Essex Heating Services is a family run Gas Heating and Plumbing Company that has operated for a number of years, providing quality services to the Domestic and Commercial community within the Essex region.
We are a Gas Safe Registered Company and can be found in the Yellow Pages and Thompsons Local Business Directories within the GAS SAFE Registered Advertisement.

Paul and Carlos arrived on time (even a bit early) and got straight on with the job. They were friendly, thorough and respectful. They completed the installation of my new dual fuel range cooker along with the necessary conversion to LPG gas. They explained everything that needed to be explained and did a very thorough safety check and certification of the completed work. I'm glad I found them and highly recommend them. Oh yes, they are also thoroughly nice people.

We had our warm air central heating serviced by Essex Heating Services again this year. It was nice to see the same engineer attend. He came on time and gave us an estimated time it would take to complete the job. Taylor, who has worked for the company for many years was lovely, courteous and polite and did a thorough job. I needed my kitchen sink and taps replaced. Taylor arrived at the arranged time, and was friendly and polite. Some of the parts I had bought were the wrong ones, and Taylor wasted no time in obtaining the correct ones. He had to trim the worktop for the new sink to fit, and did an excellent job of completing the work. Hew cleared up all the mess afterward and took away the old sink and taps. I'm very pleased with the work he did, and at a reasonable price. I have no hesitation in recommending Essex Heating Services.

Only place for me
My 6 month old thermostat was not responding to my request for 16 degrees and constantly gave 20 degrees turning my home into a sauna. Asked for help from Essex Heating and at 9.30am on Thursday 27th March Taylor arrived, could see I had a problem and at my request for the present thermostat to be replaced with a simple model went out there and then to find one, which he did and fitted it immediately. Taylor has been here many times and is always extremely polite and goes out of his way to make sure you are fully satisfied and happy with his work. Wouldn’t go anywhere else than Essex Heating Company.

Several pieces of work needed carrying out on my central heating system/boiler/shower. The engineer ( Taylor ) impressed me from the outset....polite, professional and very knowledgable about his trade. All the work was completed successfully and I will not be using any other company in future. Communications from their head office were timely and always customer focussed. I wish I'd found this company earlier as they surpassed all previous experiences of dealing with electrical/plumbing services!

I am a Landlord and have been using Essex Heating Services for both my own house & my rental properties for over 10 years. Contacted Essex Heating Services as our old gas cooker had suddenly given up the ghost and we wanted a new one fitted later the same week. Paul and Carlos were very helpful and accommodating. They clearly explained the new Gas Safe regulations as we had been getting confusing (and incorrect) information from cooker retailers about whether our existing cooker hood met the minimum height clearance requirement for the new cooker. Thankfully it did so we could order the new cooker. Carlos came and carried out a number of safety checks, and uninstalled the old cooker so it could be taken away by the company supplying the new cooker later that day. Carlos returned as arranged the next morning, installed the new cooker and carried out the final safety checks. We were very happy with the work and expertise of both Carlos and Paul, we would have no hesitation using Essex Heating Services again in the future and have already recommended them to a friend.

Carlos and his son arrived on time to service my boiler. Both were polite, friendly and kept me informed of what they were doing. As my boiler is very old, I was concerned that it may need work doing to it but after a thorough inspection and some maintenance , Carlos said it was all ok. This was very reassuring as some companies would have told me they don't make parts for this make and model anymore, (this happened to my neighbour with the same boiler). Very pleased with the service provided and the follow up communications checking everything was ok. Would definitely recommend Essex Heating Services.

Having fitted a smart thermostat for an elderly couple (my In-laws). They found that they were struggling with using this modern system. The system proved to be faulty but the elderly couple no longer trusted the modern system and wanted a simple thermostat that they could manually switch on and off as they were used to. This was sourced and fitted by Essex Heating engineer. I thank them for their concern and help in resolving this issue and putting my In-laws mind at rest. First class service.

Taylor arrived at the stated time and got to work immediately. He dismantled the cover of the boiler and noticed that there was an issue with an old water leak. He completed the service by checking the gas meter. As the water was not leaking now he decided not to fiddle with it but warned me of the problem.
