Farthings Plumbing and Heating Ltd. The Farthing Family has been serving Leicestershire since 1964.
Farthings time served qualified engineers are highly skilled and experienced in providing bathroom installations, plumbing and heating services, we ensure a quality job every time.
Farthings are gas safe registered and Worcester BOSCH accredited installers.
Farthings offer free quotations on installation and servicing of bathrooms, boilers, central heating systems, solar heating and other energy efficient systems. All our gas and central heating specialists are qualified professionals who work solely for Farthings Plumbing and Heating. Our trained professionals make sure every job is done to the highest standard and that the location of work is clean and tidy after completion.
We are combination boiler specialists and offer boiler servicing and maintenance contracts along with a fault finding service.

Had to cancel first contract, due to my husbands illness, prompt return of our deposit. After his death, I reordered work by phone - altered my changes with showers and completed job in 1 week some 3 weeks after that phone call no complaints - clean professional helpful all the way.

I have no hesitation in recommending this very friendly firm. On taking the old boiler out they explained everything they were doing and why alterations were needed on the outside. The final bill was exactly the same as the quote. They also did a very good job at cleaning up afterwards.

Farthings damaged my highly polished and expensive chrome shower whilst replacing a thermostatic cartridge ten days ago. The engineer did not deny he had to my wife. We reported the damage to their office and customer services and was told Paul Farthing a Director of the company would call back within two hours, he didn't nor the next day either. More than a week and a dozen calls later with me promising to visit their office to deal with it in person I finally receive a call to advise me the engineer denies causing any damage and I must have damaged it myself. I feel that this company is thoroughly untrustworthy in its approach, actions, and promises. They have lied to me and my wife for more than ten days and over a total of 20 calls made to them. I have been left with no option but to take them to court to recover my loss. Please do not make the same mistake I have, but as a principled person I refuse to be ripped off and will not be on this matter. RJ Weir 5/08/2016

Simon arrived at the time promised each day & was always polite & caring. He explained each stage of the work and warned us if it was going to be noisy. We had plans for extension with box shower. A casual mention to a Farthings man whilst servicing boiler led us to speak to Darryl F. He project managed the build on our behalf using contractor he knew and the firm did the inside works. All to a very high standard. Any snags sorted yesterday! We are very satisfied that the work has come in under quote and the service throughout was A! Feel that can trust all 1/4d man in the house alone if we have to go out, and they clean-up well after themselves and do not abuse refreshment facilities that you leave for them. Contact/co-ordination was A1 and arrival times/plans adhered to.
