Fancy Floors

We had a new vinyl floor fitted in our upstairs toilet. We always use Fancy Floors & their fitters are brilliant. David at Fancy Floors is our 'go-to' person every time Very pleased with the result.

This is the second time we have used Fancy Floors to provide and fit carpets. The experience was faultless. The carpet, underlay and fixing battens were good value. The laying was prompt and seamless. All-in-all a very positive experience.

This year the time has come for our carpet, underlay and door bars to be entirely replaced. Fancy Floors was recommended to us by a neighbour who used them before and we are very pleased to have chosen them. David was very professional and polite throughout the whole process: he gave us plenty of choices in terms of colours available and was able to answer all technical questions. Quote was provided fairly quickly and he adjusted the fitting schedule in order to meet our needs. We are very pleased with the overall result and would like to recommend Fancy Floors for carpet fitting!

I have used Fancy Floors quite a few times previously . But recently I have had 2 occasions for using the service. Once in a rental flat and the other at my parents place. The initial contact is great, the measuring service swift, the quote is emailed in a timely manner. All correspondence, with the visit reminder and time of fitting are very useful . Both jobs were priced fairly and fitted really well. I have no hesitation in recommending Fancy Floors and will use them again in the future. Very grateful.

As someone who likes to use local businesses where possible, Fancy Floors is my first choice if I need flooring. Used them several times and they have never let me down. Friendly and professional staff.

After a phone call explaining my situation David came round with some sample laminate flooring and measured up the two rooms. 3 weeks later a contractor came round and did an excellent job installing. Price was a tad on the higher end than other quotes, but the quality of the work deserved it.

After discovering that the carpet and vinyl we wanted had both been discontinued, Fancy Floors took the time and trouble to source suitable alternatives. Delivery was quick and the fitter did an excellent job in our bathroom and cloakroom We have used this company for many years and will continue to do so.

A first class service. Good communication throughout with friendly, helpful advice. Fitting professionally carried out by a very experienced fitter who was polite and friendly and very efficient. Old carpet was even taken up and removed by the fitter which was unexpected but very helpful indeed. Clean and tidy worker. Would highly recommend this company. Service was quick too from selection of carpet to fitting. Good selection of carpets. Will return in the future when needed with no hesitation.

We contacted David prior to Christmas and discussed our requirements. He visited promptly the following week to measure and within 1-2 days to gave us a quote. Once we were ready to put the wheels in motion we visited his shop and picked out the vinyl/laminate and carpet styles. Booking days in was super simple and David worked around the days/times we were available. We had confirmation emails each time to remind us of appointment dates and times. The guy doing the work, Neil, was great each day he was here. Wanted to just get cracking but found time to have a quick chat when he was taking a break to have a bite to eat etc. The colours we have now flow from our stairs and living room and kitchen and they look amazing. We are ecstatic when we compare photos for how the floors looked previously compared to now. When we do any future work on this place or a new one David will be at the top of our list. We would highly recommend anyone to call and I’ve no doubt David and his team will give you a competitive quote and a wonderful new floor too!!

We were recommended fancy floors by a family member who had all their new floors done following a loft conversion. We went in to the shop & Mr Fancy was polite & knowledgeable & great with our 3yo engaging her in the process & showing her all the floor books with different colours. Mr Fancy then measured up a couple of days later and the fitting was organised to be done 3 weeks later (by A problem with the subfloor was identified (sorted seperately by a carpenter) & then our chosen vinyl subsequently laid & we are thrilled with the result. Fancy floors have done other family members since.

The work was done quickly, and without any problems. I have used this company in the past, and was happy to get them to do this job.

Friendly service from start to finish. We had 2 rooms done and there was a 3 week gap in between which was easily accommodated without any problems by Fancy Floors. Excellent fitting of vinyl on both occasions.

Fancy Floors have done a careful and excellent job of laying new LVT vinyl flooring in our lounge and hallway. David was helpful and friendly, and we spent a considerable time in the shop discussing alternative flooring solutions, and finding the one that best met our requirements. He then brought flooring samples round to our house, and organised the purchase and delivery. Neil the fitter arrived exactly on time, worked quickly, methodically and carefully, causing minimal disturbance and tidying up as he went. He first moved our furniture for us, lifted and took up the old carpet, and thoroughly cleaned the floor. He then carefully laid the new vinyl planks, fitted door strips and trims, replaced the furniture, cleaned up and left the room spotless and tidy. We are delighted with the end-result, and commend Fancy Floors for their friendly and helpful service, and their well-planned, careful and excellent work.

I had new carpets fitted on the stairs in my new home last week, and the service was exceptional. David came out one evening to quote for the job and show us available carpet options. He was very flexible with times as I was working and was very helpful when it came to discussing the job. He was able to suggest ideal carpets that would stand up to a large family with a dog. I chose three that I liked and he was able to send me quotes the next day. We got the job booked in, David and his team we very punctual on the day, very skilled and a pleasure to have doing the job. Upon completion, the carpet looked amazing, completely changed the look and feel of the house. I am very pleased with the results and the service received. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone needing carpets done, and if I ever needed more, I'd certainly go back to them.
