I had seen the work of the Ewell Window Company in my area and it looked promising. So I engaged them to install my windows. I paid a deposit in mid-July and was told that I would have to wait 'ten to twelve weeks'. I calculated a twelve week period and noted the date. Three days before the due date I contacted the company to ask at what time they were coming on the due date. I was told that the date of installation had been moved to three weeks ahead-but nobody had informed me. So I then had to postpone all other tradesmen who were to do work for me (bar one who told me he was not available again until February!) to accommodate Ewell Windows. Their lack of communication meant that I now have the job of completing the paintwork myself at nothing like the standard of my professional painter. Annoying and frustrating!

On the plus side: work done in line with price quoted. Fitters punctual, polite and as clean as it is reasonable to expect. One issue with original product installed was resolved quickly and without complaint. Only negative was the overall timing. Told 6 days but 2 fitting teams, so ran into a second week and had to adjust work to accommodate this.

Ewell windows said they would install by a certain date which they did not come out on this was disappointing and a communication issue. However when they did come out the installers were amazing, they did a fantastic job and were very quick. We are pleased with the new windows.

From the moment I contacted Ewell Windows they responded quickly even suggestion a temporary solution to a broken glass door panel. The installation team worked very well. They used ceiling supports as requested and did not disturb the building structure. The work was completed in a tidy & neat way. They were very helpful. The only problem was with the width of the sash windows. The drawing said 570mm they were in fact 670mm wide. But they look in proportion to the job.
