My name is David English I have over 20 years experience in this industry. I'm a very hard working trustworthy person and I would treat your property with the same respect that I would my own home.
Most of my work comes from word of mouth and I think that says a lot.
The main services that I provide are the installation of TV aerials and satellite dishes for Freeview and satellite TV (Sky and Freesat)
Before I worked in this industry I worked in the building trade, during this time I picked up a Lot of tips from the trade. This has helped me in many aspects of the services that I offer. Including the demand for people wanting their flat screen TVs hung on the wall, Cables discreetly hidden in the walls and cables put under the floorboards and so on.
Some of the other services that I offer include installing telephone, CAT5 , CAT6 data points.
Installing all your media and data cables during the first fix of your refurbishment then doing the final fix and a signal test at the end of the refurbishment.

David and his colleague advised me on what was needed and then installed a new aerial. He took down my old aerial, fixed my phone point and took down an old cable and disc as well. Prompt, clean, quick, tidy, neat, professional, polite... There's a long list of ways that I could describe the David English and the service received for installing the satellite dish/TV aerial. All of them positive. He offered advice on positioning the aerial, re positioned the TV, buried all the wires, left no dirt or mess, leaving us with a floating TV and seemingly 1001 channels (certainly more than the 10 we were getting with our indoor aerial before we had the aerial and satellite dish installed. Thoroughly impressed with the service. David and his colleague were both approachable, good at communicating prior to the installation and left us with an installation that looks as though it'll be here for a very long time.

In answer to some questions I had, he was also able to suggest improvements to the system throughout the house. This involved sorting out some old internal junctions and booster equipment, and he certainly fixed various extras which he couldn't have known about when he quoted. I live in a block of flats and was having problems with poor reception on my TV. I have no idea about the set up of the tv aerial system in my block. David was meticulous tracing the cables through in looking for the amplifier which sadly we couldn't find before he decided on Plan B to install an external splitter and a new aerial point. Despite being busy he still left the place tidy.

David did the work to budget and schedule. He clearly knew what he was doing right from the start-even if I did not! While he was happy to explain anything I asked I felt that his explanations were a bit rushed the first time he came though that was partly because I gave him a deadline which he had not expected. After his second visit I was starting to feel more comfortable with the setup though Sky still had to complete their side of the work. David was always polite, punctual, helpful and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

David English of ENGLISH INSTALLATIONS assessed where an updated Virgin Media WIFI system and telephones would need to be installed. He arranged to bring the necessary cable and equipment to upgrade the existing system. He provided an estimate of the cost via email and we agreed to proceed. Mr English arranged the date for upgrading the system and arrived promptly, worked efficiently, explained exactly what he was doing as the work progressed. We found Mr English focused, helpful--especially as we are not up-to-date about the current WIFI and telephone technology. He told us to get back to him with any queries or problems. So far, so good! But should we need to contact him with questions--etc--he said he would be happy to be available.

David English answered my call for help and sent me two estimates by text later the same day. He came at the agreed time, tested our TV and aerial signal thoroughly and gave me the choice of refurbing the aerial or replacing it with a new one. I went for the latter option. He installed and tested the new aerial and cables and removed the debris - all in about an hour and a half. He was very helpful and polite, coping magnificently with a difficult neighbour. And as a bonus, the final bill was less than the estimate he originally gave. Would highly recommend David.

I contacted David as i needed a new roof aerial and additional socket in bedroom. Spoke to David via telephone and text to make the necessary arrangements for the following week. He was easy to deal with and there was no hard sell. Arrived as arranged, and carried out the work as agreed. He also removed an old satellite dish for me at no extra charge. David did the work really well and explained why i was having issues with the aerial. I am so glad that i got this job done as leaving it could have been disastrous.( split and worn cable that was full of water). Work done as agreed and professional throughout. He was very helpful with excellent communication.

Writing as a retired architect. David installed a new replacement aerial. The whole event was totally professional and stress free. The work is meticulous, the price fair and reasonable, and it was a pleasant experience. David also sorted out the Smart TV loaded with an Asia only geo-setting, and went through wall mounting and concealed wiring options for later on. He also helped our elderly neighbour with his connection problems gratis. In short professional service at it's very best.

I had a complete collapse of my landline, broadband and internet. David very quickly identified the problem with the outdated incoming master telephone feed, and the broken master telephone socket. He replaced the whole system, which is now functioning perfectly. I regard his charge as very reasonable in the circumstances. David was particularly careful to observe precautions regarding the Covid restrictions.

I couldn’t recommend David from English Installations more! He came to fix my TV aerial in my flat and fitted a new one, I couldn’t believe how quick and easy he made the whole process. He gave me every option and was very honest about what I needed to have. He also gave me a quote before he started the job based on what he thought I needed doing and completely stuck to that. He is a complete professional and clearly has years of experience. I felt at complete ease with his work ethic. An all round great guy and master of his craft. Thank you!

David English was very helpful when I had a problem with my aerial and TV reception. He came exactly when he said he would and made sure he had the correct ladders with him. On arrival he investigated the problem and clearly and carefully explained to me what the best solution would be. He identified the problem was with the television not the aerial .
