About
Our story begins in 1977 in the small seaside town of Felixstowe on the beautiful Suffolk Coast. Back then, three siblings from the Webber family wanted to bring life-changing innovations, like the newly created mobility scooter, to the coastal community they called home. Taking the plunge, they opened a first-of-a-kind mobility shop. We’ve grown up to become trusted experts in the mobility and patient handling sectors, and Felgains is now a second-generation family firm. The products we offer and the markets we serve have evolved and expanded, as we’ve steadfastly pursued our mission of harnessing innovation to enable better care and improve lives. Today, we serve the NHS, care providers and private individuals across the UK through our Clinical and Mobility divisions. The journey of the last 45 years has been one of growth and change, but our values endure. We may not always have been the loudest voice, but we’ve been quietly changing thousands of lives for the better. Really, it’s about you.
