David has done work at a property on a number of occassions now and is a pleasure to deal with. He communicates well, is reliable, does a great job and leaves no mess around. Would have no hesitation recommending David to anyone

David has completed a number of jobs for us, always very responsive, always comes up with a solution, and very good value for money. Highly recommended. On this occasion he set up our broadband system within the house to be ready for the changeover to fibre and returned after Openreach installation to ensure WiFi was working throughout the house.

David arrived on time and managed to sort out the problem with our TV aerial. He had to repair a loose connection and configure another aerial socket. We have used David many times and would not use anyone else.

David is a real professional and from point of contact, he delivered an excellent service. He was courteous, treated my home with respect and left everything neat and tidy. He installed a new aerial, removed old satellite dish, wiring from an old CCTV camera. Loved his can do attitude. Price was as agreed and quoted even though he did a few extra little job to make everything look neat. I would recommend David without hesitation.

David was excellent. He treated our home with care while doing a brilliant job of fitting an aerial and cabling in a complex set of circumstances. David did some work on our house extending some network cabling around to 2 more rooms in our house and wiring up part of our house to a TV aerial on the roof. Both of these were done as hoped for - and our expectations were exceeded. For the data cabling he listened carefully to what we were trying to achieve and his solution involved far less cables around the outside of our house than anticipated. I think this is what sets him apart - he focussed on the objective of what we were after and came up with the best way of doing it - rather than be blindsided by what I thought was the right way to do it! The cables were neatly hidden behind a drain pipe externally - and after he left we discovered in our loft the incredibly neat and tidy way cabling was tied back around the perimeter out of loft. Wiring up the TV signal required a lot more work than anticipated and again the solution required some thought - and David's solution was incredibly ingenious with no extra visible wires. Overall we'd highly recommend David English's services without hesitation.

David arrived two days later as agreed & at the agreed time ,the work was done very professionally also two old aerials were removed along with old wiring, a very good job was done thanks David. We had suffered a loss of our 'Sky' service following my attempt to sort out a problem with our T V. David was able to visit promptly and rectified the problem while at the same time simplifying the control of the TV. It was a fairly simple job but I am not too clever technically and he explained what he was doing and offered alternative solutions. He was always polite and easy to deal with and gave me some useful advice on reviewing Sky contracts. The price came within his minimum charge and seemed reasonable.

I contacted English Installations because I needed a TV to be hung on the wall. From the initial quote to the end of the job David was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. In my opinion he went above and beyond what was required. Initially he asked the type of questions a prospective contractor should ask for this type of work and requested photos of the area. Before the appointment I was kept informed of any changes. On the day David arrived promptly and carried out the work to a high standard and importantly, cleared up after. Complicated and messy legacy TV, internet and hardwired sound system cableing sorted out and re-wired. Helpful and efficient.

My TV was showing pixelated channels and weak signals. David checked the TV aerial and cables, diagnosed and explained weaknesses, provided me with choices at each stage, and then carried out the work very neatly without causing any damage to the roof. The work involved removing all old redundant TV aerial equipment and cabling, installing a new system, plus adding new external splitters. The bill included a five-year warranty. Overall, David was pleasant, good at communication and prompt.

We heartily recommend David and will tell family and friends about him if they need work done. We asked to move satellite and phone cables away from our windows, as they were due to be replaced. He was excellent all round, both with contact, replying to questions, but most importantly turning up as arranged. We even got a courtesy email to remind us of the appointment, an eta, and he arrived early. He replaced old cables, checking with us to ensure we were happy with the new location too. Other installers had left long lengths of cable and David tidied everything up, leaving the whole area inside the house looking so much better than it had been. He checked everything was working before leaving. A good experience all around.

David promptly answered my call himself and texted a quote immediately. He was able to book in the job to fit in with a quite urgent request before scaffolding would be dismantled. He fitted a new aerial to serve three flats and cleared away all old cables and obsolete aerials. He had a flexible approach and was able to do all that was required efficiently, taking away all the unwanted old equipment. He was friendly and helpful with lots of good advice. And he stuck with his original quote

David English was very helpful when I had a problem with my aerial and TV reception. He came exactly when he said he would and made sure he had the correct ladders with him. On arrival he investigated the problem and clearly and carefully explained to me what the best solution would be. He identified the problem was with the television not the aerial . David was really helpful and considerate throughout, and the whole problem was dealt with less than 24 hours after I first contacted him.

Contacted David to repair a broken Ariel. David arrived at the agreed time & carried out the work efficiently. In addition, he repaired some broken tiles. I would highly recommend David. David also did some cabling work unexpectedly which I had been meaning to do for some time. Very impressed.

Recently moved into the house and one aerial socket was not working. David persisted with the diagnostics to find the problem (not obvious) and fixed it. Booking the job was easy and text communication was excellent. David arrived on time and was very tidy throughout the job. He communicated well on what the problem was. Clearly very knowledgeable. The invoice was within the quote despite extra work (more time). High recommended.

Needed removal of a TV aerial which fell following high winds. Also wanted to get removal and cleanup of other items left in a poor condition by a previous contractor. David responded to my initial enquiry within the hour, and was available to do the work the same day. He quickly identified what needed to be done, removing the old aerial and satellite dish and relocating the remaining dish and aerial. He worked quickly and neatly, leaving my systems in full working order and removing the old equipment. He was friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

Our satellite dish needed a new part installed together with a new quad cable to the television and set-top box. Having had David English before, I asked him to do this work. He did this in a most professional manner, testing his work every step of the way, and discussing his findings. He is extremely pleasant and explains the reason why he suggests doing certain things. This gives one real confidence. The work was done to my complete satisfaction, and I would recommend him thoroughly. He will gladly provide an estimate before starting work. My belief is that one should always ask for this, with any tradesman one employs.
