also no longer puffs put lots of black smoke on acceleration he noted an engine mount could be faulty and he was correct I investigated and one was perished so I would always recommend using this service and I will continue to on future cars I own great service as always

Adrian is a very interesting and knowledgeable person to learn from very professional and nothing was to much trouble he talked me through everything he did which enabled me to feel very satisfied and safe with the outcome. I had Adrian out to do a carbon clean on my 2011 nissan navara v6. I wasn't sure what to expect but Adrian found 3 fault codes (it had been in the garage for a full service the day before). He cleared these codes and gave advice on them. Truck starts better and drives a lot smoother now. Very happy with Adrian and his service.

Great work and very fast and reliable, Adrian was a great help very friendly. While getting a DPF clean he talked me through what he was doing was very nice to talk to while getting the work done.

Very impressed with Adrian and his knowledge and professionalism on the job. Highly recommend! I'd booked in 3 cars for an engine carbon clean, two petrol vehicles and one diesel ranging from 1996 to 2010, all with around 100k miles or more. Adrian methodically worked on each vehicle, whilst providing me a clear, consice and honest education in what the process actually does and what it doesn't. Following each car being completed he provided a print out and a digital copy of diagnostics and all the codes found on the ECU, which was very handy to have. Later that day after the appointment I found myself having to travel long distance and took the diesel. The comparison between before and after the carbon clean was astonishing. I found the car was providing better and smoother torque, faster throttle response, a slightly quieter engine and a much better and consistent MPG. I have to say its been worth every penny. Will definitely be using his services again in the future.
