A family business supplying and installing floorcoverings domestically and commercially around our Ashford base and neighbouring areas, we have found ourselves in far flung places when previous clients have moved and requested our services for which we have been happy to oblige,

Refreshingly, when we contacted David to arrange a quotation for recarpeting our staircase, he offered to visit us the same day to measure up. He brought an excellent selection of samples and offered astute advice regarding colour, texture and design. This helped us to determine that carpeting the whole stairs would be more practical and easier to maintain than installing a runner. Within a week of David’s visit, the carpet arrived and was fitted by Martin who was also knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Martin worked tirelessly, installing the underlay and stair carpet in just a few hours and deftly repairing a brass trim which had come unstuck during the recent heatwave. Our experience of Fancy Floors has been a delight; now, instead of clomping, we glide upstairs.

Excellent carpet quality - I got the 100% wool - and what a joy it is to walk on. David Fancy brought all the sample books to our home, so we had a great choice and he advised us well & is very knowledgeable. The fitters did a thorough job over 3 days and moved the furniture in and out of rooms. Thrilled with the results.

I contacted David to come around to quote for carpeting upstairs and also the stairs. He arrived on time and brought a number of samples with him and luckily I chose one to do the entire area. His quote was fair and the date to fit was agreed. I also asked him for a stock sample to make sure of the colour and he brought this to me a couple of weeks later. The work was completed over a two day period and what impressed me first was that I received a text reminder the day before and on the day. The work was completed beautifully and I am very happy with the result. David's approach is what I would call, in the nicest possible way, traditional and it is really nice to experience that type of service again. I would highly recommend Fancy Floors.

We needed a fast turnaround to fix some floors at my Father's house whilst he was in hospital to remove trip hazards. David was accommodating and helpful in promptly coming round to measure up and bringing samples as well as his years of experience to aid in selection of a new carpet for one room and new vinyl for two others. Martin came and fitted the carpet just two days later, then after some unforeseen issues discovered with the floor following removal of the old vinyl, he was back in another couple of days to fit that. Very accommodating and flexible, and great service by a great independent local company.

I'm very pleased with our new carpet from Fancy Floors. We first visited the shop and explained what we were looking for to David, who listened carefully and understood what we wanted. He then visited us at home with an appropriate selection of sample books that made it very easy to choose the right carpet, checking the colour and texture in the room it would be fitted to make sure it looked right. David then sent us an all inclusive quote, and fitting was arranged at a time that worked for us. Throughout, David and his team made everything straight forward and easy and we are delighted with the finished result.

We have used Fancy Floors in the past and chose them again this time for the ease of purchase, and the quality of the carpets they supply, and the excellent service from both Dave and the Neil who carried out the fitting. The fitting team are always polite, punctual and take great pride in their work. Our latest project was to replace the carpet on our stairs and landing, which now looks fantastic. We are already in the process of planning the same carpet in the lounge. Thanks Dave another great job done.
