Roof inspection - work not completed

This feedback is not intended as a criticism but as a sugggestion for improvement. Without doubt the contractor is very approachable and friendly. He has been very kind and flexible throughout the booking process to find a suitable time for everyone. However, they did not check whether the area of the property was an area where drones can fly. We only found out on the day of the inspection (Friday) when It turned out that that was a no-fly zone for drones. They reassured me that they would fix the issue by early next week. The next week I contacted them multiple times suggesting whether we should find alternatives to the drone. They just gave evasive responses and indicated that there apparently there was a problem with the drone itself more than with the specific area of the property. On Friday I decided to choose another contractor and let them know. They only then came back to me and indicated that they could not fly the drone due to the no-fly zone. I would highly recommend to the contractor to be more transparent and clearly states whether they will be able to carry out their tasks or not. This has caused me a serious delay in a crucial moment for the purchase process.

Work carried out by EST Roofing LTD: guttering, chimney stack re-pointing, eaves protection, and wooden facias replacement. I found Sam from EST Roofing LTD to be a really really nice guy, super friendly, very polite, well spoken, may I add, unlike any other roofer I've ever come across. The price he quoted for the work was very reasonable. I cannot fault the work that was carried out by Sam and his team.

EST Roofing came to fix a leak we had in our building coming from the roof and external pipe. Sam came quickly and he was very great at identifying the source of the issue. He provided a quote which was done very professionally - so easy to get approved by my freehold. He then came to fix the issue in a very timely manner and provided pictures of the repairs. Throughout the work he was very professional as well as very responsive. This is not easy to find such high professional tradespeople nowadays. Highly recommended

I cannot recommend Sam from EST Roofing Ltd enough. With clear, frequent and timely communication right from the start, he fixed our storm damaged 3rd story roof and advised us on maintenance work, which we gratefully undertook. He was then also able to remedy the leaks inside and paint throughout. We are beyond happy with his service, knowledge and expertise. If you want great work delivered dependably, Sam is your man.
