My name is David English I have over 20 years experience in this industry. I'm a very hard working trustworthy person and I would treat your property with the same respect that I would my own home.
Most of my work comes from word of mouth and I think that says a lot.
The main services that I provide are the installation of TV aerials and satellite dishes for Freeview and satellite TV (Sky and Freesat)
Before I worked in this industry I worked in the building trade, during this time I picked up a Lot of tips from the trade. This has helped me in many aspects of the services that I offer. Including the demand for people wanting their flat screen TVs hung on the wall, Cables discreetly hidden in the walls and cables put under the floorboards and so on.
Some of the other services that I offer include installing telephone, CAT5 , CAT6 data points.
Installing all your media and data cables during the first fix of your refurbishment then doing the final fix and a signal test at the end of the refurbishment.

David turned up at the appointed time and explained what he had to do. He used the small Velux window in my loft room for roof access. He removed the old aerial and cable and took it with him. He was very informative throughout and advised on missing tile replacement which I will certainly look into. His price was what I expected from his original quote. I am very happy with the result.

David English answered my call for help and sent me two estimates by text later the same day. He came at the agreed time, tested our TV and aerial signal thoroughly and gave me the choice of refurbing the aerial or replacing it with a new one. I went for the latter option. He installed and tested the new aerial and cables and removed the debris - all in about an hour and a half. He was very helpful and polite, coping magnificently with a difficult neighbour. And as a bonus, the final bill was less than the estimate he originally gave. Would highly recommend David.

David created an alcove in an internal wall and attached a 32in tv to an extending swivel bracket so that the tv can be pulled out and viewed from any angle. He communicated with us clearly regarding his availability, made recommendations on the most appropriate tv and once the job was underway got on with it with minimal fuss and mess. When he realised he could achieve a smarter finish to the alcove even though it would take more effort on his part, David went the extra mile and we are thrilled with the result. And he is also a thoroughly nice chap.

Our TV/FM aerial had not been working for some time. English Installations identified a fault with our TV signal amplifier/distribution box, which he replaced. He also explained that our existing aerial was too old to receive many current services, and recommended this should be replaced too. They carried out all this work smoothly and efficiently, and everything is now working again. We are very pleased, and would highly recommend English Installations to anyone needing similar work done.

I then needed a CAT cable running up to my loft, and fast (in the middle of building works) - despite being fully booked, he squeezed me in. David did the work to budget and schedule. He clearly knew what he was doing right from the start-even if I did not! While he was happy to explain anything I asked I felt that his explanations were a bit rushed the first time he came though that was partly because I gave him a deadline which he had not expected. After his second visit I was starting to feel more comfortable with the setup though Sky still had to complete their side of the work. David was always polite, punctual, helpful and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Replaced the indoor cable, which had been cut when a door frame was replaced. Diagnosed the problem and re-routed the cable through the door frame and around the room to be as unobtrusive as possible. Removed the old cable and left the room clean and tidy. A professional, helpful and friendly service.

David English of ENGLISH INSTALLATIONS assessed where an updated Virgin Media WIFI system and telephones would need to be installed. He arranged to bring the necessary cable and equipment to upgrade the existing system. He provided an estimate of the cost via email and we agreed to proceed. Mr English arranged the date for upgrading the system and arrived promptly, worked efficiently, explained exactly what he was doing as the work progressed. We found Mr English focused, helpful--especially as we are not up-to-date about the current WIFI and telephone technology. He told us to get back to him with any queries or problems. So far, so good! But should we need to contact him with questions--etc--he said he would be happy to be available.

David replaced my terrestrial and satellite aerials/dishes, mounted them in a new better location, and installed 5 new TV points throughout the house. He worked quickly and effectively, and was both tidy and friendly. The charge was exactly what he had estimated, and I would unhesitatingly recommend him. The market in aerial replacement/installation is in my experience often like the Wild West, with false estimates, broken appointments, and shoddy work. I'm glad I found English Aerials!

Very reassuring to find that a completely unknown can turn out so well. David came as agreed and once I had explained my requirements he very efficiently did everything as asked. Was happy to have him in my house, he cleared up any debris and took photos of the roof aerial, before and after, so I could be assured he had carried out his work as asked. It is always good to have photos. He thoughtfully placed the new wiring from the roof into my house so I don’t have too much wiring to look at from my garden. I will be in touch with him again to sort out my TVs once I have bought a new one. Very happy to recommend.

Contacted David English on 17.03.2021,replied immediately, I needed a new aerial fitted to which David said he could try and fix or replace with a new one, very reassuring to be given 2 options, with 2 price estimates. I took the latter, David arrived on time, quickly to see what the problem was and did the work very efficiently, he did a great job. I trust David completely and would not hesitate to recommend him or if I needed him again. His work was also guaranteed for 5 years.
