I purchased a new Bosch oven from a national retailer and also paid for installation. The retailer’s fitters encountered problems when they disconnected the old cooker and advised me that they were unable to go ahead with the installation of the new cooker. They reinstalled the old cooker and left me the new boxed cooker. The work required included replacing wiring to the wall cooker isolator - the wiring was buried behind cabinets and wall tiles. I got the details of ETE Electrical Contractors Ltd from the Which Trusted Traders site and Ian came out to review the work needed. He pointed out that two wall tiles were at risk of damage but said that he would do his best to avoid that. In the event he successfully replaced the wiring without breaking the tiles and, whilst a couple of problems arose because of the old fashioned housing for the cooker Ian found ways of resolving those problems. Ian is a pleasant man and patiently explained what was happening in ways that I could understand. He worked diligently and cleared up when the job was finished. I am delighted with the result and Ian will be my first port of call when I need further electrical work. To cap it all the invoice was really reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend Ian.

Ian is a very pleasant man, came round to give me an estimate for the work which was required by the planning department, to bring my property up to today’s regulations. Ian was quick to give me a written quote. On the day of installation, Ian arrived on time (which is always good to see), explained what he was going to do and the access required. The job took around 3 hours to complete. Ian did a very good job of clearing up any mess. I would highly recommend this company for electrical work.

Work consisted of updating the electrical systems throughout my bungalow. Work was completed satisfactorily. This company listened to my requirements and did all that I asked, and more. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

I needed someone to replace a small fuse box in our garage and run electrical supply through to a new shed and summerhouse. Ian promptly responded to my original enquiry and came around to talk and plan out the job. I received a quote that weekend and booked Ian up in a spare spot he had at the end of the week after. Ian and his worker Lewis arrived promptly on the Thursday morning and started work immediately. Lewis done the bulk of the work with Ian regularly checking and advising. They done a great job on the fusebox and installing lights and sockets in the shed and sockets in the summerhouse. Ian also conducted all the testing required and when I asked him if he could come back another time to do another small job for me he done it in 19 minutes there and then. Very today and conscientious workers who I thoroughly recommend. Thanks guys!!

When the extension work to my bungalow was carried out in 2020, the builder used Ian, from ETE Electricals, to carry out the wiring etc for the new extension and other work on my bungalow. So, when I, retrospectively, wanted a new wall-mounted, electric radiator fitted, Ian was the obvious person to use. Unfortunately, what seemed to be a fairly straight forward job, turned out to be a bit of a marathon. The first unit that the supplier sent didn't have the correct screws and nuts etc, so Ian had to think how to get round the problem and then came back to fit this very heavy unit on the wall, so it wouldn't come off! It transpired that the supplier had sent me a faulty unit, so they agreed to send a replacement unit. Ian came back a third time to fit the replacement unit successfully at the beginning of January 2024. No grumbling from Ian about this. I am very pleased with my wall mounted electric radiator.

I have used ETE Electrical Contractors many times before and have always been more than satisfied with their service. Ian Lewis is a nice guy who is always punctual, helpful and does not over-charge. Would definitely recommend.
