John and his team have just completed our garden refurb. From the first visit to discuss what we wanted to the last day of completion, the whole process was smooth. John was friendly, professional and patient with my myriad questions! The job was started promptly and completed on time. The team were neat, tidy and left the garden and house pretty clean at the end of each day. At the end of the job they cleaned up thoroughly inside and out. There were a couple of hiccups but they were sorted as soon as I asked. I recommend Equity Drives without hesitation. I had an excellent experience with them.

John and the team at Equity Drives did an excellent job on our driveway, front brick wall, back sandstone patio, and stairs down to the garden. The whole project was completed in just a week and a half, which was far quicker than we expected (the drive was c. 120sqm). The quality of workmanship is fantastic - everything looks great and was finished to a high standard. They were also very thorough with the follow-up, coming back to put down a second layer of sand and seal the drive properly rather than just rushing off to the next job. The deposit to get started was very reasonable, so no concerns on that front. The team kept the site tidy throughout and worked efficiently with minimal disruption. John + team were a pleasure to deal with - good communication and easy to work with. Would highly recommend Equity Drives.

Equity drives were great all the way from the initial visit for quoting through the entire job, John was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. Equity gave us a written quote without any pushy sales. The workers were diligent, hard working and polite. John was available all the way through and responded quickly to questions. The finished driveway looks amazing, we're so happy with the work done and would happily recommend them.

John is very approachable and professional. He provided us with all the information to make a decision. Once we had decided to go ahead John brought a wide range of full size different coloured paving slabs and patiently worked with us to make a choice. He attended on the first and last days of installation to ensure his team were fully briefed and that we were happy. The team completing the work were friendly, hard working and professional. They completed the work to a good standard and took care to get the levels and finish right. The complete work consisted of removal of a brick planter and existing patio, building a step, shaping a flower bed, diverting a drainage pipe, rebuilding outside drain with a cover, as well as laying the patio with block edging. They also added on a couple of extra slabs for the transition from lawn to patio at no extra cost. During the removal of the existing patio the team uncovered a manhole that we never knew existed. John arranged for a flush fitting cover with inlaid paving/ blocks, for a reasonable extra fee. Excellent work and highly recommended.

The new driveway installed by John and his team has far exceeded my expectations. We engaged Equity Drives to replace the block paving around our house and to extend it along our tarmac drive. John and his team were amazing. The guys worked really hard, putting in long days. They were all so polite and courteous. The work was excellent, and completed in a highly professional manner. We had a plant area enlarged. We selected three companies to provide quotes for a resin drive and new garden walls. Equity Drives was the only company that measured the existing front garden for all our requirements, and therefore, we knew that their quotation was based on factual evidence. During the quotation process, continual advice was given on how our requirements could be improved and a detailed description of the construction process was also given. Locations of previous work were provided so that we could view the quality of their work. It was reassuring to know that Equity Drives were accredited installers of the resin drive, and we were directed to the resin manufacturer’s website to request free samples to choose the colour we required. Work commenced in the last week of August as planned. The construction team arrived approximately 7-30 am each morning and prepared themselves to start work at 8 am. The team worked until 5 pm each day and then cleared up, often leaving around 5-30 pm. It should be noted that, depending on the activities being performed, the team continued to work during periods of light rain. During construction, ideas on improving the design and layout were provided, with any additional work clearly costed and advised. The drive and garden walls are of excellent quality, with many neighbours remarking on how good the garden looks and how hard the team worked. The final invoice and total payment were in line with the initial quotation supplied.

We would definitely recommend Equity Drives and their workmanship. We chose to have our front drive block paved, including the installation of raised beds, guttering, a 3-metre brick wall, and provision for electrics under the paving leading to the pillars. John was thoroughly professional during the quotation process. He understood our requirements, showed us sample blocks in our preferred colour, and documented the design, with every detail clearly in the contract. The installation team began work on the agreed date. They were punctual each morning, well-organised in their workflow and material deliveries, and consistently courteous to our neighbours and pedestrians. They worked diligently, were open to suggestions, and maintained a tidy work area throughout. The team also installed 3 security bollards supplied by us, and replaced the step leading to our door with one matching the drive at an additional cost agreed beforehand. The installation was completed within three days. Our drive has transformed brilliantly; we are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and the overall result.

From initial contact to completing the work, we cannot fault John and the team. Throughout they were professional, reliable, timely, hard working, tidy, friendly and accommodating. My wife and I are not just impressed with the end result but over the moon on the great job done. I engaged Equity Drives to lay two new resin bound permeable driveways for us. I got three quotes from different companies, chose Equity as they came across as professional, customer focused and keen on doing a quality job. Pricing was very close between all three quotes. On appointment Equity came around, took more detailed measurements, wrote up a detailed specification of all the work including drawings with notes and we signed an agreement there and then. We paid a c10% deposit at this point. A few weeks later I was contacted with a proposed date to start which we agreed, the team turned up early on the first day and cracked straight on with the work. They removed all the existing driveway and replaced it with a resin bound drive (foundations of type 1 hardcore and permeable tarmac) with block work around the edges. All the work was completed in a week, the team worked incredibly hard - turning up early each morning and not leaving until late, they were polite and a real pleasure to have around. The end result is gorgeous, we are really happy and have had no end of compliments from neighbours. It's also permeable (throw a bucket of water on it and it just disappears!). I have no hesitation in recommending Equity Drives.

We asked Equity Drives to install new fencing around our back garden. John listened carefully to our requirements and the end result is superb. The team was at all times considerate and hard working, arriving on time and leaving after 5 pm. Some more difficult corners down the sides of the house were finished beautifully. They cleaned up everything and left the borders looking tidy, with some new soil added. Work was completed on schedule and on budget.

We hired Equity Drives to convert our old unloved front garden into a modern and useful 2-car parking area. We cannot rate this company highly enough! John (manager) was friendly, approachable and took the time to listen to what we wanted to achieve with the front garden. The workmen were extremely polite and friendly. They were very punctual and worked extremely hard completing our work within three days. They even ensured the street and road was clean and tidy as they worked and at the end of the day! The standard of work is fantastic! Also to my surprise they even backfilled some soil in my neighbours garden and put soil in our new flower bed (I wasn’t expecting this at all).
