My name is David English I have over 20 years experience in this industry. I'm a very hard working trustworthy person and I would treat your property with the same respect that I would my own home.
Most of my work comes from word of mouth and I think that says a lot.
The main services that I provide are the installation of TV aerials and satellite dishes for Freeview and satellite TV (Sky and Freesat)
Before I worked in this industry I worked in the building trade, during this time I picked up a Lot of tips from the trade. This has helped me in many aspects of the services that I offer. Including the demand for people wanting their flat screen TVs hung on the wall, Cables discreetly hidden in the walls and cables put under the floorboards and so on.
Some of the other services that I offer include installing telephone, CAT5 , CAT6 data points.
Installing all your media and data cables during the first fix of your refurbishment then doing the final fix and a signal test at the end of the refurbishment.

I couldn’t recommend David from English Installations more! He came to fix my TV aerial in my flat and fitted a new one, I couldn’t believe how quick and easy he made the whole process. He gave me every option and was very honest about what I needed to have. He also gave me a quote before he started the job based on what he thought I needed doing and completely stuck to that. He is a complete professional and clearly has years of experience. I felt at complete ease with his work ethic. An all round great guy and master of his craft. Thank you!

English Installations installed a hard-wired Wi-Fi cable to the back of the property and provided a booster for the Wi-Fi. Turned up on time and gave some excellent advice on the final solution required. Work was conducted in a quality manner and the site was left clean and tidy. Good value for money and excellent customer service provided.

David did an excellent job in installing a new TV aerial for us. He was very friendly, efficient and clearly very knowledgeable. He worked quickly and was very tidy. As well as sorting our aerial, he removed a whole load of redundant wiring from old tech which was great as everything looks much neater now. He was also able to advise us on our internet options which was greatly appreciated. Final invoice was at the lower end of the original quote. I would definitely recommend David!

I had a complete collapse of my landline, broadband and internet. David very quickly identified the problem with the outdated incoming master telephone feed, and the broken master telephone socket. He replaced the whole system, which is now functioning perfectly. I regard his charge as very reasonable in the circumstances. David was particularly careful to observe precautions regarding the Covid restrictions.

Great work by David. Professional and reliable. He called me to say he was on his way and completed the work as quoted. Perfect TV reception now with neat cabling inside and out. I am really happy to have found English installations, I looked everywhere to find someone that would fix my sky dish on my chimney without joy until I found David English because of the dreaded health and safety rules Sky no longer go above certain heights... David did an aerial job for me last week. Not only he had the face mask on even before he left his van, took his shoes off as soon as he entered the flat and always managed to keep the safety distance, but he completed the job in no time, leaving everything tidy, he showed me what the problem was, waited for me to check all was working and charged me the minimum he previously quoted, including a part he supplied himself. I must add the communication since the first contact I've had with him has been always clear and prompt and it was a pleasure to deal with him in person too. I'm so glad I've found such a great trader just by browsing online (which is always a hazard!) and couldn't recommend him more.

I live in a block of flats and was having problems with poor reception on my TV. I have no idea about the set up of the tv aerial system in my block. David was meticulous tracing the cables through in looking for the amplifier which sadly we couldn't find before he decided on Plan B to install an external splitter and a new aerial point. Despite being busy he still left the place tidy.

I kept losing the satellite signal because the dish had been fixed into the wall pointing rather than the brick and it had worked loose. I contacted David and he came within a couple of days. He was pleasant and got on with the job quickly, finishing in half an hour or so. He removed the dish and then made stronger fixings in the brick work. He had a special machine for checking the strength of the signal. He also filled in the pointing which the old fixing had broken and fixed the neighbour's cabling back onto the wall - without being asked to do this. I was very satisfied with the job. It was reassuring to know that he is a specialist in this work. He's not cheap but he does a good job and he also has an assitant with him to hold the ladder etc.

I used David to sort out the internet service in one of my properties and the Aerial TV point in my home . He is very knowledgeable, careful and did an excellent job over 2 visits . David undertook a replacement of our old aerial with a new digital aerial and associated re-wiring and the TV is working better than it has in years, clear defined picture and brilliant reception. I was hugely impressed with David from start to finish. When I called him via Checkatrade, he was really helpful on the phone. As I described the job to him, he asked great questions and offered to look up my property on Google Earth to see if what we were talking about was likely to work with the outside of the house (it involved running cabling outside). I was quite uncertain about the best way to proceed, but he gave great advice, all of it obviously focused on the best result for me rather than any consideration of more work for him. When he came and did the job, he was quick, professional and worked with a minimum of fuss. He installed two new ethernet points with relevant cabling and they work perfectly. I was very pleased with the price. I would definitely use David again.

I employed this Company on the basis that it was a sole trader, who had received excellent reviews, rather than having an anonymous person employed by a large company. The work was to fit a TV wall mount and attach the TV. Connect 2 TV's to Sky Q and tune an old TV to receive the new services. I found the company to be professional, reliable clean and tidy. David is a good communicator, which I appreciated. I thought the price for the work to be very reasonable.

I asked David to check my decades-old aerial and replace it with a new one. He responded quickly with a quotation, arrived on time on the agreed day and was very considerate of my house, removing shoes, using dustsheets and moving any furniture that might have been caught by ladders being carried in and out. He also asked me exactly where I wanted the new aerial sited. From the street the aerial and the cabling looks very neat (the TV works too!). The bill came in at the low end of his quotation range and he even repaired some broken flashing he noticed while on the roof! Highly recommended!
