These electricians dealt with a number of issues in the flat I recently bought, including a partial re-wire, a full re-wire of the kitchen, installing a cooker hood and an extractor fan in the bathroom. Great care was taken to keep existing tiles intact, and adjustments were made to requirements with an unfailingly friendly and courteous manner. Of all the tradespersons I have had to deal with since the move (of which there have been many!), they were the most helpful and reliable, so I knew I would have the least stress on the days they were working.

I contacted Envision Electrics Ltd having had them recommended by a friend. From start to finish they offered a professional and extremely competent service. I required a replacement double socket that was no longer working for my kitchen. I was asked to send them an image of the socket style. They scheduled me in for the work to be carried out the next day. They arrived with the exact style of socket and fitted it quickly, leaving the kitchen exactly as they found it. The price charged was very acceptable. I’d highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again for any electrical work required. Thank you.

The team at Envision Electronics have been nothing but superb. I was having a new ceiling light fitted, alongside making my water heater controls “Smart” and up-to-date. It was my first time with an E7 Dual Meter / Immersion heater system, and the team provided very clear guidance from beginning to end! On sight, the engineers were very professional and carried out their works without the need of supervision. Once done, they gave me a rundown of what was done and brought me up to speed. In the following days, I had an emergency and they showed up on the same day to ensure a smooth running of my household. Payment for all of the work stayed in the initial quoted range. I have been using Envision Electrics since they started trading (previously I used Craig's dad). They have always been clear about the work they were going to do. Always kept me up to date if anything changed and other/more work was required. They arrive on time and leave the site clean and tidy. Their rates are reasonable. Craig is unfailingly helpful in explaining electrical regulations and keeping me up to date with the current standards. Recently he researched some regulations for me unrelated to any work he had ever done for me. As a result of his information I was able to breech a log jam in communications with my domestic energy supplier. I would not hesitate to continue to use him whenever possible.

A rat chewed through some cables in a cupboard!! Envision came out the next day but discovered more chewed cables further into the wall. Kept informed with pictures showing problem and calls to explain options for any further work with quotes. Suggested I had an electrical check on the house, which seemed a good idea but which failed due to another problem I had been totally unaware of. Had fuse box replaced. Work was carried out swiftly and expertly. Craig and partner were really hard workers and a joy to have in my house. After pulling out appliances in my kitchen to check electrics, they cleaned the whole area behind before replacing them. Would highly recommend this company. Very friendly and helpful and would definitely use again. Actually, the rat in retrospect was a blessing, as I would have been unaware of a potentially serious issue if it hadn't bitten through the cable.

I have used Envision Electrics Limited several times now for various jobs in my home and trust them so much they are now my ‘go to’ electricians. Prior to the work being carried out, I received a detailed quote, an explanation of what was involved, alternative options if appropriate and a timescale for the work to be carried out. On each visit, Craig and/or his colleagues arrived on time, carried out the work to a professional standard and treated my home like their own. The most recent job involved the installation of an external security light which was completed on an extremely cold night without a grumble.

I posted my job online and they got back to me within an hour. They explained what would be involved and how they priced their work. This was all very clear and easy to follow. They came out the next day, which was a HUGE relief, this close to Christmas. My fitted dishwasher was tripping all the wall sockets in my house and wasn't connected to a wall plug, so I couldn't just change a plug fuse and see if that worked. They quickly located the fault and explained that my elderly dishwasher was now an ex-dishwasher. They also recommended fitting a wall socket in the recess, since the people who come out to deliver/install your new dishwasher are not going to be able to install it without this. This was again done quickly and professionally. They were professional, friendly, clear communicators, tidy and helpful. The price was well within what I expected to pay: they are also good value. Have passed their details on to colleagues and friends.

Contacted Craig (based on a friend's recommendation) to have a hob replaced and electrical testing but ended up getting our 50+ year old socket circuit replaced with all new sockets, circuit board and some remedial work (which bathroom installers had wired incorrectly). We were very impressed by the good communication throughout, the team were consistently reliable and friendly, they did a great job and their thorough approach to the safety was reassuring. They also worked very tidily and the plastering was excellent (especially considering the walls are old and crumbly). A great company who are thorough, good to work with, safe and reliable. We will definitely return and have already recommended them to others.

A request for a new storm door light to be fitted, resulted in the identification of numerous electrical issues requiring attention and updating. I am so glad we requested a full check up as it revealed numerous issues. Of particular note, structural changes made decades earlier during kitchen recess conversion had left us missing an earth wire in the metal switch to metal kitchen light fittings. Kieran did a thorough job of locating the original wire under layers of plasterboard and wood panels, (which avoided us having to have all kitchen lights replaced with a double insulated alternative) and reinstated the plasterboard once he was finished. We would definitely use Envision Electrics again and recommend their services.

I contacted Craig to fit a new fan in the Utility Room and a new fan in the Bathroom. We also required the Mains Distribution Board to be checked as I thought there was an issue with one of the Breakers. Craig issued a quotation for the works which I thought was reasonable and confirmed I was happy for the works to be completed. Craig arrived on the agreed date and on time and completed the works to a very high standard, cleaning up all the work areas and taking all rubbish away with him. This was the first time I have used Envision Electrical Ltd, and I would be very happy to use them again in the future and recommended to others. Craig and his team completed a range of small electrical jobs for us - fitting an outdoor floodlight, outdoor sockets, extending our smoke alarm system, fitting bathroom cabinet lights, and adding smart sensors to our solar PV system. The work was done to a very high standard, including making the walls good where appropriate, and removing a fair amount of the inevitable dust. Craig advised on equipment choices, and gave a clear quote beforehand. The electricians explained options for the work on the day, including one bathroom cabinet light that wasn’t feasible. They were good about safety, and made clear when the power would need to go off around the house. I was really happy with the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone.

The perfect answer to my nightmare

Christmas is 10 days away, the country is ice-locked and the storage heater which actually heats your entire flat dies. A nightmare for anyone but add in being disabled and housebound and it gets a whole lot worse. Craig was an absolute dream come true, within hours of contacting him he had been here to check what needed to be done and a quote arrived the next day. We knew there was other remedial work required on top of the new storage heater and if I'm honest, it had needed to be done since we bought the house twenty years ago. So we rolled all of it into one and said yes. We couldn't fault their work and they cleared up far better than any other trade people who have ever been here. As luck would have it, there was a fault, but the new year's break didn't stop them from coming to the rescue. Once again clean, fast and efficient. We contacted Craig following soundproofing of a party wall. We'd had another electrician carry out work as he was part of the team soundproofing the wall. Everything worked fine but then we started experiencing problems with our television and devices. We contacted Craig who checked the work and quickly found the faulty connections and repaired them. Envision were to repair/replace an eternal security light and fit new downlighters. Kieron from Envision turned up earlier than planned, and just "got on with it". Solved an issue with the light which had stumped another company and then he and Craig came up with a solution to the downlighters when we realised that the replacements were a different size to the originals. Dust covers were used, and he also cleaned up afterwards!

Craig and Mark’s work was excellent as usual. It involved replacing 25 sockets/light switches, refitting 7 smoke/ carbon monoxide detectors and installing a light fitting. Craig provided a quote from photos I provided and managed to source exactly the same style of socket etc. He kept me informed of when he would arrive and turned up on time. Unfortunately I tested positive for Covid when Craig was first here so he finished installing a light switch and then had to leave for his own safety. Once I recovered, Craig arranged for Mark to come to finish the job. Mark turned up at the expected time and finished the job to my satisfaction. The light fitting he attached was then removed for painting. Craig or Mark will be coming back to complete the installation when the painting is complete. Craig and Mark are always so professional and patient with my very specific requests. I have used them for many jobs and would not hesitate to use them again.

On 1/10/21 I asked for 10 down lights changed to LED and a hall wall light wired up. The job finally finished 25/2/22, lets call that 4 months! First attempt the LED lights were wrong size then they went up, simple work but cost £500. To finally get the wall light looking its best without a birds nest of wires showing through the glass shade I had to stand below and instruct how to do the work bit by bit. I feel exhausted.

We had Envision Electrics recommended to us by another trusted tradesman and we have employed them twice since. The first job was replacing eight LED lights in our bathroom, and the second was to replace various light fittings in our kitchen and install heat, smoke and CO detectors throughout the flat in line with new safety regulations. Craig Mullen who quotes for the work is polite, knowledgeable and friendly, and he keeps to appointment times.
