Ensign Conservatory Roof Solutions were recommended to me by friends. Steve, the owner came to our house to discuss options and price. I placed an order. Two weeks before the installation date a site survey was carried out to enable the roof to be pre-made in their workshop and made into an installation kit for ease of assembly on site. On the installation date, Justin and Simon arrived bright and early, and began working, by the end of day one the old roof was removed, the new timber roof frame was installed, and insulated, and the membrane attached, so the conservatory was watertight overnight. Day 2, again Justin and Simon arrived early along with John the electrician, who after a chat with myself proceeded to carry out the first fix for the downlights and switch. Once the cables were installed Justin and Simon fitted the insulating quilting, and plasterboards. In addition they replaced a failed original glazed panel, and replaced our wooden garage back door and window for a modern UPVC units. Day 3, the fitters completed the facia, soffit, and guttering, and installed the tiled roof panels, with lead to the brickwork. Kyle the plasterer carried out the plastering work. At the end of day 3 the roof installation was completed. Day 4, John the electrician installed the downlights and light switch. All finished. The installers are a credit to ENSIGN, incredibly hard working guys, along with John and Kyle. I highly recommend Ensign, a fantastic quality installation

Having had a ridiculous initial quote for our glass roof to be made into a tiled one, we contacted Steve at Ensign. Their quote was thousands less than the first one we had. So much so that we decided to replace all of our wooden conservatory framework into upvc, including all the windows, and tile and insulate the roof. That quote was so good that we also replaced all of the windows in the house too. The guys took the whole thing down and rebuilt it so it was watertight, just in one day!. It took 2 more days to get it ready for plastering and electrics, and was finished totally shortly after. The windows in the house, and all of the cladding replacement at the front was all done in 2 more days. Absolutely fabulous job, professional lads with great work ethics. The difference in temperature out there is amazing now, and no more condensation on our bathroom windows either. All of the neighbours say the house looks great. We would definitely recommend Ensign, there was no hard sell from the beginning. On the day of the build the guys were on time and got the old roof off and the new roof watertight by the end of the day. They were hard working and tidy. The electrician was on time. The plasterer was on time and finished the job on schedule.

From start to finish, Ensign have been amazing. We wanted out conservatory replaced, on a limited budget, unsure of what options were available. Ensign staff offered advise, suggested things we'd not even considered or thought were possible and happily worked with us to find a solution that met our needs. We opted for a conservatory with a tiled roof and so glad we did. We now have a great room rather than a greenhouse. The operatives turned up early on the Monday and worked five days solidly to remove the old conservatory and replace with the new one. Everything was very organised and prepared so that the fit went smoothly. The guys didnt stop all week, their work ethic and quality of work is exceptional. They went above and beyond to make every little detail perfect. Would recommend this company and a big thanks to all the staff.

We had a large but old picture window replaced (with modern thermal properties). The window is about 14' x 6' in total and was totally redesigned with all the necessary trims to avoid any future decorating. The job was completed extremely efficiently within a day. The installers were well mannered and polite. They cleared up at the end of the job and took away all of the old window and rubbish. The job was completed on time and to budget. The final result looks stunning.

Ensign removed a 25 years old conservatory with a polycarbonate roof with a new conservatory with bifold doors and a solid roof. The room is a great improvement. The work was completed on time, to the agreed price and has exceeded our expectations.

Ensign did a fantastic job putting a new solid roof on our 5 meter X 3 meter conservatory in less than a week! This included plastering and new lights. We love the roof as it has transferred the conservatory into a proper room. This was definitely money well spent.

When I decided to put a roof on my conservatory, Ensign did a perfect job. I had a wood-burner installed but where the flue when through the roof there was a permanent leak when it rained. This was due to how it was badly sealed by the wood-burner installers. Ensign came to the rescue led by Richard and his team. He stripped the one side of the roof and sealed the flue correctly. This company was recommended to me by a friend and also my sister, and I am so glad that I went ahead and booked them. I asked them to put a solid roof on my conservatory so I can use it all year round, but after discussion we also agreed that I would have the two walls of glass made solid, and the old outside wall of the house plastered over. Decided to replace our 19 year old polycarbonate conservatory roof as was at the point of no return, we had originally received a price from Ensign in early 2020 but held back due to the pandemic. Decided to push the button this year and have to say was the best decision I've made, from start to finish the guys at Ensign have been amazing and extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the technical jargon resulting in a room we can now use throughout the year. Steve came along from Ensign and quoted to replace our existing 7m x 3m conservatory and made recommendations in terms of design and saving money by adapting the existing dwarf wall to suit. Once we accepted his quote, Richard then came to do the survey and we discussed and agreed a few amendments to the original plan. The frames were replaced, a new lantern roof installed and all the interior walls plastered. The floor was also raised to the same height as the house floor. Work started on the Monday and was completed by Friday when the electrician came and installed all the sockets and lighting. Although I made changes and added bits on as the build was in progress, they stuck to the quote. Couldn’t speak highly enough of Steve, Richard and the whole team who worked tirelessly to complete the job in a week. I highly recommend this company.

Hi, myself & my wife had been thinking for a while now about getting our conservatory glass roof converted to a new tiled one has it always became uncomfortable to enjoy sitting in there during hot summer days. Luckily for us we were highly recommended your company from our friend Julie who had recently had there conservatory roof replaced. We have converted our conservatory polycarbonate roof to a solid tiled roof. Excellent service from start to finish. A full explanation of what was available for our job and a very reasonable quote, without any pressure selling whatsoever. Having only recently moved in to our new house, we decided to replace our conservatory roof, the old one was way past its best. Our son had previously used Ensign to fit his new conservatory roof and highly recommenced them. Initially Steve came out to discuss our requirements and suggest a number of options all of which were very helpful, there was no hard sell or pressure to commit. We decided on a tiled roof with two Velux windows, which was a great addition. The Ensign team arrived on the appointed day and ensured all of our personnel possessions were well protected or moved out of harms way. The new roof was completed within the allotted time including electrical work and part plastering. The whole process proved to be completely trouble free and completed to a very high standard. The whole team were polite, helpful and very clean workers, a true credit to the company. When we initially got a quote for replacing our glass conservatory roof with a tiled one, no mention was made regarding any planning approval. On accepting Ensigns quote, I asked about this and was informed that it would be extra. This was disappointing, as it had been included with the other quotes we had recieved. We then were not informed when the inspection was happening, resulting in him not being able to access our property. I then met with the inspector, who required the details from the structural surveyor that Ensign are responsible for. Despite all this, I am still waiting for the approval, five months on. This is a shame as the installers and the tradespeople we encountered during the installation, were courteous and professional.

We had wanted to replace our glass conservatory roof for a while as it was too hot or too cold to use. We were recommended to Ensign in Redditch by friends who were very satisfied with the work that they had carried out by them. The whole process from starting with a pleasant informal visit from Steve to the completion of the new roof was done with total care and attention and we are more than satisfied with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

From start to finish this was an exceptionally seamless and smooth project. Steve came initially to talk about the possibilities of a replacement conservatory and added all sorts of helpful suggestions with no hard sell or pressure to commit. Ensign doesn't have a showroom, so the price was far less than I'd expected. The old conservatory was taken down and additional foundations built; the shell of the new Garden Room swiftly erected; electrics, plastering, painting, flooring, cat flap installation and decking all done on time and done really well. All the workmen arrived on time, were helpful, really nice, tidy, and let me know each day who would be coming the following day and the job they would be doing. It was all done exactly as planned, spot on time; all done to budget and absolutely no hidden extras. One or two things needed tidying up at the end and Richard came immediately to sort it out. I now have a beautiful Garden Room that's light and warm and fabulous and can't wait to invite my family and friends to admire it. Thank you, Ensign.

We were extremely pleased with everything - from the initial visit to the completed work, and therefore had no hesitation in choosing them again to do another job for us. They protected the flooring and furniture with dust sheets and washed down the paving slabs after they had finished.
