Annual service of Worcester Bosch Boiler and Megaflo hot water cylinder by Ryan. Arrived as agreed, no problems, paperwork completed. We have been customers of Farthings for over fifteen years and in that time we have a new Boiler and a Hot water tank fitted and installed. The Farthings Staff have all been excellent in there assistance and knowledge. Tidy, no mess and very efficient. We have always been well satisfied with their work. We would highly recommend. Rang Farthings on Monday 18th after experiencing a power cut 2 days earlier, and been unable to reignite boiler. Plumber arrived at 8.15am next morning and told us we had 2 options - a new circuit board on old boiler or a new boiler. Within about 5 hours we received a written quote for both options. We accepted the quote for a new boiler as old boiler was at least 15 years old. Plumber said it would be Thursday or Friday for new one to be fitted. Next morning (Wed) they rang at 8am to say they would be with us in half an hour. The new boiler arrived with the delivery driver and by 8.45 work was under way. Everything was done efficiently with no problems. Left clean and tidy. Thermostat/ timer set and explained. Work completed by 3.45pm. Further visit received on Friday to drain cleaner from system. All 4 plumbers who attended were polite, closed doors behind them as it was the coldest few days of the year. Nothing was too much trouble and all rubbish taken away.

Stress free progression from quote to installation, a good team and a local supplier. Installation completed as per date we were informed of.

I have used Farthings for a few years for annual boiler service, for a shower room refurbishment and the occasional leak. More recently they have replaced a faulty shower pump. They are always easy to contact, answer their phone promptly and provide quick and efficient service. Always a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent service from start to finish. Initial visit to advise on options as existing unit was leaking from under the tray. Decided to replace the whole shower cabinet as the existing one was over 25 years old. The work involved both plumbers and electrician and this was coordinated by Farthings. I was kept informed throughout the installation. Great friendly people who fitted in with my other commitments. Removed all the rubbish and left the bathroom clean and tidy. A lovely surprise when I received a bouquet of flowers to thank me for my custom. Great touch. Customer service is first class.

When our boiler failed during really cold weather last February, Farthings attended promptly and we quickly had heating back on. In September it failed again so we decided on a new boiler which Farthings installed. Their service was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. We also needed help with a leaking toilet cistern and the prompt response from Farthings was brilliant. Can't recommend them enough, a first class company.

My boiler failed Friday lunchtime. Farthings attended and diagnosed a terminal fault. They then sourced a new boiler 25 miles away and had it running by Saturday lunchtime. Outstanding service! Although I have used Farthings for years for my annual boiler service, I have no service contract with them, or any other connection.

Farthings Plumbing & Heating installed a complete new bathroom for me (new floor, tiling, complete new suit and fixtures and fittings). They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the initial consultation, planning, product offer and highly skilled plumber, tiler & all-rounder (a real craftsman) they cannot be faulted. They started when they said they would, were tidy throughout and went above and beyond. Their level of workmanship was exemplary. I have no hestitation in recommending their services.

Fantastic service all round from Darryl's quote to completion. James, our fitter was first class, he arrived at eight every day and always told us what was happening on the day. He was professional and friendly, he's a credit to the company. We were due to have an extractor fan fitted but when the electrician arrived he found this couldn't be completed as per the original quote. An alternative method was found and completed at no addition cost. We're more than happy with the work completed and would use Farthings again.

Farthings have carried out a number of jobs for us, most recently a complete refit of our family bathroom and en-suite. They are a professional outfit. You get a detailed quotation within a couple of days of their visit and they now have a great showroom at their premises in Glenfield which is a great help with choosing products and tiles etc. Their prices are reasonable and comparable. We were allocated Kelvin for our job, who arrived before 8 am every day. His workmanship is of the highest standard with great attention to detail. He is also very engaging, nothing is too much trouble including hoovering carpets at the end of each day. Our 2 bathrooms are fantastic, we could not be more delighted and we do not say that very often! We would definitely use Farthings again and are happy to recommend them.

We had used Farthings on a number of occasions but the last time was to refit our downstairs cloakroom. Farthings came and measured up and produced a plan which was perfect for the room. Once we had agreed to the plan the work was scheduled and completed without a hitch to a very good standard. Their showroom was a great source of inspiration as it contained lots of examples which made the choice of materials so much easier than trying to choose them online or from a catalogue. What was most pleasing is that the whole job was completed by the same person with no hanging around for different trades to complete specific aspects of the fit. The fitter was really good and did a lovely job from start to finish and kept us updated all through the fitting out. Would highly recommend Farthings and indeed we have further work which needs attention and we shan't be looking anywhere else.

Farthings supplied and fitted a new bathroom for us 3 years ago. The service from start to finish was first class. Unfortunately, due to a leak from the loo the vanity units were damaged with water ingress. On the day of the leak after a phone call Farthings sent a plumber within the hour who identified the problem and made the loo safe. Due to the lock down they were not able to effect a repair but as soon as the lockdown was lifted they were able to order the parts and complete a full repair in 2 weeks. Pretty impressive given the circumstances. The bathroom now looks like new again. Excellent workmanship and very tidy workmen who respect your property. Would definitely recommend.

Big job. Lots of plumbing (new boiler), electrics (underfloor heating), brickwork, new windows and door, plastering, flooring, tiling etc. etc. etc. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and adaptable. Hard working and basically good at what they do. We're very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them.
