Finesse Windows Limited

Finesse replaced a rotten timber framed window and door at the rear of our house with a lovely UPVC-framed fitting. Communication was clear, the surveyor was knowledgeable and helpful and we were offered a choice of styles. The job was completed quickly. The fitters were polite, tidy and did a fantastic job. The new door has enhanced our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Finesse.

Finesse Windows have been amazing to deal with from start to finish. We have a property built in 1880 that had beautiful original window designs but they were cracked, painted shut, had secondary glazing and it was time to get them all looking good and working again. My only stipulation was to replicate the original windows and Finesse did a fantastic job - we have had so many compliments about the finished installation. After living with the windows for a few weeks we realised one was sticking slightly when we opened it and the furniture on another was white instead of black. When I contacted Finesse they got me booked in right away and everything was sorted out impeccably. All the staff we have dealt with have been very professional and what could have been quite a disruptive experience within the house has actually been a pleasure. Thank you Finesse!

Came to fit bathroom window on 11/4/19. Wrong measurements had been taken! Once frame had been re-made it was fitted on 18/4/19. This time one of the glass units had been damaged. I called Finesse and spoke to someone to complain that this was not going well. He apologised but basically said there was nothing he could do. Again we had to wait in on 30/4/19 for the new unit to be fitted. We received no formal apology, and after being good customers of Finesse for 15 years we expected better. No attempt has been made to make us feel better about this and I am furious at having to wait in on four separate occasions when twice should have sufficed (once for measuring and once for fitting). We hoped we would receive either a letter or even a small discount by way of apology, but nothing was forthcoming, just a statement to be paid. It was a catalogue of errors that Finesse do not care about making us feel better about. We will never use them again!

We had a new front door and windows fitted over a couple of days, the job right from the word go, to the job finish, everyone was excellent. With a special word for the fitters, there was no damage to existing decor, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Really well done.

All our double glazing and soffits have been replaced by Finesse, we choose this company, you request a quote and there is no pressure to carry out the work until you are ready, fitting was done within three weeks of order being placed. The product is of high quality and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this company.

From the first call I made to make the enquiry and arrange for someone to call and give me a quote (Ray), the surveyor coming to make the final appraisal and then the fitting team, everyone was absolutely professional and gave an air of expertise, never keeping me waiting. I was only having one window replaced but was treated as a valued customer. The fitting team, three people led by Michael, far exceeded what I was expecting by the work they produced. There was no mess, everything moved out of the way and the carpet was covered. The old window removed and the surround cleared and tidied before the new one fitted. The result it excellent, I couldn't have wished for more. I have no hesitation in recommending them and using them again for my other windows and doors.

We had two windows replaced , from a previous supplier, that had misted, lounge window no problem, the kitchen door window had a flaw , called customer service, they arranged a replacement , that was also flawed , in the end it was sorted , no fault on Finesses side it was due to glass manufacturer. Finesse replaced all the windows in our house (19 windows) and our porch. All completed to time (took a week to complete - ran behind a little on the way, but Finesse sent more fitters out so as not to delay, which was great) and to the agreed cost. Number of things have made Finesse stand out: - local smaller business - nice to be able to support a local company. - environmental aspects - the windows are A class eco rating (and have made a massive difference to the warmth of the house already) - security - excellent locks on the doors (porch and patio) - Ultion into snap, which was standard and very impressed. - feature window - we asked Finesse to produce a leaded window for our landing window based on a design i provided - great work, exactly what 'd asked for and looks excellent. - sales - no pressure and really helpful in adjusting the quote as we went through (i made a lot of changes and were very patient and helpful). Can also go and look at the windows being made on site if want to (we didn't but nice to have the offer). - Fitting - great experience, the lead fitter (Chris) was great, kept me up to date with how progress was going and asked questions to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted (for example, we didn't want plastic strips round the windows, so Chris kept these off and made good the plaster work). Was really surprised how little damage to the old plaster etc from taking old windows out - they took care and could tell with the output.

We have just had our patio door replaced with a large window. It looks fabulous! We are thrilled with the results. The fitter, Visual, was excellent. He made sure that every detail was perfect. He worked very quickly and efficiently and ensured that everywhere was left clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company and I would certainly use them again.

Superb service from a trusted installer. From the first visit by the estimator to the final installation Finesse created confidence and displayed professionalism. Nothing was too much much trouble and even after installation they returned to check all was well and brought tokens of appreciation for the business. Highly recommended for real customer-focussed attention and excellent value for money.

Finesse Windows fitted 49 windows and doors for me in November 2018. From sales to installation to aftercare I can not fault them. Dean the salesman was lovely and helpful, not pushy at all. Installation took 3 weeks . The fitters were amazing. Very respectful and cleaned up after themselves. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They had a hard job taking out my old steal windows with individual lead pieces. There are a lot of window companies out there, I’m so pleased I chose to go with Finesse based on the excellent reviews. They are a family run business with a great ethos. Finesse will be replacing all our office windows in April.

Finesse fitted new front and back doors. We chose them as they gave us most confidence that we would get a high quality product and service, and we weren't disappointed. All staff, from sales and measuring to fitting and reception were courteous and professional. The fitter cleaned up carefully when finished. A slight problem with the fit of the front door, noticed later, was fixed promptly. Overall we're a happy customer.

We've had the roofline replaced, all new windows and doors, and had the conservatory replaced. I can definitely recommend the dark grey, it has completely transformed the look of our house. We've known of Finesse for a number of years now, and only considered them for our order knowing of the quality and security benefits of the product to be fitted, the level of detail they place on getting your order right and to the standard you want, along with the unrivaled commitment to service from order to fitting to final check. When the original survey was completed, even though we were having our conservatory replaced, keeping the original base, Andy still offered some suggestions to alter the design that would enhance the overall look to what we originally had. Once the fitting had finished, we were shown around by the lead fitter to make sure everything was to the standard we expected. But even before we started he did mention two panes of glass had small scratches on them, and these were replaced within a few days - there's upfront honesty for you! I expected this of Finesse anyway, but it was comforting to experience the quality of the fitters and builders during the two weeks they were on site, friendly, careful around our house, and just a really nice bunch of guys. I would like to thank finesse for a great installation, we were kept informed all through out the job, the salesman was very helpful, we shopped around a bit first to make sure we were getting the best advice and to check how they were on price, but common sense prevailed and decided to go with finesse, our installation went smoothly, the fitter were very clean and tidy, the after sales was great, they were not the cheapest however you do get what you pay for. We had 6 new windows plus french doors installed to our community centre. Being in a conservation area we were worried about what we would be allowed. Finesse Windows took all that worry away by designing some fantastic windows that were in keeping with the 1920s building and suitable for the area. The quality of the work and the speed of their installation was excellent and their customer service second to none. We would highly recommend them!

I needed 3 new rear windows and 2 doors on the rear elevation of the property and was recommended to Finesse by a friend who had recently had all of her windows replaced. The job was completed yesterday and I am very satisfied with the standard of workmanship achieved by the 2 tradesmen. They were both friendly and professional, and completed the work with a minimum of fuss. They left the place in a clean and tidy condition. The whole process from point of sale, to survey and completion had been flawless and I would have no hesitation in further recommending Finesse Windows to any potential new customer.

We had 12 windows fitted, 2 Large 5 sided bays, an oversize patio window and 9 other windows. We were very pleased with the quality and finish of the windows. The fitters, Jez and Will, were with us for 5 days. They were friendly, efficient and checked at all times that we were happy with what they were doing. We assumed we would have to decorate all of the rooms straight after but in fact we wont have to rush to do any remedial work inside. Couldn't have wished for a better experience. Would highly recommend Finesse to anyone and we were happy that the workmanship followed true to form from the reviews we had read when choosing Finesse to install our windows.
