I had 5 new central heating radiators installed. The work was done efficiently and without any mess. I have used this company on many occasions without any issues at all. The guys are always friendly and ready to explain what's going on.

They replaced an ageing old boiler for a nice new one. The work was carried out on time and in budget. I chose this company because they installed a heating system in my Daughters house. They are friendly and very helpful all through the process. I now look forward to their annual service visit.I highly recommend them.

Essex Heating have worked hard these summer months to successfully fix a problem with our heating system controls that two previous companies were unable to resolve. They also repaired one of our boilers that suffered a near catastrophic failure when an internal pressure relief safety valve failed. In earlier models of the boiler this valve had been in brass but was now supplied with a 'plastic' fitting. The failure occurred when the threads were stripped from the valve releasing water which caused both the PCB and pump to fail.

They re-fixed our central heating programmer and set up the times for us. The work was done quickly and efficiently. No prior quotation was requested by us, and we chose this firm because they had proved very satisfactory before. The partners always treated us in a friendly and helpful way. In the end they invoiced us at a very fair and acceptable price. We would certainly recommend this firm.

I needed two radiators removed so that I could decorate the hall, stairs and landing. Contacted them on Friday, but they were on holiday and weren't back until Monday (17th). They phoned me on the morning of the 17th and arranged to come to do the removal that day. Taylor came early afternoon and, as always, was polite, friendly and helpful. He removed the radiators quickly with no fuss and no mess, and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing or heating work done.

Taylor helped us out locating our internal stockcock - we recently moved into a house which had been extended multiple times. We and others had tried and failed to find it but Taylor managed to trace the pipe work and soon found it boxed in behind some shelving units in the pantry! So relieved and very happy customers - thank you!

This is the 2nd time I’ve had the pleasure of hiring Essex Heating Solutions’s services. While the first time was for a boiler replacement, this time upon moving to a new home I required a full system overhaul: new boiler fitted in a new location (resulting in existing pipework that needed moving), a new hot water tank & accumulator (to ensure our water pressure would remain strong). Having conducted an initial Homebuyer’s plumbing survey with the company, I got an honest assessment of what was needed to bring our new home into the 21st century. I got a detailed quote from them which explained all the work required, and booked them in. It took them the agreed time to deliver the full project & on budget. Moreover, when contracting tradespeople to a house with young kids can offer challenges, the whole team (Paul, Carlos, Jude & Taylor) are an absolute pleasure to have around. Tidy, great workmanship, knowledgeable & trustworthy. 100% recommend working with them for any heating / plumbing requirements.

This is the third year that Essex Heating have serviced our Warm Air heating boiler and our Gas Water Heater Boiler. Taylor is the individual engineer. This firm are totally reliable, extremely good communication keeping you up to date the whole way through the process. Taylor as well as being extremely personable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with is absolutely thorough and again explains anything you wish to know about. We’ve used the team at Essex Heating Services for over 9 years now who usually service our heating. After our recently moving property we were in need of a new bathroom installation, which after contacting Paul and the team were happy to provide their services. The overall quality work, communication and speed in getting this installed was excellent. In particular I want to thank both Carlos and Taylor not only for their friendly demeanour but also for personally owning where the supplier for our bathroom materials had delivered some damages, the personally took it upon themselves to ensure this was dealt with. For anyone needing bathroom installation completed I recommend highly.

Back in July 2025, I contacted Paul to get a quote for my mother in laws new boiler after a service the previous year. They were quick at responding and offered different options to suit her needs and costs. Throughout the back and forth, Paul and his team were always polite, helpful and professional. On the day, the fitters were both super amazing, Carlos and another chap. Carlos had been to us on a previous visit and My MIL has dementia and can be a bit tricky, he treated her with patience and kindness and directed all questions to her to make her feel involved which was key to winning her round! The installation by the guys was quick and smooth and they even tidied up after themselves, which was expected by me but not always something trades people do well! Thanks again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, a great job done by a great team of people.

All done in time on budget and leaving no mess. Fire now working perfectly . Engineer was engaged polite and explained everything he was doing.

I found this company through online reviews 5 years ago. We had them come in to supply and got a new boiler. They gave genuine honest and truthful advice which I am grateful I took. The installation of the boiler was conducted like a well rehearsed drill - clean, tidy, efficient. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. They send out timely reminders of service dates, their engineers are just lovely people, their services are well prices, especially for the quality of their work and professionalism. Can’t recommend them enough. Glad there are still businesses with such great customer focus.

I used this firm to disconnect and remove a calor gas stove. An appointment was made within a week and on the day before they advised me of the time frame for their attendance the next day. They advised me again on the day itself of the time frame and stuck to this. They did the job very efficiently and were very friendly. All in all the service was excellent.
